Wifi not good, to many taxes, staff not interactive & got the gross amount of cost one would expect a breakfast to be included!
Rooms were comfortable & clean

Front desk staff very inhospitable. Room was noisy and a little shabby. Television quality poor. Pool closed. We were sent to building 3 which was being reroofed and pretty noisy. When we complained they reluctantly moved us, but would not put us in an upstairs room.
Fairly good price. Restaurant and gift shop staff were very friendly. Only half hour from Monument Valley.

Bed was rock hard and the room didn't have a refrigerator. Restaurant was not open due to water issues.
Room was clean and staff was friendly.

Not much I didn't like about the place.
Nice and clean room. A big plus for me was the bed was on the high end side and very comfortable. Needed a key card to get into the building so added security there.

The restaurant was closed for repairs but, in any case, I was told, they don't offer a "breakfast-included" option for Booking.com users even though that WAS an option on the site. It's not just the restuarant that's under construction, indeed the entire facility except for the small building located on the far edge of the property was actually open for business. My wife and I are big people and find it difficult to sleep on any bed smaller than a full queen; it was disappointing that they only had a double room with (essentially) single beds, we felt like Ricky & Lucy Ricardo or any other pre-Brady Bunch TV couple in our separate beds last night. Last but not least, the price was way too high for what we received; I would recommend checking the Hampton Inn before booking here!
i liked the fact that there was an onsite guest laundry... The room was clean and the beds(!) were comfortable.

Outside of the Inn looks very worn/dated. Makes it seem like a somewhat scary motel rather than the quite nice Inn that you discover inside the buildings.
Room quality. Decent value for the money. Convenient (as much as anything is) to Monument Valley and Four Corners.

Expensive. Restaurant not open for dinner.
Close to entrance of Monument Valley.

Long wait at check in due to staff shortages
Comfort Breakfast Location
November 7, 2014
No air conditioning. No breakfast included in relatively high priced accommodation. The swimming pool was covered and not accessible.

The price was too high!
The soaps were a mini sized bath and body works soaps!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. Although the price was higher than other hotels we have stayed in on our multi-month journey, there are few options out here and it is a mere 23 miles to Monument Valley. Gas is inexpensive in Kayenta and everyone we ran into were super cordial.

Outside stair access to room on second floor. While it is clean the whole hotel is shabby and needs to be refurbished.
The location, the staff, the food.

Few choices for a good meal. We ended up at Sonic which we like, but would have preferred a sit down dinner.
Proximity to Monument Valley

My steak was a little well done. Rooms might get a bit hot in summer.
Central to monument valley and lake powell. Felt very welcome. Rooms clean and modern. Breakfast was fantastic - get the blueberry pancakes

Quality of facilities. In particular an excellent restaurant.
October 22, 2014
There were moths in the room. The bedroom did not have a remote for the flat screen and the room came with only one light, a lamplight. There was no light switch upon entering the bedroom.
Room assigned was a suite, El Capitan. Wish we could have stayed two or three days. We could have utilized the kitchen a bit more. Wouldn't mind renting the same suite again some time soon.

Overpriced - poor quality room & food.

Prepare to be a captive audience. No fridge or microwave. Breakfast at $10pp. On Navajo Reservation - so no alcohol. Have to log into WiFi by providing them with an email address (so data collection too!). My advice? Make one up. It works.
Huge king-sized room and bathroom. Would have been more than content with half the space - at half the price, of course.

Very expensive, three times the price of the Travelodge we stayed in the following night. On Navajo land where alcohol is not permitted. Restaurant only average, and staff not very friendly.

Windows do not open. Food could use some improvement.
Friendly staff (which surprised me, given the other reviews), decent rooms.
