Cold showers. Woke the first morning to a cold shower. Let the water run for approximately 10 minutes, but it didn't get better so I got in and rushed through a cold shower. After speaking to the front desk I was asked to wake a half hour earlier and let the water run longer and that I was on the opposite end of the hotel from the water heaters. Doesn't a hotel like this have circulation pumps?
terrible room view of metal roofs .Very old used decor. Felt like a nursing home Food was bad and service very slow
The bed was very small and to uncomfortable for 2 people. The rooms were also quite small for the cost.
The pool, the size of the hotel and variety of food.
Food was not that great but very expensive. Our room was not commensurate with the cost of the room per night. It was like staying in a 3 star hotel Staff should smile more. Most of them were not friendly. RACIST maybe?
Very wonderful place and comfortable
Golf tournament drunks.
Loved the atmosphere and restaurant choices. Especially liked the patio lounging area with servers overlooking the fountain and hill country!
That my key did not work and I had to go back to fro t desk to correct and then the next day the maid had locked me out of my bathroom and some e had to co e open the door.
The swimming pools and the breakfast food
The only bad thing that we experienced was that our luggage was delivered to the wrong room after we had arrived. We arrived at about 10 pm. After waiting for 90 min for the luggage, we called the front desk who then had to track down our luggage. We finally received our luggage a little after midnight. We were starving after being on the road all day, and of course all of the restaurants had closed by this point, The hotel staff provided us with a delicious and complimentary room service meal.
The hotel and amenities were very nice. The pool area was awesome (even in the middle of the winter). Every view from the hotel was beautiful. We wish we had stayed longer and would definitely stay again.
Beautiful setting and grounds
Made reservations for my Girlfriend and I to stay there on Valentine's Day.. Got the confirmation with Visa card I hadto do before hand. I get there that day and they had gave my room away. Never had this happen before. Ruined my entire Valentines Day. Gave me a voucher instead to stay at the Marriott downtown. Horrible experience.
For a high end hotel I thought the water pressure in the shower was poor.......small thing and hard to fix - just input for the folks who design these facilities.
The facility is a great place to hold meetings/conferences, a lot of options and great amenities.
AC wasn't consistent in the rooms, it was quite warm at night.
All the food was excellent! Very courteous staff. It was a nice getaway for us, just for the weekend.
Restaurant choices. All expensive.
Size and amenities of property.
Such beautiful surroundings inside and out!!! Nice, helpful staff. Great restaurants! Relaxing!! Fireplaces and gathering areas all around the property.
Booking.com price is not representative of what your price will actually be after substantial taxes and "convenience fees" are attached. Our room went from $199 per night to $426. Also, no prices on drink options. One shot of "premium" tequila cost me $32.00. (Cuervo 1942). Price was not an issue. If I was a penny pincher, a stay at JW Marriott wouldn't be an option. Fairness and being upfront is an issue for me and I think neither was provided. This might be a no issue for the business traveler or whales, but those of us that make a very good living, it isn't prudent to opting in on $32 tequila shots. If I knew, I would have opted for something more reasonable. BTW, no one asked me where they should mail my new José Cuervo stock shares.
Facilities are great as is the staff.
Only thing not great was the hallway noise. Could hear everything
Staff and facilities.
the sports bar, the lobby, the grounds, the spa
Didnt make my room, at night when i arrived to my room it was undone, didnt like it.
It was hard to get service anywhere at the hotel. There was a massive disconnect between the price and staffing levels. The 'poolside service' is a bar I queued at for half an hour to get an unpleasant drink and a choice of 4 sandwiches. Loud music everywhere.
the room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable.
The sofa bed in king room small very uncomfortable for the kids. We could feel the springs. Rooms are small, not much counter space in bathroom. Resort said they charge extra $80 for tiny balcony with 2 chairs (to make us "feel" like we were getting an upgrade by not charging us that...really?? Extra $80 for ridiculous tiny balcony...we didn't sit out there anyway and it was "free" for us during this visit! Also, we paid our bill In Full before we left and got another bill for extra $38 anyway....really!!?? (Still settling that one!!)
I liked that our king bed was new. The Waterpark was fun. The food at Cibola Moon was delicious and buffet had good variety, food tasted homemade. Service wS excellent, prices reasonable.
Would have liked more restaurants so they wait time would not be so long.
This is a resort atmosphere but no kitchenette. Area where the movie is too small.
Everyone on staff worked together as a team. Enjoyed the lazy pool with my family and the movie in the evenings.
Food can be of better quality and service was somewhat slow
Facilities and welcome
I had 2 rooms and was spending over 500 a day at this resort and they were letting people in the pool that did not have rooms and it was so crowded we could not even get a place to put our things to enjoy the amenities we were paying for. Very frustrating and took away what could have been a pleasant weekend. Shame on them for not having a better system in place to allow for the paying guests to utilize the amenities.
Staff was friendly Lots of amenities for a price Good good great views
We booked a room with 2 double beds and were told we could only get a king with a fold out couch...very disappointed since we were there for special birthday celebrations.
Rooms were very nice and clean, beautiful amenities
