$100 was too much for a very small room; sliding screen door off tracks; Charged us for "shuttle" to & from PLD. $48 for 3 people. Still pending but it's on my credit card. I do not like that. We paid cash for the drive there & back. We didn't use the shuttle for the drive back. Breakfast was mediocre: sausage gravy didn't taste good & waffle iron didn't work.
Thought we liked proximity to Power & Light District but location is isolated--didn't feel safe. And strong outdoor odor. Staff was friendly.
garbage in our room from previous guests; when reported they didnt even offer to remove it..instead they said "thanks!" we were refused when asked for water which is a "perk" for choice privilige members!
price and location were fine
Bathroom was ran Crakes in tile floor. No hot water Fridge didn't work Side door to hotel wouldn lock so anyone could just walk on in. Not safe at all. Made me feel like I was in a motel 8
Staff was nice
Stayed here for a Royals World Series game. Very reasonable rates, shuttle service, good breakfast and very helpful personable staff !!
TV does not get CBS or NBC.A train goes by constantly, there is road noise for some rooms, and blasting during the day nearby. Windows were dirty and screen fell off the patio door. Halls had an odd odor, ditto stairwells. Laundry area dirty and most expensive I have seen. Front desk charges $1 for box of soap - many give them to you.
Staff tried to give me a quiet room - opened on the interior courtyard pool area. Room seemed clean. Breakfast was good and in a large area with a nice view. Had a laundry.
It is close to a railroad yard. I was awakend several times through the night by train noise
The room was clean, breakfast was good. Location was close to the attraction we were going to
Location was too far from the main road. Didn't really feel safe
Swimming pool wasn't open.
It is tucked away from all the traffic and other stuff. Pretty quite. A full breakfast bar.
The grass needed cut and weeds were knee high in places. We were told at check in the pool was just closed but no reason. That was one reason we changed to stay at your Quality Inn. It was difficult to sleep because cigarette smoke was coming into our room from somewhere.
Breakfast was the best we've had. Air conditioning was working top notch. Check in was done well and fast. The pillows and bed were very comfortable.
The fact that the employees seem like they dont know what they are doing. Overcharging a guest and not doing their job like they are suppose to. At first I got four different kind of charges from thw hotel and two were different and two were the same amount. Nonetheless I stayed for one night and got charged for two nights. Till present still waiting on my refund and employees say the manager will call and never does. They all need to get fired and rehire someone who will do their job. You got to keep calling in order to get your refund back and I still havent seen heard or anything being done and its been almost a month. Seriously someone needs to take over. Never in my life will I stay or recommend that place ever!
value for price.
the smell, the construction, the dirty carpet,
close to business engagement
Under Renovation Had to change rooms three times
Breakfast was fine
The ac air did not work, pool did not work, had a non smokeing room that had a ash tray in it and smelt bad, bad service all around, would never ask anyone to go there. Verry verry bad is alli can say..
Some of the staff were in casual day wear, no name badges or at least matching shirts. The smell of cleaning supplies overwhelmed the hotel.
The staff was nice. The complementary breakfast had a good selection. It was clean and had a nice feel to it.
We didnt mind ovrlooking the messes from the remodeling and construction, but all the other areas not by allm that was much in dire need for cleaning. The carpets in hallway and bedroom was horribly nasty an dirty. Can tell no vacuum has ran across it in awile, the bed sheets were kind of gross wth stains of bood on them and the tub was dirty and stained. Te walls under the bathroom sink was thilthy, can tell something was spilled and splattered and it wasn't wiped up! The breakfast had a god variety, but the coffee had a horrible taste to it and we are far from picky as long as we ave coffee in the am, th cereal dispenserwa broken, the juice an ilk wee nt cold at all. Cant drink warm milk.
The building is big and beautiful once remodeling is all complete. The staff very friendly and inviting.
I just happened to call on our way to KC....they didn't even have my registration from Booking.com....luckily they had vacancies and I showed them my printout of reservation and secured rate anyway. There was an awful stench in the area that permeated through the hotel. The pool was closed for 'welding' bars of the fencing around pool area...in the middle of summer...wth? Staff was uninterested...outside doors were filthy, we were never offered fresh towels. Room keys hardly worked...we were busy and on a tight schedule so no time to complain!
Un clean room. Wet washcloths in shower with used soap. Shower floor was chipping. Room was musty and smelled. Sheets looked dirty and had hair on them. Carpet was dirty, no tv remote and tv channels that actually came in were all fuzzy. The microwave did not work and ironing board was broken. Keys didn't work 1/2 the time to get into the building and we had to walk all around the building to get in.
