I didnt like the heavy disco sound right next to our bedroom (it Was saturday night though).
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, avoid like the plague! First impressions of reception were OK but as soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I was hit by an overwhelming smell of cigarettes and weed. Venturing into my room, the smell changed to stale urine. My feet stuck to the carpet which clearly has not been replaced in my lifetime, the room looks like it has not been decorated since the 50s and the whole place just had a grimy feeling. My attempts at opening the window for some relief from the stench proved futile as it was already off it's hinges. If it wasn't for the fact I was starting a tour from this hotel very early the next day, I would have swallowed the loss of the £70 it had cost to stay here (absolute rip off) and transferred to a different hotel. Instead, I went out for as long as possible and as the bed cover actually looked urine stained, slept wrapped in my sleeping bag to avoid almost certain contamination. The whole place needs to be gutted and fumigated - I have no idea how this passes any kind of inspection.
Very friendly very helpful staff . Best hotel I have stayed in for how great the staff were . Nothing was ever to much trouble
To be fair it was the cheapest in the area . My sink was broke and never worked and the room had a musty smell about it . This area is not for tourists . I went out at night and got followed at a very strange guy . In the uk I would confront the guy but he scared the he'll out of me . He only weighed about 8 stone which lead me to believe he would not try and rob me without a weapon .I felt like I could sense he was desperate for drugs. Even the way the guy moved as out of the norm .
Reasonable price, covenient to my work, pretty comfortable
Too noisy on street, could have better shades to keep out light, we need it really dark.
Stove and fridge. Decent price.
Room was small.
The lower level employees were great. Not check-in employees.
Booked a rm with queen size bed. Was not available at check in even though they could see I booked it. Instead we got a single bed with what they called a trundle, more like a cot. Didn't even have a blanket or spread. Really uncomfortable.
Stuff was helpful. Very good location.
There was terrible smell in the room. When I came back home, all my clothes still had that smell. The room was VERY small. We did not have space to put our 2 suitcases!
Very small room, shower problem (water never stays at particular temperature)
i didn't like that they charge you so much to park the car. there is parking across the street. if you do stay, get a room not on the street. i was told i had 2 beds and only had one.
I like the location I like the staff the maids were very friendly.
I didn't like that I had a kitchenette with out of microwave and had to go down stairs to warm my food and also the elevators were very slow
Clean room friendly staff
Bar in 1st floor is too noisy until midnight
Location Staff Clean
Carpet stains Needs new bedding( better pillows, bedspread, etc) No air conditioning in hallways
sevice is good
need to improve the a/c
coffee machine in the room
- we got two rooms - one was above the club (very high level of noise till 2am), another vis-a-vis a noisy ice machine - only decaff coffee in the room
The staff was friendly
We actually left to stay at a different hotel. The 100 dollars we paid wasn't worth a night of discomfort and uncleanliness. The room was damp and moldy, way too small, the bed sheets/blankets had stains and tears, it was an awful location. Parking was 22$ and cars can barely fit on the ramps. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Location next to ct
For 160 not really good value it's a 90 dollar hotel but its in la
Everything was good bed could have been better
I was supposed to 2 twin beds but they gave me a folded bed as my second bed instead of an actual bed. The alarm went off at 12am… and the shower is not hot
The location was very convinent and had many little shops around which I loved, and is walking distance to Little Tokyo and the Subway. The rooms were nice and so are the bathrooms. The staff was very nice and helpful.
I've stayed here Twice now, and the only thing that I makes it or breaks it is the Shower. The water never stays at a certain Temperature, and It goes from hot to cold or Vice Versa without warning. There's construction going on next door, so it woke us up pretty early.
location, half kitchen in the room, helpful staff
staff was nice
slow elevator, hallways were hot.
I appreciated the service above everything else. I had a unique situation where I needed a late checkout and then my bags to be stored for several hours after check out (late train back home). The baggage holding was professional and secure. I also needed to do laundry and they provided me with change and soap! I was able to hang out in the lobby while I waited to walk to Union Station. In downtown LA, I was worried about safety - I never felt that way during my stay at Kawada hotel. Great place!
Only criticism is that the elevator was really slow and the room smelled like insecticide, but the overall experience was worth every penny!!!
staff attitude，room size，问booked a big bed room，but hotel let us live in a twin bed room and it's a tiny room
The personnel was quite nice. There was a Café near by where you could purchase breakfast. Wi-Fi worked.
My room stinked of cigarette smoke, which was really off putting. The room was old fashioned and needed updating. There were no restaurant and the neighbourhood was a bit sketchy.
