Loved the pillows, staff very friendly, prompt, & well dressed. Loved the outside building, & decor felt very welcomed. Awesome!!!!, needed to rate it excellent sorry about that.
the elevators. too much wasted space in upstairs hall.
-Location -Old world charm -Staff friendliness, very helpful
-Badly needs upgrades -Mold in some of the bathrooms -Overall cleanliness
-Staff was polite -Location near central Bloomington
-out of date -A/C not functioning well, difficult to operate -workout/pool area not well air conditioned-very humid and warm
Staff and manager very kind, And visiable to us. Had a last minute issue and had to cancel a nite after the time frame and Yaw (staff member) was very kind and gave permission to cancel without penentily. Will defiantly stay there again.
Staff very nice and hotel was clean.
Bedding and pillows very uncomfortable.
The fitness center small
The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and easy to deal with. When asked for an extra blanket for our room, there was no hesitation and the blanket was delivered as promised.
They have to do away with the motion detection lights in the room. When you get up in the middle of the night, the whole room lights up and wakes up everyone in the room. I understand that some might like this, but we did not.
Quaint, Quiet, decent value
elevators very slow, and very few
The location and the Chateau it self. I love old thing and the Chateau remain me of a long time in history. It was a pleasure to stay there and will be bringing my whole family in the future.
Very uncomfortable bed and noisy air conditioner
Not having breakfast options. Pool hours should be extended.
The take out food was poor, the room phone didnt work
We stay there every year on our way to. & from our lake house michigan. We have done this for over 30 years. Easy access on & off highway & close to many restaurants, especially our favorite restaurant. Alexander's.
There was a dirty cleaning rag left in the tub by the maid & the room smelled bad. Normally we do not have thus problem.
The refrigerator was a God send, as we had a cooler full of cheese we were taking back to Tennessee. Thanks
Great place, but the room had some kind of motion detector that turned on the rooms bathroom and overhead light on pottie breaks at 2:30 AM. Very bothersome for those trying to sleep. Alarm clock on table had wrong time also.
I liked the ease of getting onto the trail for a morning walk. Maybe this should be posted in the workout room or other locations. People from out of the area would not even know it was there.
Although the room post signs about wishing to conserving water I saw no recycle containers for paper or soda cans anywhere. When I ask about recycling the newspaper the person at the front desk said no.
great location. friendly staff.
toliet ran all night.
We do not know how anyone could give this place a bad review. The staff was great. The hotel was awesome. The rooms are comfortable. We ate at Toni Roma’s which is attached to the hotel and it was fantastic. It had great character throughout, and in an excellent location.
That we didn't have more time to spend.
Very clean, comfortable beds, nice pool
Wifi was spotty.
Could hear TV next door, shower, conversations, etc. Paper-thin walls.
The staff at the front dress was very welcoming and friendly - that sets the tone. The foyer is very large and well appointed. Did not hear anything from anywhere else once in our room. Cannot beat the price!
The carpeting in our room felt a bit old? But really, I'm reaching for a problem here!
I liked the old hotel charm and the clean updated rooms. Nice to have Tony Roma's too. We will stay again .
A little run down in areas.
It was very clean and all the staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were a good size and the pool area was nice. It was unique and had so many interesting antiques to look at! It was in a great location with lots of restaurants nearby.
There really wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay!
Roomy, clean, nice facilites. I booked on line and was really surprised.
The fountain in the courtyard is cheesy, but really makes one smile after a long day on the road. Staff very helpful. Attached restaurant a little pricey but excellent food
