The decor and the lifts of the hotel. The sofa bed in the 'Junior Suite' ...how can two adults sleep on that. False advertising using different pictures on booking.com. When we asked for availability for two double beds staff told us we should go on the website to check the rooms as they could not show us this. The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I have never never stayed in a hotel where they cant show you the rooms you want to upgrade to.

A very nice place perfectly located in the center of S.Francisco. Transportation is very convinient, including Airport transfer - just 10 min from BART (local Subway) Powell station, directly connecting location with SFO (35 min to Terminal 3). Employees are very friendly, ready to help even in non-standard situations.Hotel is superb in terms of design, rooms are big and comfortable.A bit costly place, but if you like comfort - choose it. 15 minutes nearby is, let me put it softly, not a very nice area with not-always-friendly guys (favela-style). If not visiting it - everething is OK, despite there is no really serious personal security threats (I passed through it with no problem).

We loved the lay out of the building and how everything fitted in with each other I think the roof Terence should be open to all guests of the hotel and should be made into a restaurant and sell the idea to the guests to use it and you could put the prices up because ov the view you have of the city

Awesome bed/pillows Location Roominess Aesthetic No outside sink/mirror from bathroom makes it difficult for four people to get ready in a short time. Weird pipe where shower used to be (now separate tub and shower) sprays water when running bath. That plus no sower curtain around tub means strategic placement of items you don't want to get wet and having to waste towels so that you're not spending time cleaning up. Solo sink. No fridge.

Good hotel with excellent location. A bit pricey, but hey, this is San Francisco! 1) Morning cleaners are a bit annoying: they come around 10 am do not hear "hey I'm fine please don't come" 2) concierge staff is overall helpful but missed to wake me at the morning when I asked too 3) paid internet in the room was disappointing

Location is great. In-house restaurant is very good. Concierge is very helpful. The room is clean. Love how the coffee accouterments are easy and clearly sanitary. No microwave. No door to the toilet stall. The room itself is very roomy, and would have liked a table, chairs near the window end. A shuttle to and from SFO would be nice.

Size of room, size of bathroom, large bathroom counter, great view, nice lobby/lounge. For only one night, this hotel struggled to execute. It was Chinese New Year weekend - still not an excuse. For one night, two rooms, you should have been able to nail our requests. We booked two rooms next to each other. On checkin, we asked for a fridge and ice for one of the rooms. Neither were brought despite multiple calls (like, over 4 calls). Before leaving the room for the evening, both rooms called to request the pullout beds be made up, and an extra set of towels. (About 6:30 pm) Only one room got the bed made up with the extra towels. The other room got the regular bed turndown service, and finally some ice. Still missing the pullout makeup and extra towels. Luckily we made a pit stop at the hotel room before going back out again and saw this (10 pm). So we called down to ask for both. The other room was still waiting on its fridge and ice, so we called down a couple more times and finally got the fridge and ice. You can imagine how much we decided to tip them. The room itself is definitely showing its age. Bed is comfortable, but furniture, and particularly the bathroom, are dated. The bathroom has a huge counter and only one sync, the water pressure was very poor (like nonexistent), everything is old-fashioned pink ceramic or pink-tone marble. Bathroom definitely needs updating and I recommend the rooms get restructured if they ever get the money because the junior suites we were in made the rooms small, wasted hall space, and put all the extra space in the bathrooms. There are definitely better possible designs to maximize the space and make it functional and enjoyable.

Central location easy access to all parts of city. Paid for Junior suite, wasn't much bigger than regular room, just a better bathroom. I wish Booking could include the extra fees that are all to common these days, my "low price" got significantly higher with outrageous parking fee and other assorted fees.

good location, nice view. the room that we booked and paid for was not what we received. We were looking for accomodations for 4 people so booked a junior suite with a king and a pull out sofa. When we checked into our room there was no pull out sofa so only accomodated 2 people! We paid over $400 for this and did not get what we booked.

The hotel location is very good for shopping. It's also very convinient for going tourist spot. wifi in public area is almost dead caz where it's free of charge, which force you to pay money to log on it in the room. wifi in the room is very fast.

The room facility and city view are great. It cost me 100 dollars for parking, and charged my credit card without any notification of the parking fee. When I asked about this, the attitude of the manager was terrible. How can they earn money like this? Poor.
