The cramped room, dirty toilets and spider webs!
Great place to fish and close to everything you would need.
Great location. Clean and comfortable.
The private fishing docks and fishing cleaning station are great.
Never did find the ice machine.
Location on river
Bathroom had bad smell.Got only room without view of river.Could hear guests next door like they were in our room.
We particularly liked the fact that there were waders and fishing equipment that we could borrow. Not able to bring it up from Texas, so this was a plus.
The location was great for us and the staff very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean
The only complain I would have would be the smoking of guests is allowed right outside your door. For a non smoking facility you could not keep smoke out of your room because you walked through smoke to get into your room. You could even smell smoke when they were smoking outside your door. I would suggest a non smoking section (even outside rooms). Of course this is a suggestion from a non-smoker
The room was cute and clean. The private river front fishing was great! My husband and I had a great time! Would stay again
They immediately apologized, owned, and fixed their mistake and gave us a partial credit for the inconvenience. It was really good service.
They mistakenly had us written down for one night less than what our reservation had reserved.
Terrific location, quiet rooms, lots of space, friendly and helpful staff. Enough towels, clean beds.
The smell of detergent was overpowering and grossly unpleasant. I cannot go back because of this.
Everything but especially the view
We liked everything.
The view and the location
Fish weren't running in the river
Great access to the river, great views of river, the apt was worn, but clean and comfortable. I have traveled several places in AK and worn shouldn't discourage, bathroom great, refer great. Fair price. Lots of room. Cleanliness was great.
Lack of dishwasher. Tv didn't work, but we use internet for any entertainment, so upgrade to faster internet, if possible. You Asked.
Location is excellent, especially for fishing.
Rooms are a bit primitive, but it's Alaska. In truth, they have everything you need.
room was clean
very uncomfortable bed and pillows
Cheerful staff, beautiful river setting, clean, close to decent restaurants.
Curtains in room were terrible, not large enough to cover entire window to keep out daylight while sleeping. Can be noisy at times due to location on main highway.
Location, staff helpful
Road noise, no breakfast available, no desk in my room
Convenient to the peninsula
Facility needs maintenance. Bathroom door stuck, tub did not drain. No staff available until later in the morning (after 9 am).
very small table and only one chair
The proximity to the river was excellent and the fire pit is a nice touch.
It is a little spendy for what you get, 160$ for a small cramped room. The worn carpet and sloping subfloors give the impression that the place will soon end up in the river.
I liked the location.
It was very noisy all night long with people opening and shutting doors, people taking showers at 3:00 a.m. etc. It wasn't a very quiet hotel.
Location w grounds on river
Maybe there are bad rooms. We didn't have one.
Location. Size and facilities in room.
