Comfortable atmosphere I had a late check in and when I tried to use the phone, it wouldn't work, so no supper. I was too tired to go to desk, so that was my only disappointment. I couldn't get anyone on the phone!

Large rooms. Ours had a king bed and a couch. Comfortable beds. Very big tiled bathrooms with separate shower and tub. The price was excellent. The bed did have two foam and two down pillows, but they were standard size. I would have preferred king size down pillows. There was a desk in the room but no table with chairs. A separate small round table with at least one chair would have been nice.

location and some of the people( not all in front desk specifically ) telephone completely broken, were never able to use it to simply call front desk and a water leak in the bathroom that was never repaired. Horrible pillows to small and to soft. air conditioned to noisy and rooms not completely isolated from noise.

The staff's friendly style was great. The overall presentation is one of rich elegance. The shower smelled of mold. You could see it on the rubber gaskets at the bottom of the shower. The tile of the bathroom floor although very nice needs to be deep cleaned. It is not sparkling and if it were it would enhance the color scheme.

The booking of rooms at the back of the hotel is not advisable as a busy railway line with heavy goods trains with loud horns was close by and kept waking us up. No comment as to if they could be heard or felt at the front of the building.

I loved the historical yet elegant feel of the hotel. There are very few parking spaces in the front of the Hotel and we did not realize until we left that the parking garage was for hotel guest because it looks like it is for the apartments located behind the hotel. It would helpful if the staff explained that option for parking to the guest as they check in, especially if they arrive late on a Friday night that the college is holding a formal in the hotel.
