Atmosphere, staff and breakfast were great.
Was harassed by pan handlers in the parking lot.
Good place to break up the journey from Grand Canyon to monument valley. Next to Burger King but good hotel menu too
Close to Monument Valley. Nice pool. Good Wifi. Clean room. Good service at restaurant on Friday night.
Terrible service at restaurant on Saturday night. Had to wait almost one hour for food which was cold on arrival. Then wait ages for server to bring check. Hotel corridors and elevator red hot. No air con ???
Room was comfortable and clean; the sheets smelt lovely and fresh. Restaurant was OK; my fajitas were tasty, but my wife's chicken salad was not so good and the quantity of chicken was small. Be aware that no alcoholic drinks are served. Good location half way between Monument Valley and the Navaho National Monument.
Paper and plastic cups, plates and cutlery at breakfast were a disappointment. Not very environmentally friendly!
Very good hotel and restaurant. We visited Monument Valley and Lake Powell/Glen Canyon and ate in the restaurant twice. Excellent service and comfortable. Plenty to eat for breakfast.
A fridge in the room would be appreciated. Many guests brought in cool boxes I noticed.
location for MV
Price for room was highest in UTAH/Arizona
Modern finish and excellent Indian staff made us welcome and service was good.
Air conditioner noise levels in the room meant it could be not run at night, and almost unbelievably, there were several refrigerator trucks parked in the adjoining car park with their engines running all night! I suggest the hotel management need to consult with the local governing body to stop this practice immediately. There are plenty of other more remote areas they could be parked, and behind embankments perhaps!!!
Friendly staff, beautiful setting, architecture and decoration; the pool more than made up for the long drives, the heat and the multiple stops the teenage boys had to endure while their mother was taking photographs!!!
Too much plastic at breakfast; breakfast itself wasn't so great; and is there a management policy as to which TV programme should be on (Fox News????)??? A nonstop info programme on Navajo code talkers would have been very interesting if it had been more objective and impartial (and not so mawkish). This does not directly relate to the hotel, still, it was noted.
Everything, the hotel was spotless the staff were very helpful the food was excellent. Very good hotel. 10 out of 10. Bill and Maggie
restaurant was closed un Sunday evening during high season. No alternatives restaurant except Mc Donald and Burger King
The ladies in the front office were dressed in Native American wear and that added a very nice touch to the place. The breakfast was excellent.
The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that a good sleep was impossible. Everything else in the whole place is better quality, but this sofa bed needs to be replaced...maybe a Murphy bed because they are far more comfortable than sofa beds. I think the rates are $25-35 too high.
Breakfast was good. Pool was nice.
Breakfast silverware made of plastik and one-way plates. That is not the best protection of environment. Hotel is overpriced.
Nice decor. good bets. Nice and friendly people well trained. Good restaurant but limited menu. Keep in mind you in Navajo Land so no beer no wine with alcohol.
Absolutely overpriced, they rip you off. On top you pay room tax plus a Navajo tax. To be frank in ttl 300USD is indecent for what you get. Clear cool night, chance to sleep with open windows but the windows are locked! So you have sleep with airco on in vent operating, not very economic.
Lovely decor, super comfortable room and very well presented. Quiet rooms, didn't use the air conditioning at all.
Thought the price was a bit high, but understand that comes because of the location and lack of competition.
The indoor swimmimg pool and the good choice s for breakfast
We were on motorcycles and when we came out to the bikes in the morning, there towel wipes on the seats. I thought that was very considerate by the staff.
Food! The food was not very good. After a long days ride we really wanted something good to eat. We didn't get that.
From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, Everything was great, the front desk staff, to the dining room staff, everyone was friendly making you feel that you are someone.
can't think of anything
clean and convenient
expensive for a retired couple
I realize accomodations in the area are scarce, but the room price was rather high for someone just passing through.
We thought it a bit odd that there was a note beside our bed that they had taken care to put clean covers on our duvets. Surely a hotel should do this, particularly a Hilton hotel, to which this hotel seems to belong.
Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were sanitary and maid service was good. Food at restaurant was excellent.
A little expensive for the area and the dining room staff was not as competent was the food was good. Unusually long wait time for dinner on the second night.
The staff was wonderful, esp. Shannel. Food was great.
I was able to park my motorcycle in front of door and under the awning
We had dinner and it took way to long to get and some of the courses were tasteless
Décor; inclusive breakfast; restaurant; gift shop; near Monument Valley
Kayenta was not the nicest of places
Great location, very comfortable rooms, great restaurant and shop. Everyone was very friendly and the price was right
