The river in the back was wonderful!
Thought the room was way overpriced
We stopped at lot of hotels on our fly drive holiday and this place was up with the best
Great value for the money! We will certainly be back. We really enjoyed the slower pace, local attractions, and friendly atmosphere.
Our riverside room wasn't as close to the river as some. In order to get back into our room, which didn't have a screened in patio, you had to walk back around to the front entrance of the room.
Everything shut down, vending, registration, by 11 at this location
Creekside view also the porch overlooking the creek
Room not very clean.Office needs to open earlier so that guest can get coffee in the morning. The coffeepot in the room looked nasty. Loud motorcycle patrons visiting with one another outside our room front door.
felt safe , clean and comfy nice pool for or all weather conditions under cover
Good clean room with king actual bed, not "headboard" nailed to the wall. Our room had a 2-person jacuzzi in it that was wonderful after hiking all day. Updated rooms with granite counter tops and wood floors. Creekside "community" deck with secluded chairs and swings. Each room had a porch light and 2 rocking chairs outside. I really liked it and will be going back there again.
We forgot out pillows and hotel pillows are just too flat and lumpy. The bed was a bit soft and we had trouble sleeping due to this.
Very nice place to stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone. A lot of cute fall decorations in preparation for Octoberfest next weekend. People are very friendly. Enjoyed having the sweet tea and lemon water in the lobby.
The price was excellent. The staff were great. The outside deck was peaceful. Very clean. Near the locations that I went to visit. Lovely town, down home friendly.
Down stairs room very loud. upstairs guest up at 4am walking showering. I could here the toilet flushing, the guest upstairs smoked and they were in and out slamming door to sit on deck to smoke. Down stairs room door opens up into parking lot. Motorcycle parked right at our door, cranking it up with loud muffler many times during my stay.
we truly enjoyed our stay. very relaxing and quite. we love creek behind the inn. we will plan to go again.
We've stayed at Jonathan Creek before, Maggie Valley is a great place to visit and Jonathan Creek is a great place to stay while there.
Great beds and fluffy pillows, a beautiful setting with a broad deck over a rushing creek in the back, and a beautiful glass-enclosed pool in front.
Cramped quarters Noisy bikers
Loved the new flooring, the wonderful creekside seating area, and the cleanliness of the rooms and grounds.
Wish they would consider putting mattress toppers on beds.
Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful!! Our 2nd stay there!! Was able to have a great birthday experience!! Close to BR Parkway! Saw Soco Falls and beautiful views! Weather around us was rainy, but we had partly cloudy skies, no rain!! Great service all around!!! Will keep trying to stay there while in Maggie Valley!!
The beautiful view in the back of the inn was spectacular. The inn was a true diamond in the rough.
The creek adn padio in the back. The jacucuzi and the indoor pool. i also liked the coffee adn sweet tea they have during the day. the rooms were clean
Loved the location, the comfort of the room, the outdoor hotub and watching the creek with my morning coffee. Lots of places to sit overlooking the creek. Very peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful smokey mountains.
Wish I could have had more time to stay. Everything was great. Tried to go for an evening swim in the indoor pool but the water was too cold for my liking, however, everything else was great. Went to the outdoor hotub instead and it made up for the cold pool.
the place was very clean and well maintained. the grounds were very pleasant. excellent value
the room was slightly small, as to what we were used to.
Staff were very friendly.
Bathroom too small.
had a screened room on creek wonderful. enjoyed that rooms were quite could not hear people at night. hot tub, grills, picnic areas. wonderful
Liked having a refrigerator Liked having a microwave Liked being able to open my window Liked hearing the creek Liked being near the creek Bed was comfortable Staff was friendly and helpful
Furnishings were sort of old Room was sort of dark
Johnathan Creek Inn was a very good value.
Every thing was great.
The room was updated and really nice. Nothing fancy, just very clean and charming. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to go.
