The staff, some were a bit pretentious but the majority were great.
The pretentious staff
Location and gym.
Too many knocks on the door. Hole in the bedsheet and pencil marks on the bathroom walk where construction had been done.
Superb location and friendly staff
Lovely room, good bathroom
No free internet Noise from the train
I like the central location, friendly / helpful staff and the spacious rooms.
It is not possible to open the windows in the rooms and the air conditioning is not enough to clean the air in the room. After a while the room gets really stuffy. The pool was very cold; both the water and the area. The breakfast is quite expensive, but delicious.
Our room was next to a train station and it was loud! :(
Location, hotel room, staff, fitness center.
It may have been part of the booking.com deal but there was no free wifi. The breakfast selection was pretty average compared to other hotels I ha e stayed in.
The pool was not maintained correctly. Too much chlorine.
Lobby, staff, great room. Good nights sleep.
Nothing at all.
Loved everything was just a short cab ride away. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff was top-notch.
Staff was very polite and helpful. We forgot a packn play and they ran one upto us and set it up as well as provided a refrigerator for us to keep kids items cold, all complimentary! Excellent place as well for location to park and shopping.
spacious corner room, very accommodating and courteous, quick check-in, wonderful place to stay.
had to leave so soon
Staff are very freindly and helpful. They are doing a great job.
The fact that wifi is not available in the rooms.
Room not cleaned well
No free wifi in the room
Front lobby was gorgeous, workout facilities were nice, Comfy bed. Close to a lot of the main attractions. Water taxi, Willis tower and Union Station are all just up the road for easy travel. So great location
Staff did not help us with our bags, house keeping came into our room at 9 woke us up , even though we had the do not disturb sign up. There is a spa but it is not included into your hotel room price.
A great hotel in a great location. The room was superb, and was a great base for our one night in Chicago.
Location Nice bathroom
The room was way too far from elevator -for the money the room was very average
We appreciated the very friendly staff and beautiful décor. After we checked out, they kept our bags while we explored the city.
With the high room prices, the internet should have been free.
Perfect location. Huge bathroom! Very quiet room.
This was the second time we stayed at the JW Marriott. We really like the cleanliness, the courteous and helpful staff, and the location.
Room was always clean, despite leaving the room late morning a couple of days. Catching a cab in front of the hotel was a breeze. Location was great for walking around downtown. Room was very quiet.
Very nice hotel overall, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located.
The first room they gave us was extremely dusty, like they hadn't cleaned it in months! We had to ask to be moved to a new room and this time the room was very clean. They should make things a little more clear. Their website and flyers and information sheets in the room say that the fitness center is open 24h, but they don't specify that the pool and hot tub in the fitness center are open only 6am-11pm. We wanted to use the hot tub at 11:15pm and found out together with another couple that we couldn't because it was too late. Also their SPA did not have any manicure/pedicure technician working on a Saturday for the entire day. I understand these are details, but for a 5 stars hotel and for the cost of the room they should do better! Also, when you book a room keep in consideration that, if you have your car with you, you will have to pay $60 per day for parking, which I think is ridiculous!
I wish they would provide free internet service.
