It was clean. Bathroom was roomy. Restaurant had pretty good food. Only reason to be there is Monument Valley. Pool looked nice.
No hair conditioner!!!! I had to go buy some at the supermarket. It was a 20 minute drive to Monument Valley.
Convenient location for visiting Monument Valley. Conventional motel layout, so we could reverse car up to room door, unlike large 'Vegas hotels, where moving luggage can be tedious!
Pretty basic hotel in a location without much other selection
Seemed expensive for the amenities
It was a wonderful stay just like it was 41 years ago.
Rooms clean and modern. Front Desk staff efficient, helpful and friendly despite being busy
Restaurant busy and service slow, food quality could be better.
Room was clean
Price was over the top for the quality of the hotel and the dining room, they were exploiting the location as there are very few hotels to chose from
The hotel was fine. With the Navajo tax I paid a lot for a basic 2 star place.
Everything, especially the quiet and very clean room and the nice breakfast.
OVER PRICED QUALITY OF FOOD POOR
big room decoration facilities
room price restaurant price
Only half an hour away from Monument Valley. Big, nice restaurant. Clean.
The ceiling (floor of the room above) is wooden: very poor noise insulation -> bad sleep.
Grosse usine à touristes
bed quality ok room size ok AC ok
rooms are old couldn't open the window to many people for restaurant at dinner
Great location to visit Monument valley and the chelly valley. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The kids liked the swimming pool. It also has a nice souvenir shop.
Nothing really negative to report.
Very nice decor
Stopped in kayenta to see monument valley. This place is on the road to the valley,so it's convenient. The scenery is beautiful and the hotel has a very local feel to it. The staff is attentive and friendly.
Door would not close properly.
Not far from the Monument Valley Navajo Park
Excessive price Smoke smell in non smoking rooms Poor quality breakfast Small pool
The price was too high.
The food was good and the bed rooms were very nice and clean.
The cost of this hotel is very high and it is not worth this amount of money.
The breakfast was great. Room is clean.
Location is too far away from the place we wanted to visit.
The location was great
The bathroom door jammed and I couldn't get it open, also there was a lot of flys in our room
Staff not very friendly. Coffee in room no cups .Called front desk for cups had to go get them our self. Coffee House staff were worse.
Having read the reviews on this place, not just on here, I was a little apprehensive. However, a very pleasant lady checked us in and as much as the place is a little tired and isn't anything more than a motel, it serves it's purpose well. The room was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We were offered vouchers for our son to eat free off the kids menu but opted for a great place nearby called Amigo cafe. Don't be put off by the exterior, the food was fab! This hotel/motel meant we didn't have to drive even more than necessary to see monument valley. It's well located for that. Basically, it's in the middle of nowhere and there's not a lot of choice. I would stay again.
Yeah, it's well overpriced but they've kinda cornered the market here! I would say $100 over. However, it's a choice. Either pay the rate or drive for hours....which you will have done already.
