Great location, great views, helpful staff, large comfortable beds
teabags in room not replaced
Bathroom was clean and maid did a good job making the room.
Small room, heat did not work correctly, shower had no door or curtain, website pictures do not show true rooms
Overall had a good stay at this hotel. Can't really complain about much to be honest. Bed was really comfy. Very clean rooms. Enjoyed my stay
Only thing I can really say I didn't like was the noise from the heaters. Realy noisy during the night and found myself woken up 3 times in one night. Was moved rooms and this wasn't as bad.
Location, very good!
Prices offered of room, high! The guest's name was mistaken on the bill of Invoice when checking out.
Excelent lication and cleaning
Bed not comfortable, snd old carpets..
Kind of disappointed there wasn't complimentary coffee / tea in room. Not a major problem
$10 a day for WIFI is way too expensive.
Very handy 4 getting around only one problem a lot of noise due 2 traffic out side an on t road 2 t side of t hotel
Just t noise of t traffic out side
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The job of the housekeeping team can't be called cleaning. Towels and everything else full of hairs. Also all devices and the furniture is ancient and used. Go and invest more money to get anything decent. There's a good reason why the reception doesn't asked if one was satisfied.
location price for room updated bathroom
paying for wifi bed was extremely uncomfortable
location ..good bathrooms !
wi fi has to be paid !
The location of the hotel was ok, very close to the heart of nyc. The hotel was cheaper than most alternatives i checked in nyc but in terms of value for money it is probably not the best choice.
Staff could have been more helpful, the room style is fairly old, small tv and no wireless. The receptionists need to be more friendly and helpful.
Great location, clean and great bathroom
Small windows and noisy air conditioner
My room was Deluxe but I got bit by bug in the bed every night, so it was itchy and my body was swollen.
A lot of noise coming from the city even though the window is closed. Non-free WiFi
Liked that you could walk to Times Square, Central Park, Madison Square Garden.
Rooms are a bit outdated. Wifi should be included for the price. A kettle for tea and coffee in the room would be good. No safe in room for valuables.
the pictures are not real. the room has no natural light, the hotel was old and awfull
The location was the main factor.
Tiny room and bathroom. Loo roll holder under the sink! Poor cleanliness. Hair and fingernails. On the carpet. Ancient aircon unit rattling all night beneath mildew stained curtains.
Location was the only good thing.
First room was called a superior room... It was horrendous. Wall paper falling of walls, curtain were stained and damp, bathroom was extremely small. Very dated, sad looking room, smallest room I have ever stayed in. Staff in lobby were not professional at all. Doorman was just wandering around chatting across the lobby with the receptionist, leaning on the counter helping him self to the sweets. The receptionist was average. After complaining about our room she said we could up grade for £50 a night (our room was already charged at £239 a night) this made our 'upgrade' £289 a night plus tax. Even with the location I wouldn't expect this rate for this hotel I have stayed in New York before for a similar amount and the room were light, air, larger better facilities and the staff were much better at their job. Our upgraded room had a kettle however only had plug sockets on the floor... Not great having to make a tea I. The morning on the floor when you have just paid over £289 pound a night!! The jolly hotel need to seriously look at updating the hotel and training theie staff. If you do decide to stay here (which I am not recommending) don't stay in a room on any lower floor than 14. Even one of the staff that showed us to our second room said the rooms on the top floor are nicer!
Our room was deluxe which I heard is the more updated modern rooms. We had a flat screen, modern bathroom, big bed and spacious room.
The rest o the hotel was a bit out dated. The price is a bit much for what you get but the location is what you are really paying for.
Nothing at all
No wifi, no twin beds, poor service, really bad attention from the receptionists.
location and cleanliness. Very cuzy Hotel and fornitures in excelent conservation. Beaultiful Hotel.
Minibar and internet conectiin expensive. Conditioned air was not eorking properly.
Location, easy walk to broadway, shopping. Great restaurants and delis. Quiet, staff good except first night
First night arrived 3am because of Airplane difficulties and rerouted flight. Staff not friendly and put us in dungeon room 602. When I asked for better room, after 2 nights, I was given pleasant room on 7th with light and was better layout for next 4 nights. Had prepaid or would have moved. For $330 per night, this whole experience does not sit well. Will never stay there again and would not recommend. Usually better luck through Booking.com
