When we returned from metro after 8pm campus was all locked up, we were lucky to have 2 students come upon us as we were trying to get back to the hotel. Also our first room had no hot water in the shower, they were able to switch us which was great. The next room was freezing and the heat didn't seem to work. My reservation stated that we were to have free Breakfast but it didn't show in their system like that and we weren't willing to pay $14 per person for standard hotel breakfast foods. They apologized at check out when I was able to Bring it to their attention but unfortunately nothing could really be done at that time.
The stay was the best value we found in the area for our travel dates. It was a short walk to metro, however after walking the first day we realized there was a shuttle it would have been nice to know about. Staff was overall friendly and tried to be as accommodating as possible.

I would have liked a guide to the television set in my room. I finally surfed through multiple stations to find the PBS one I was looking for!
The hotel room was quiet, exceptionally clean, and it was helpful to have a small restaurant, as well as a delicious Continental Breakfast. I liked the frequent shuttle to Union Station, too.

Free shuttle bus from front door to union station

The bathroom was configured for a handicapped person which was fine except when you took a shower. The bathroom floor got wet whenever you took a shower.
The room was clean and comfortable.

The heating and air conditioning system wasn't working properly. It only put out hot air. Room was hot at times. Two staff members were notified but nothing was done. Room reservation had been changed online but not at hotel . Thankfully I had the confirmation number so it was able to be updated.
Comfort and safety. I felt safe and it was comfortable. Price was reasonable.

We love the Kellogg! It would be nice to have a fridge but it isn't a deal breaker! They always have plenty of ice and super friendly staff who know sign language!

- Small gym - No pool - Sheets smelled- when I tried to inform the cleaning lady about it she left me a nasty note. - All the food is pre-made
Comfort of the bed was nice. TV was serviceable.

Location - in the neighborhood of the hotel (on the way to Metro station) very dirty street with garbage on it
Staff was extremely kind and polite Food (breakfast and dinner) was very good with many choices of dishes Comfortable and clean rooms

Tax wasn't included in the price quoted so it turned out to be more expensive than the quoted price. Yet other web-sites show the actual price including taxes.

The bus service to METRO trains and Union Station very much appreciated. However, weekend service is curtained to only 2 or 3 trips Sat and Sun.

None of the following myriad issues should have occurred in a hotel charging $300 night. This is literally the first hotel review we have ever written, despite being fairly frequent travelers. This hotel was extraordinarily disappointing. Room Issues: 1. We were given the wrong room. We paid extra for a room with a king sized bed. Were given a smaller queen room. The front desk attendant initially told us that a manager would just adjust the price when we checked out. When we went to check out we had to fight with the manager for an adjustment (which was ultimately given). Were told that the hotel does not guarantee the type of room, even though you can pay more for a specific bed size on booking.com. 2. The room we were given was somewhat dirty and housekeeping was not attentive to detail at all. Housekeeping left recycling (empty bottles) in our room. They didn't change the sheets. Left only decaf coffee in room. We were given multiple mini shampoos but no conditioners. Yet, housekeeping knocked on room at 8am while my husband was in the shower and I was brushing my teeth (neither of us clothed). We were very lucky to even hear the light knock. 3. The interior shower curtain was so short that did not keep water in the bathtub. The first night we were not provided a bath mat, so we used a towel. 4. Toilet paper holder not attached to wall. Replacement toilet paper roll jammed behind current roll making it impossible to turn. 5. Construction was going on in the hotel until about midnight the first night. Not terribly loud on the fourth floor, but disappointing none the less. 6. When leaving the room, we checked around and under the beds for any stray personal items. We found wrappers and litter from prior guests and it was extremely dusty. 7. This hotel sells wine and other goodies at the front desk, which was great. However, no prices were posted for the wine.
Friendly staff in bistro.
