The hotel bar and lobby is a really nice area to sit down and have a drink or do some work. The beds are very comfortable indeed!
You have to pay for wifi even though the hotel is already outrageously expensive, considering the facilities are somewhat old. The room was freezing also and it took two hours for maintenance to come fix the AC.
Location to Georgetown and within walking distance of the tourist spots. Good facilities and was clean and good value for money. Would stay again.
Service at bar was slow on occasions, had to ask 3 times for a drink, and some staff were not particularly friendly.
Walking distance from monuments.
small in room fridge, coffee service adequate.
This hotel lacked several things I usually insist on: no in-room safe, no free WiFi (and they should be ashamed for charging $12.95 for such terrible room quality), the bed was excessively soft (took two bed boards to allow me to get any kind of sleep quality), and the room was consistently very warm despite air conditioning set at 65 degrees. (desk person said it's an old building, people complain all the time). I had trouble getting a pillow I could sleep on (down allergy, bad next and even the non-down pillows were way too soft.) The walk across major roadways to Rosslyn and the Metro got really old real fast. Restaurant selection in the hotel was limited and uninteresting. Lobby consistently crowded with tour groups and conferences. Response from the desk staff was grudging. It would have to be at least 25% below the price I paid for this to be any kind of deal.
Clean, good location, friendly staff, enjoyable stay.
Mix up with the rooms but they gave me free parking and internet but.....i think those should be free anyway.
Heat place great people great location
Cost of there food
Lobby is spacious. Room is comfortable
Restaurant requested a gratituity for essentially a self -service table. Only the coffee was served. Garage is quite far from the hotel. Need more parking close to the front desk. Reception was defensive about the first issue, when I complained. Laundry room is too small ( only 2 driers and 2 washing machines ) for this size of a hotel
In this day and age to charge $13 for wifi in the room is disgraceful. Oh but it's available in the lobby...which means the hotel is wired for wifi, but they can make extra money and charge for the use. Shame on you Marriott.
comfortable and enjoyed the stay
Location close to the Metro in a safe area of town. Rooms clean and very nice.
Stated free breakfast but it is not there is a fee.
Indoor and outdoor pool was great! Lots of cardio equipment which was nice. Concierge lady was very resourceful and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Wifi in your room should be included with the price as it is even in motels. We had problems logging on even from the free public areas. Front desk ended up comping us with wiifi. TV did not work for awhile as a storm was passing through because they use satellite. Parking prices should be free or less for guests of the hotel.
The food generally was very good especially the breakfast which had some wholesome healthy bits and not just plenty of fry ups! The concierge was excellent.
Our booking didn't include wifi service but the front desk staff cordially added it for free. Thanks Marriott.
Our room view which is facing the parking building at eye level.
Location - next to office and across from Georgetown Early morning access to coffee shop Large room Friendly staff
Wi-Fi charge. This should be free at all hotels. Fitness room: tiny, smelly
LOCATION TO SIGHTS
Good value for money through booking .com ( almost twice the price otherwise ) close to some great bars and facilities
Room service was very slow !
Very close to Georgetown.
Hotel facilities are very dated. Staff are not friendly. Carpet was constantly wet from leaking AC. Noise from other rooms. Very pungent damp smell in common areas.
the pool for our grandchildren and nieces and nephews also staying there, Awesome shower heads and water pressure, divinely comfortable beds, walking distance to Georgetown, good food downstairs for the quick bite and simple supper after days of rich party food.
Our first floor room facing the pool had no blackout curtain. We slept in nearly broad daylight the first night. The next morning we began working on changing it. Promises but no action until 5 p.m. and then the curtain provided didn't fit. Eventually we were moved to a new room on the 4th floor. Clearly this situation wasn't a new problem so why was it virtually ignored until we complained repeatedly? There was not an easy chair in the room either. Our new room had one so we knew it should have been standard issue. Someone somewhere fell down on the job.
FACILITIES WERE GREAT, CLOSE TO ITEMS.MANY SIGHT SEE
STARBUCKS NOT HONORING THEIR OUM CASH CARD.
Location was perfect for our plans
A/C struggled bathroom could have been bigger very busy not relaxing
The bed & pillows were comfortable and the shower had hot water.
The walls seemed thin at times sound-wise.
Close to the bike trail
Cost for parking
Excellent location and nice room.
Condescending staff (desk) over-priced breakfast, no free wi-FI. I realize you probably cater to a more business-oriented clientele, but...
wifi not free
I had a big fight with the desk manager Eric Monic. The glass sliding doors fell on my foot and she accused me for making it up because I didn't want to pay for parking.
That manager grab my bill out of my hands and called the security on me ! Why ?? Because the glass doors fell off the hinges
