Just a 5 minute drive from Ogunquit Beach, Maine, this motel features an outdoor pool. The Cape Neddick Lighthouse is only 9 miles away.
Score from 393 reviews Good
This Ogunquit motel is 1.7 miles off I-95 and features an outdoor pool. A trolley service to area beaches and Perkins Cove stops outside the motel every few minutes.
Score from 221 reviews Excellent
Less than 1 mile from the Atlantic Ocean coast, this Kennebunkport, Maine resort features an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. Rooms have free Wi-Fi and a private balcony or patio.
Score from 93 reviews Good
Nestled in a lush forest in the charming town of Kennebunkport, this hotel is moments from many recreational activities as well as the beach, and provides comfortable accommodations and thoughtful...
Score from 64 reviews Excellent
Clean, all in all okay but nothing special and more than 2km away from the ocean (15-20 minute walk)
It seemed to me that we always got lost in the area, maybe it was just us, and far from places.
I liked that our unit was private and there was access to picnic tables, a fire place to use, grills. Everything you would need to relax and enjoy your stay.
Size of bathroom
the location was sort of in the middle of nowhere. The tv was teeny tiny and there was no clock in the room. There was some mildew on the top of the shower curtain.
Staff was very friendly and gave great directions to things to do in the area. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is sort of in the middle of nowhere. I had no problem connecting to the internet
Parking was crowded
It was very quiet, low key, close to the water, not your standard motel...ie different, a bit old fashioned, just right. Would do it again.
We had a wedding on August 2nd in Kennebunkport and all the hotels in the area were super expensive. Shorelands was reasonable and we loved our little cottage that had everything we could possibly need for three days. It was great. (:
Out dated everything floor in bathroom sagging and a musty smell noisy window ac and ceiling fan. walls are paper thin you could hear your neighbor snoring.
Charged for coffee
Very clean, and staff go out of their way to assist.
AC didn't seem to work but because I only was staying one night didn't make it an issue.
The beach was only a 1/2 mile walk from the resort. Downtown Kennebunkport only a few miles down the road for delicious dinner. Staff recommended places were great. Will definitely stay there again.
Not a 4 minute walk to the beach, more like 20 minutes. Hot tub was not functioning. No telephones in the rooms.
Staff were very friendly, very quiet at night. Parsons beach can almost be considered private.
Rooms with skylight - lost us two hours sleep we badly needed.
location, facilities for kids, non-hotel vibe.
Abit unorganised. Staff unpresent, wifi not working in our room. But cosy and Nice if you Can close your eyes for some practical matters.
needs for major renovations and better housekeeping in rooms.
location was central to many beaches
Bathroom too small and cramped, kitchen sink too small, no counter space, inadequate sitting space, advertised sleeps 4 but to sleep comfortably not possible. Interior very old and badly in need of updating. Inadequate parking for customers. Limited parking at beach area and long walk if not driving to carry beach accessories.
Staff was friendly.
walking distance to beach
Room was tiny with a foul smell. Dirty linens. Bathroom opened into the side of the bed and my friend and I was bit by bugs in the room. IT IS NOT CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND IS NOT PET FRIENDLY. We lost $ 99.00 because we did not stay. False advertising to scam cancelation fees.
Not one thing
No iron or hair dryer
Parking is very to small in front of the cottage. I was squeeze. On the web site, it says that the coffee and the pastries are furnish. Well, it is, but they ask for money on the wall (By honor). Strange way to do business. Other motels in the area, it's free, without asking for money on the wall. This is a cheap way to do business. They change the towels after 3 or 4 days. Everywhere else i slept, it's every day. Mde Sonja is polite, but she doesn't smile a lot. My cousin who had another room felt the same way. Unconfortable to ask something. It was my 20th trip around Kennebunk this year, and it's the first time that i'm am a litlle bit disapointed about the logging. For us, it's so, so... no more.
Near the beach and Kennebunkport lower village. Easy to access. Close to Wells area also. If you like Kayaking, it's the place.
The previous night we had stayed at a wonderful New England inn with welcome drink of wine and nibbles and breakfast included, for the same price as Shorelands with no breakfast and no tea/coffee so Shorelands did not seem to be very good value. Shorelands is near a nice unspoilt beach (no lifeguard) but you need a car to get to the town. Maybe we didn't read the description well enough but would not expect to find this accommodation on a hotel website
This was basically a mobile home, so as long as visitors appreciate that fact it is OK. The beds were very comfortable and the site was quiet
Shorelands Guest Resort provided a cozy room on a peak weekend for $99/night. It was only an 8 minute drive into the center of Kennebunkport.
What a wonderful spot to spend a vacation! We had no idea what to expect, but were thrilled to see that this place has retained the feeling of a 1950's family resort, with all the conveniences of 2014- flat screen TVs, blazing fast WiFi, refer, microwaves, coffee maker [ and coffee available early in the a.m. in the main office on the honor system], a lovely pool, barb-b-cue, and plenty of free bikes to ride. Our beds were very comfortable, and it was quite quiet despite being full for a holiday weekend. Maybe the best part was the location. Just a delightful 10 minute walk down a beautiful Maple lined road, past an amazing horse farm, acres of pasture, only to arrive at a private sand beach [open to visitors] with long views and waves crashing, and hardly any people! Perfection!!
Only one thing:Coffee maker too small for my taste.
Very clean. Comfy beds. Gorgeous beach a 5 minute walk across the street.Affordable.
Needed better house keeping as one of us had become I'll and the restroom was not cleaned during our stay.
Comfort of the room was cozy. The front desk lady was very helpful with tips and information.
