Cool place, nice to have live music.

but a little expensive and noisy on weekend nights. Would've been nice to have a mini-fridge.

Very cool design, patio, comfortable room. Love the location for the price. Love the bar

A little loud due to it also being a concert venue, actually it was just some of the concert goers that were loud.

    Fun location, vibrant bar.

I paid for parking, but when I returned from being out late there were no spots available. The hotel should not charge for more spots then it can accommodate!

Love the Doug Fur Lounge and bar! Cool atmosphere and the staff was great! The rooms were small but comfortable and clean!

Walls seemed thin along with the windows. We would hear everything going on outside and did not sleep very well. **We were warned by the staff that our room was right next to the bar and we would hear noise until about 0230.** prob better place for single people then couples.

The Staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were stylish and fun. The hotel has a resturant and club venue and I must say that the noise level stayed under control. Central location, my friend and I were able to walk to DT Portland in 20 minutes. The Doug Fir lounge has great food and drinks. I am in my late 30's and would reccomend this hotel to anyone especially if you are a lover of vintage and mid-century modern.

    No complaints here!

The look of the decor and concept was great...

Location Hip feel Close to good food/Bars Friendly Staff

Loud until 3AM every night... people talking outside our room. Directly over a concert hall so if there's a show, you'll hear it. Industrial carpet floor. Bed Smelled like dog.

hip and fun! Loved that there were condoms and ear plugs in the room, no bible, and a copy of the Four Agreements instead! The chalkboard painted door was a lot of fun too.

The location is good. The restaurant is nice.

Even the so called quiet rooms are noisy. We could hear people talking outside. The footsteps of people upstairs were incredibly loud. The carpet feels weird and dirty.

    The staff is very nice.

Really noisy. Walls are paper thin even on the "quiet side". You can hear everything from outside and other rooms.

Lots of great clubs and restaurants nearby. Easy to reach on Max from airport. Very hip spot with fun music venue attached. Caters to young clubbing crowd in a nice way, but non clubbing crowd may find it too much fun.

The proximity to all of the sights and sounds that Portland has to offer. Everything is a walking distance from the nearest dining locations and coffee shop to downtown which is about a good 20 minute walk away from the hotel. Parking is available for $10/day, a 50% off compared to any hotels downtown. I also like Jared, who is one of the friendly, helpful and wonderful staff, who will assist you on all the different places of interest around the neighborhood. I will consider staying in this hotel again for my next visit in Portland.

This is a popular place acting both as a hotel and a social venue. We were there when there was a corporate party and the noise becomes a bit problematic even though we are already staying on the quiet side of the hotel. Thank goodness the party only lasted until ten and after that it was back to the peaceful condition once more. So something to consider.

The chalk board doors were a really funky twist! The staff were all super friendly and keen to help out, pointing out keys things to do and see in Portland and places to eat etc. the location was really good, close to town but still surrounded by funky shops

Only two things let down our awesome stay at the Jupiter hotel. 1) the air conditioning was very noisy, which did interrupt our sleep 2) the shower lacked power
