Location, quiteness, staff, restaurant
Have stayed at KBH 4 times...will return for number 5
Low price Location Brunch was good
Room smelled like mildew (got moved and 2nd room also smelled like mildew) Scratchy bedding Beach towels provided were not very good
the setting and the ground
no free wifi in the room
Jenny at the front desk was very helpful while helping me get out of the rest of my reservation.
Everything else. The place was moldy, smelled super strongly of mildew, out dated, old, dingy, beds were super uncomfortable, I have nothing good to say about this place other than the front desk staff.
This resort area has a lot to do and the staff is very happy and helpful. We would like to bring our family here in the future. We tried to experience the Hawaiian culture and enjoyed watching the youth Hula competition, an added plus for our stay.
When we arrived we were allocated a king garden room on the dark side of the hotel. We asked if there was another room available and the hotel were happy to offer us an Ocean view Queen room at the same price. A great option as we watched the sunset every evening from our balcony
The complimentary breakfast on our first morning. Very stodgy, not a good advertisement for wanting to eat in the hotel
- Just across from the beach - Spacious Room - Nice gardens with areas to relax - Walking distance to shops & snorkelling
- Food wasn't very good - Needs a face lift - No internet in the room
The people are amazing at the hotel from check in to check out.
The price was a bit too expensive for the hotel room the Sunday brunch was way too expensive as well.
Location Goodbye ceremony Band was good-- should start later and/or play longer
The mustiness of the room was awful. Lack of personnel at beach. Bar not properly staffed. No WiFi. Everything was extra Cost. Cost of nightly parking Needs to be updated. Hotel has no beach area
This is great place to stay! The staff is great and it is just minutes away from Lahaina's Center Street. Also, the resort has a nice restaurant and tiki bar and a couple of great gift shops. I totally recommend this resort and would most definitely stay here again during my next trip to Lahaina. :)
From the moment we were greeted our "Ka'anapali experience" began. Friendly smiling faces, room decor superb. Tiki Grill (good prices), nightly entertainment, shade for respite from beach or pool swimming. Sharing our time with our adult children, Ka'anapali Beach Hotel will remain a lasting memory. THANK YOU ALL
The hotel is right off the beach and close to shopping and eating places. Akways had activities
After having stayed at a resort with all the amenities, we had to remind ourselves that this was a hotel and not a resort like the Kaanipali Beach Club resort. Still, it was nice.
Good value and location
If you look at the bathroom by the entry to the shower, you will notice that the grouting is dark and appears that it is molding. Also, the menu for breakfast buffet was very limited for the price.
Location - staff - evening presentations - breakfast
distance from Black rock
Housekeeping very poor
Lovely gardens with native Hawaiian trees, and easy access to Kaanapali Beach. Nightly Hawaiian entertainment as well as excellent bar and restaurant, with some traditional food choices. Older style hotel but well maintained.
Could have more breakfast choices with variety of cooked eggs as well as traditional yoghourts.
The rooms were clean
The staff member who was assigned to my room pushed her way into my room the last 2 days I was there after I told her I did not need her, at one point she was all the way by the first bed.
Hammocks in the garden and plate lunches at the Tiki Grill would be great, we enjoyed the music and hula in the evening very much and the cultural classes and displays.
Can't think of a thing.
Location, amenities and very friendly helpful staff.
Bathrooms are a little dated.
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, and we will return. The staff is great - the "most Hawaiian" hotel label lives up to the billing. The staff member who taught the lei-making class is a wonderful lady. The location is ideal!
Fantastic location on beach, great choice of recreational activities , very friendly staff
Room very clean and staff was excellent in friendliness and helpful.
Hotel felt very tired and needs updating. Front sign needs to be painted! No internet in rooms and so slow in court yard couldn't get page to even load.
Great beach front location
Everything, including the entertainment, beachfront walkways and shuttle bus service to Lahaina.
