Not being able to spend more time in New Orleans
It was very clean and nice location.
The beds were hard as a rock...we got no sleep in the three nights we were there. The pillows were awful. They just went flat as soon as you put your head on them. The mattress is adjustable from soft to firm; however, it is extremely hard either way. It felt like sleeping on pavement. The breakfast was $12.00 per person which I find outrageous. Most hotels don't even charge for breakfast. I stayed here back two years ago when it was Hotel Kenner and was completely satisfied and was the reason we booked this year but we will NEVER stay here again. We were very disappointed.
Proximity to services and airport. Pleasant staff, great pool, lobby and room size.
When we checked in the enter way hardwood and floor leading into the bathroom were dirty . Don't think the maid bother the clean up obvious spots. When we cleaned it up the floor was way dirty and obviously not been throughly mopped for a long while. Staff was responsive when asked for it to be cleaned. Staff was great.
Overall a nice place
But they need to work on cleanliness of the room. Lu's, to put 'airport' in the name is misleading. It's not that close to the airport.

Construction/remodel of lobby entrance. Noisy H.S. Volleyball tournament guests.
Hotel nice and clean. Staff friendly. At end of Williams Blvd. Made quiet area. Convenience of being in New Orleans without the hassle of hotels and parking in the city. Can be downtown New Orleans in under 30 minutes easily.
Charges for breakfast front desk not helpful
The front desk staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful, the food was slow but, fantastic and worth the wait!.
The shuttle bus driver was grumpy and not very helpful. Maybe cause it was 4 am but, we made the most of it,loaded and unloaded or own bags too so no tip for him.
Booked a king room but got a queen

Restaurant staff did not seem to be enjoying their jobs - it was a bother -

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Airport in Kenner, la during a weekend for two days, July 7 and 8, 2013. Upon arrival on Saturday afternoon the room had not been cleaned properly, there was dirt all around the beds. The internet did not work for the entire stay - we were told this was due to the weather! They were not able to fix it for two consecutive days - is this the usa or some underdeveloped country? The praised Keurig coffeemaker did not work either, it did not heat up. When we came back from New Orleans on Sunday at around 6:00 P.M., housekeeping had not been in our room - it was the same since we had left it in the morning. The lady at the front desk checked this and told us it was about to be made. When we came back from dinner nothing had changed. I myself had to take fresh towels to our unmade room. When we complained about all these issues and wanted to see the manager, the staff told us there was none during the weekend. The staff at this hotel was the worst I have ever come in contact with. Their attitude was not at all helpful, just plain rude and they had a very nasty disposition. The slogan says: "Hilton Garden Inn is setting new standards in the hospitality industry" and "Team members pride themselves on providing service that is unparalleled". We can only say: How true!!!
