My mother brought me to this Inn when I was only about 7. We have been coming here since whenever we wanna ski/snowboard. There is no better place in Maggie Valley to stay!!! Staff is amazing, location is amazing. You couldn't ask for anything better!!!
Nothing, it was perfect!!
we liked everything about the place , it was clean well maintained and the staff was friendly , we would definitely stay again
we found nothing wrong
Staff was excellent! Beautiful views and great amenities! Perfect location for our trip!
We booked our stay here b/c of the great views online for the area..which was pretty nice. It is very close to the ski / tubing which was our purpose for our trip to Maggie Valley. Have to give the Joey's House of Pancakes and BIG A++++. they are located across from the Lodge... Waffles were pretty and delicious!
One of our complaints, there is no restaurants stay open after 10 pm in the area. We did find one Italian restaurant that was willing to serve us after 10 pm. We stayed at the ski lodge until closing at 10pm and hungry, and I know the ski lodge has food but they kinda closing up at 10pm. The shower was hard to turn on..had to pull the knob out but not easy to do and could of used some dusting. don't like shower curtains in motel rooms..wish they made some disposal ones that you use for your stay and throw away when you leave.
Nice location. The room was very comfortable, very clean. Will go again
These people know what they are doing. Clean, comfortable room. Beautiful setting.
hot tub-creek- pool- room nice-grounds nice
to much money for maggie valley
Loved how close the lodge was to the ski area, everyone was really friendly! We will definitely visit again :)
Could have been a more seamless check out if staff were educated on computer system; only one person knew how to really work computer system, and we spent an hour trying to reverse charges on my card for them to charge again. Overall stay was good, just the checkout that could be improved.
Cleanliness and location
Nice location and riverfront back yard
small room, not kitchen or breakfast
Beautiful mountain view and the sound of the creek was music to our ears.
Nothing will go again and again enjoyed my stay
Our stay at the inn was very nice. The room was very comfortable. We loved the creek. The weather was nice for November. Had plenty of time for hiking and sight seeing. The mountain was beautiful!
It seems that we picked the wrong time of year to visit Maggie Valley as most of the businesses were closed.
I love how friendly everyone was. They made sure to make your stay amazing. I love the sound of the creek outside it was very comforting and I enjoyed it. Glad we chose that place because a lot of other inns and hotels were very shady and scary looking on that street but this one was perfect.
I loved the hot tub but it was very hot so It took a while to get in. I wish the pool was heated a little more but it was still nice. I also wish they had breakfast but I'm glad they still had coffee and tea and most importantly for me hot chocolate! :)
Nice convenient location. Our room was well furnished, very clean and well cared for. The deck and shelter by the stream was very nice.
Nice location creek side was beautiful.
Was upset with bath room talk to owners said it would never happen again with out going in to detail . Very nice people
Clean beside creek, nice location
Room was way too small. Pictures posted made rooms appear larger. Could not spend a week here.
The views were beautiful.Although on a major road very quiet..Pancake house across street is a must try.
The bathroom grout close to walls needed a good scrub.Same for close to wall in room. But I admit that I am a clean freak so drove me crazy husband didnt even notice.
Loved the view from the back deck and covered pavilion. Beautiful fall colors with the creek running close by. Fall leaves one day...snow the next day. Rooms were clean (although small) and decorated nicely. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We would have stayed longer but the snow sent us running on Nov. 1st. The staff was super!
The hot tub was dirty and the next morning it looked like mold had run through.
Rooms are beautiful. Beds and furniture are comfortable.
If anything a better shower liner and a full sized coffee pot
The screened in porch that over looked the creek.
The tv picture was to small. They were setup incorrect.
The beds are very confortable. The hot tub and the pool are very nice !
Cozy rooms, beautiful creek veiw, and lovely staff
Lack of great restaurants to try. What is around is good, but it's not much.
Went to Maggie Valley to see Wheels Thru Time Museum and the wife & one adult son came along. Picked Jonathan Creek because few booking available at time. What a home run! After a recent bad experience using small local inns on a pa get away we found spotless, well maintained facilities with local charm and comfort. And a friendly staff. Last minute travel changes had us stay two nights and not just one. Next season I plan a cycle tour back to Maggie Valley and to run the near by Dragon and I will return.
The location of this motel was ideal for what we were planning. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the value was excellent.
It was a little disappointing that breakfast was not an option as the surrounding area is very much visitor driven and out of season a lot of places, including restaurants, are closed.
