A lot of noise coming from the city even though the window is closed. Non-free WiFi
the pictures are not real. the room has no natural light, the hotel was old and awfull
The location was the main factor.
Tiny room and bathroom. Loo roll holder under the sink! Poor cleanliness. Hair and fingernails. On the carpet. Ancient aircon unit rattling all night beneath mildew stained curtains.
Location was the only good thing.
First room was called a superior room... It was horrendous. Wall paper falling of walls, curtain were stained and damp, bathroom was extremely small. Very dated, sad looking room, smallest room I have ever stayed in. Staff in lobby were not professional at all. Doorman was just wandering around chatting across the lobby with the receptionist, leaning on the counter helping him self to the sweets. The receptionist was average. After complaining about our room she said we could up grade for £50 a night (our room was already charged at £239 a night) this made our 'upgrade' £289 a night plus tax. Even with the location I wouldn't expect this rate for this hotel I have stayed in New York before for a similar amount and the room were light, air, larger better facilities and the staff were much better at their job. Our upgraded room had a kettle however only had plug sockets on the floor... Not great having to make a tea I. The morning on the floor when you have just paid over £289 pound a night!! The jolly hotel need to seriously look at updating the hotel and training theie staff. If you do decide to stay here (which I am not recommending) don't stay in a room on any lower floor than 14. Even one of the staff that showed us to our second room said the rooms on the top floor are nicer!
Our room was deluxe which I heard is the more updated modern rooms. We had a flat screen, modern bathroom, big bed and spacious room.
The rest o the hotel was a bit out dated. The price is a bit much for what you get but the location is what you are really paying for.
Nothing at all
No wifi, no twin beds, poor service, really bad attention from the receptionists.
location and cleanliness. Very cuzy Hotel and fornitures in excelent conservation. Beaultiful Hotel.
Minibar and internet conectiin expensive. Conditioned air was not eorking properly.
Location, easy walk to broadway, shopping. Great restaurants and delis. Quiet, staff good except first night
First night arrived 3am because of Airplane difficulties and rerouted flight. Staff not friendly and put us in dungeon room 602. When I asked for better room, after 2 nights, I was given pleasant room on 7th with light and was better layout for next 4 nights. Had prepaid or would have moved. For $330 per night, this whole experience does not sit well. Will never stay there again and would not recommend. Usually better luck through Booking.com
Location. Good bed. Staff helpful
Ice machine broken. No fridge
Location and price were good.
Parking. I was charged $110 to park for a lil over 24hrs and I have a car they charged me a suv rate. Should upgrade parking for travelers that drive there. I came from Phoenix az.
Location, spacious and clean. Good value at the price paid.
They don't air condition the halls or the room before arrival, ice machine only on one floor and it was empty, no complementary in room Wi-Fi.
We felt comletely lost in this Hotel! The Personal was unfriendly and not at all helpful. There is no free access to internet. The fridge doesn't work, it is a lot of traffic noise, windows are hard to open, the doorman don't open the doors, we had to carry our luggage alone, the phones are damaged, so they ring suddenly in the night, and you can't here the messages - we can't recommand this hotel!
The location is good.
selected a deluxe room, bit more expensive but worth. was in one of the side Towers, good view, calm. space, clean. mattress and bed very good. bathroom design, with rain shower. good amenities set. felt home & safe.
Price (but it is nyc), wifi not included.
Location Comfortable for the price Helpful staff
No free wifi
Easy to get places. Nice accommodations. Plumbing lacked a bit, but otherwise very nice.
Toilet took 4 flushes to actually flush. Shower pressure very low.
Great place, wonderful location
Air conditioning was broken---once it became hot and humid it would make an awful noise and stop blowing. As soon as it was turned off for about an hour, it would work again for another half hour.
The location is right in the center of the city. Large room. Bathroom has good quality shampoos, body wash, etc....
Window does not have a blackout curtains Have to pay for WIFI (and expensive) while other hotels offer it for free. Bathroom door is in glass and hence if you want to take a shower, the companion will wake up
They were very welcoming upon arrival. The room was very clean Staff were very friendly. The room was big enough and the bathroom was fine. The location was excellent.
Unfortunately the air conditioner didnt work in the room and being summer it was very hot. It did get seen to but it wasnt fixed. We could have asked for another room but didnt want the hassle. This isn't really a big deal but thought I should mention it...
Place is perfect.
Furniture and bathroom materials were to bad and. Tv was very old. Refrigerator was not work. All parts of the building should be renoveited immediately.
The location was just incredible: we arrived in the evening, dropped off our bags and were able to walk just a few blocks to see Times Square and the Empire State Building at night. The room was also cleaned everyday to a good standard.
The staff were on the whole rather grumpy, and when we had a problem with our first room it wasn't dealt with immediately: we had to go back to reception again to request to change rooms. It was also very expensive, but that's to be expected for the location in midtown Manhattan.
The ice machines are scarce.
Room comfortable but carpet old and dirty. Front desk staff and room cleaner efficient and pleasant.
Breakfast arrangements are a shambles. The cost is too high for what you get and the service poor. The waiters are expected to do room service breakfast as well as dining room service resulting in the latter being hopeless. We had to wait outside the dining room for about ten minutes although there were ten or eleven vacant tables. The manageress was not friendly, efficient or helpful and made no apology for keeping people waiting.
The location is perfect
That I asked for a two double bed and they had few of them, although i had a deluxe room
