All amenities available, including hot tub, grill, TV, refrigerator, washer dryer Very clean. Great attention to detail to make stay as comfortable as possible.

We loved the proximity to both Hilo & Volcano. It was a great spot to begin our daily adventures from. The quiet surrounds were beautiful & private. The hot tub was an added bonus we finally managed to enjoy on our last night. The facilities were of a much higher standard than expected. Fantastic value for money.

The well equipped,nicely furnished studio was great. We considered it great value. A great base for our vacation on the east side of the big island. Everything we needed was there.Enjoyed the hot tub at the end of our busy days.

We liked the residential, quiet and private setting, complete with our own deck, hot tub, gas grill and laundry all right there. The inside was beautifully designed and thoughtfully outfitted. A great place to come 'home' to after a long day of sightseeing or hiking or whatever.

The only thing we didn't like all that much was the dense foam pad for the bed. After three nights we were ready for something a bit firmer.

The accomodation was excellent value for money and had every facility you could think of including washing facilities, jacuzzi, kitchen, beach chair, bbq, table and chairs, tv and good parking

Our Stay at Keaau Place was nothing less than perfect. The infrastructure was such that everything was prepared for us without the need of reception. However, Dallas and Brandy, the care takers, were eager to help us with everything upon our arrival and we quickly settled into our new home.The location, seemingly remote is infact well located for day trips in all directions.

There was nothing not to like.

I love that it has all the amenities of a small appartment, and a hottub on the back porch. I also love the location as it is far enough to be seculded yet not to far for shopping and the city which is about a 10-15 minute car ride. The Volcano is also only about 30-40 minutes away perfect location! The free high speed internet is awesome!

The rain made the internet go out for a day but that is nothing major. It is perfect otherwise.

A clean, new, comfortable, well equipped and well maintained vacation studio. Having laundry facilities, a large deck and a hot tub made the stay even better. Lastly,the owner and staff are helpful and welcoming,making you feel relaxed.

This resort is in a very laid-back community and has everything we needed. About 45 min drive to Volcano National Park and 1 hr 15 min drive to Mauna Kea. There are several tropical rain forests nearby you can drive through. Highly recommended!

The studio we rent was comfortable, with all the facilities you can have at home. Located in a very quiet position, it almost seemed to stay in the middle of the jungle.

The soft tub on the terrace was nice to see, but we didn't use it, because the water was stinking quite a lot. It was really a pity to have such a whirlpool there and not to be able to use it.

A wonderful peacful place! Absolutly great! Perfect location for volcano trip and nice snorkeling beaches. If you will spend few romantic hours, book keeau place!

The only thing - but anyhow i will book again - there is no chance to darken the room. Its very early in the morning brightlightly.

I loved everything about this place ! Comfortable beds, excellent setting, clean, stocked with everything you may need but forgot. My own washer and dryer on the deck. Caretakers were excellent. Price was excellent !

Everything was first class all the way. The jacuzzi was great and private and the kitchen was well stocked. We grilled steaks on the gas grill and loved the comfortable bed. It's not near the ocean but is on the way to Volcanoes National Park, which is one of the only reasons you might want to stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. We toured the entire island and would come back at night to have our evening meals and relaxation there in the room.

If you are going to stay on the Big Island, you need to know that the Hilo area is very, very wet. The rains were several times a day, although we did have two out of six days with lovely sun. The other side of the island is drier, but the coastline on the Hilo side is magnificent. If we were to return to the Big Island (and we probably won't), we might consider switching to the other side.

Very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there. We found that the room was very clean and furnished with good kitchen facilities. Also, the Softub really helped us relax. The staff are friendly and helpful!

Just a short 15 minute drive from the airport, this is the best kept secret on the Hilo side. Everything you needed was there for preparing meals. Excellence place to relax. The caretakers were great!!

Keaau place is the perfect hide out in a residential area - quite, clean and cozy. Very good to relax with full equipped kitchen, grill and whirlpool. Close to the volcano national park and to the small town of Hilo.

Very comfortable and clean place to stay if you are visiting the east side of the island. The owner has thoughtfully provided everything you might need and didn't or couldn't bring-ice chest, beach chairs, umbrellas. We didn't have to pack as many clothes as we knew we would have a washer and dryer, and our own private hot tub was great to come back to after a day of hiking at Volcano National Park. Would definitely stay here again if we came back!

The neighbor has a rooster, so if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep past 5 a.m. you might want to bring some ear plugs!

Everything was great! Nice place in near shopping and eating places.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and satified with the stay.

The place is just perfect! We stayed there for 6 nights, and the only thing we regreted was to leave. The caretakers - Dallas and Brandy - are very nice people. They welcomed us during the night, helped us to get in and around. The condo itself is very well maintained, there is everything a family may need during the stay. It feartures a fully equipped kitchen, and there are also BBQ facilities on a spacious veranda overlooking a rain forest. Good location: not too far from Hilo, and in proximity to Volcano, Mauna Kea and other tourist attractions. Shops including Foodland are just 10 minutes drive. An ideal place for those who look for a quiet surroundings and value privacy.
