We all had a great time. Queen size bed in room with own bath. Super service when had to change reservation date. We got different accommodations for same rate. June was very entertaining. Housie has a great view.

The road construction out of town to Junees. Temporary sure it is resolved by now.

Welcomed us with a smile and a glass of wine. And some lovely history of AK.

    Could have been cleaner.

The Alaskan ambiance, the warm welcome, June's stories. She is a friendly, bubbly 86 year old woman who does all the work in this B&B. She asked to go along with us one night when we went out for dinner, then showed us some fantastic views of Homer that few people ever see. (She paid for her own dinner and was delightful). Her log home is old Alaskan and her fantastic stories are true. The place could use some work and is for sale. Rooms were clean enough, bathrooms were ok.

As an 86 year old woman, June does the best she can, but her kitchen is filthy. Just do not eat her breakfast or drink the bottled water that has already been opened and probably refilled. Charred bacon, burned pancakes, orange juice that was NOT orange juice. But just think, could YOU operate a B&B when you are 86??

Junees is like walking into a time museum. She has eskimo native art and museum quality articles of the past. She was a resident of nome ak and can spin a tale if you have the time to sit and listen. If you plan on visiting go quickly as she will be moving to seattle She has a beautiful home..

June was friendly and helpful if forgetful. The views were amazing.

It was quite a way out of town with no signage except a b&b sign on the house which is off the road. The bathroom and floors were dirty. The towels were old. Breakfast was bacon and burnt sourdough pancakes- nothing else.

Ms. June is quite a character! Full of interesting stories, so be sure to make time to spend with her listening to her history. The house us full of interesting things with a story behind each.

If you're a clean freak, you may have issues. ( but she's 86 and managing it on her own).

beautiful house, lovely view had great possiblities if owner was able to keep it up. She reports it is in the process of being sold

Charged us more than was quoted, the place was dirty, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom towels were used, Junee is having memory issues and appears unable to take care of the place. She is in serious need of help.

June is a very interesting, lively, generous, and nice person. The B&B has a great Alaskan feel and is very homey with unique and interesting decor--a memorable place.

Common areas are not the cleanest. Tiny space heater in a cold bedroom which you can't leave on because of the noise as the fan cycles on and off every two minutes or so.

June has a lot of character and if you have time she tells wonderful stories. Her house is very charming and she serves up a delicious breakfast in the morning.

If you stay in the loft in the main house it can be a bit loud in the morning, as she wakes up quite early.

Junee's was a lovely place just a charming b & b. with much atmosphere, the food was good and Junee is a delightful hostess with wonderful stories to tell of Alaska. It was also beyond clean, which to me is important.

The other tenant on our floor locked us out both nights, and we had to go upstairs where the door is always open.

Beautiful views, log home, decks. We were scheduled for a halibut fishing charter and even though it was too early for breakfast June was gracious enough to get up and make us coffee.

Bathroom not cleaned, dust bunnies, expensive. Upstairs room with low ceilings was uncomfortable for my two six feet plus guys. Would not recommend if you plan an early morning departure as there is no breakfast provided.

June is a real character and serves Alaskan breakfasts. The B&B is out in the country so it is very quiet.

It is out of town, so it is a drive. Nothing is in walking distance.

The view was lovely. The beds were fine.

The bathroom was not clean, nor was the kitchen. We were charged $25/night per child, not $15/night as stated on the website, and June said that was just the way it was. We would not choose this facility again, nor would we recommend it to anyone.

Great view of mountains and bay.

Need help with having towels available and general clean. We did not have a breakfast and were concerned about the kitchen cleanliness. Some maintenance needed on the decks.
