This was a beautiful resort with the most lovely people. They gave a few discounts for dinner and a free breakfast which was handy! They have different activities everyday (we did Lei making and it was a lot of fun!) music every night, so close to a great beach and other hotels.
Trying to find something gluten free (coeliac) was. A little difficult.
great room, clean nice pool,on the beach
price of room, maui way overpriced, won't be back to maui, got room in waikiki for one third the price ,nicer hotel with hot tub and new fitness room
Location was great
Staff wasn't helpful
Friendly and accommodaing to our needs
Location was close to the action on Ka'anapali Beach. Staff was very helpful and very friendly.
We were on the second floor and people were smoking on their lanai. Spoiled being outside on our lanai or even having our sliding door open.
Good location..decent price..Some staff members
Other staff members were not so accommodating..they charged me extra charges twice..told me it was a mistake and refunded but had to wait days for refund..they did nothing to make up for it
So many activities and entertainment available at hotel. Beach access. Ease of scheduling outside activities. The welcome breakfast was very informative and listening to the ocean at night.
Location is right on the beach Nice pool and other outdoor facilities Covered Parking Comfortable beds
Chairs in the room are uncomfortable Pillows are flat TV is small no elevator in our building no wi fi in the room
Location, friendly staff, nice view from the room, value
We enjoyed the evening music and hula show. Also the wonderful beach.
Very poor wifi service.
Great location metres from the beach. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast overpriced. Staff not as friendly as other hotels in maui.
hotel really needs renovation
The hotel is quite close to the nice white sand beach. And there is a quiet garden with a lot casual chairs you could lie down under the sun amid shading trees and blossoming flowers. And you can run and walk along the beach. I liked the place very much and recommend it.
View from private patio even on cheapest room rate, close to black rock for excellent snorkeling, nightly entertainment,
Dining options were quite expensive, bathroom a little small
the grounds were nice< the onsite entertainment and food were good
The room reaked of mildew and the thatched flooring was stained the tyle floors in bathroom were stained, no tub, if we were staying more than 1 night before leaving Maui I would of asked for a complete refund.
Location, quiteness, staff, restaurant
Have stayed at KBH 4 times...will return for number 5
Low price Location Brunch was good
Room smelled like mildew (got moved and 2nd room also smelled like mildew) Scratchy bedding Beach towels provided were not very good
the setting and the ground
no free wifi in the room
Jenny at the front desk was very helpful while helping me get out of the rest of my reservation.
Everything else. The place was moldy, smelled super strongly of mildew, out dated, old, dingy, beds were super uncomfortable, I have nothing good to say about this place other than the front desk staff.
This resort area has a lot to do and the staff is very happy and helpful. We would like to bring our family here in the future. We tried to experience the Hawaiian culture and enjoyed watching the youth Hula competition, an added plus for our stay.
When we arrived we were allocated a king garden room on the dark side of the hotel. We asked if there was another room available and the hotel were happy to offer us an Ocean view Queen room at the same price. A great option as we watched the sunset every evening from our balcony
The complimentary breakfast on our first morning. Very stodgy, not a good advertisement for wanting to eat in the hotel
- Just across from the beach - Spacious Room - Nice gardens with areas to relax - Walking distance to shops & snorkelling
- Food wasn't very good - Needs a face lift - No internet in the room
The people are amazing at the hotel from check in to check out.
The price was a bit too expensive for the hotel room the Sunday brunch was way too expensive as well.
Location Goodbye ceremony Band was good-- should start later and/or play longer
The mustiness of the room was awful. Lack of personnel at beach. Bar not properly staffed. No WiFi. Everything was extra Cost. Cost of nightly parking Needs to be updated. Hotel has no beach area
