The Back Bay Hotel was the perfect choice for our long weekend in Boston. It has a boutique feel without the high cost. Though not spacious, the beautifully decorated room was elegant in every detail including luxurious bathrobes, heated towel bars, a small refrig, flat screen TV, wireless, etc. The hotel's restaurant is very good, especially the lobster frittata for breakfast. The entire staff including room service, concierge, valet were all courteous and eager to help us. Shopping on Newbury Street is 3 blocks away and the excellent restaurants in the area were nice additions to our experience. Overall we had lovely stay and will definitely make this our hotel in Boston. Would like to have had a coffee machine in our room. |

Staff were excellent, the bar very nice with good food and a great selection of wine/beer. We got a very good price when booking this hotel which made it even better. |

The staff were very hospitable, the free wi-fi and bottles of water in the rooms was great particularly as many hotels charge extra for these items. The hotel also sent us some sparkling wine and chocolates to our room on learning that we were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary - a nice touch. We booked a deluxe king room, however the hotel allocated us a superior room. We were changed to the correct room on the second night and given a complmentary breakfast, however the breakfast was added to the bill and I had to ask for it to be taken off. Whilst all these issues were sorted out without hesitation it did take the edge off what was otherwise an excellent stay. |

Comfortable, although small, room. The staff friendly and helpful. Back bay area is a good one for walking tours and places of historical interest. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Considerable street noise -traffic and loud late crowd across the street, AC seems somewhat ineffective. |

Outstanding service levels in all areas, with comfortable well appointed and equipped bedroom. Business centre would benefit from additional internet access points (only two presently) |

Staff was so very nice and friendly. Our room was so comfortable. We enjoyed the exresso coffee maker in the room (very nice touch). We had a refrigerator in the room with water every day. Heated towels were great. Bed was so comfortable with plenty of pillows. We had a great time. Some reviews I read were good. I can say nothing bad about this fabulous place. |

Felt like a small hotel, rather than the huge impersonal ones that are around. |

After a busy day, you are looking forward going back to this soothing hotel. Rooms are comfortable, the people kind and the location perfect. The bar is noisy when there are many people, but as soon as you are 10 meters away, you hardly hear anything. |

The location is good The bedroom was small and impractical - no bedside table on the one side of the queen bed therefore no light. The light on the other side was so tall that one had to get out of bed to switch it off. We found the staff rather robotic so we cant say it was the best experience we had. |

The staff were efficient and polite and the room was both comfortable and clean. There is no mini-bar in the room and therefore, if you are working in your room, you either have to call room service (long wait) or venture to the public bar downstairs. |
