I asked for an upper level room, overlooking the city and/or water, and instead I got a room on the 4th floor over looking the roof of the swimming pool. Very, VERY disappointing. The room was quite small, and the fact that I had to pay for parking was quite ridiculous. I already felt I was paying too much for my tiny, very unattractive room, but throwing a $19/night charge to park my car just seemed petty. Bought groceries at the supermarket, because we didn't feel like spending $40+ on breakfast each morning. I mean...c'mon.
The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was quite nice. The lobby downstairs was exquisite, but misleading as the rest of the hotel didn't match up with "niceness"
The only draw back was the amount of air traffic flying overhead. It was noisy at times, but certainly not a "deal breaker".
The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating. The hotel provided ample and convenient parking and the Metro Station was a short walk from the hotel. The hotel also provided an excellent buffet style breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again and I would also recommend this hotel to others.
This hotel not only provided a clean, hospitable, and comfortable stay, but its location topped it all. The view and convenience to beautiful Georgetown, and easy access to the Metro made it the perfect hotel for us!
They did not tell me I had free WIFI And the free connection was dire. Could not access any mail for 4 days
Staff were great and they sort problems immediately.
Old building Wifi you have to pay and it is bad.try to be
Renovations were being done on the floor above us - very very noisy. Hallways could have been cleaner. Elevators were not in proper working order.
Bathroom small. They put an older couple close to High school teams... Noisy
Location was great, view was great, staff good, breakfast great!. But most of the time hotel over priced. Things show west. Staff very pleasant
As above poor heating in the room and maintenance did not help
wifi was slow and inconvenient.
The staff made my family feel welcomed. They made us sense they were glad we were there.
Location and the view of the city with a short walk to George Town is a big plus.
Garage key did not work, wifi did not work, no bathroom fan, temp control did not work
People were nice
Have been celebrating an anniversay there for the past 18 years and am delighted with the renovations.
when we went to ask for Wi-Fi they were having difficulty adding it to our bill, do we got it free. But it only worked on my device and not my boyfriend's.
The room service was excellent! Very happy I ordered breakfast.
Free wifi in rooms would be preferred.
Location was perfect for us, walked to Georgetown. Very comfortable. Starbucks convenient.
I would definetly stay there again
Good location not far from the city
$12.95 for wi-fi a day is something nobody should pay in this day and age.
Everyting expecially location and value for money was excellent.
Old furnitures, hotel requires major renovation, upgrade. Not so good value for the money paid.
The chocolate punch
Diversity of menu, it seems as if there is only one menu for all restaurants, bars and room service .
Great value for money. Close to metro and easy transportation. Access to rent a car facility. Clean rooms and great service.
The COST! I don't feel someone should have to pay to stay at a location they are already paying. Parking should be included. But if there is a charge, it should be no more than $5. We paid $19!
it was convenient to the hotel.
someone was playing in the parking and make high noise by his car
I had call ed the hotel just before we arrived and was told that the pool and hot tub were out of order and it would not be fixed during the 4 days we were there. I furthet asked if we ciuld use another Marriott's hot tub, she put me on hold and came back with a negative answer. We found out at the last day that it had not been out of orderat all. We were sad that we missed some pool fun and relaxing at the tub. Although, the staff was very nice, one was not well informed.
The bed is important to us as I have back problems. That was not an issue at the Key Bridge. A good night of rest makes for a good day. Thanks.
We love staying at the Key Bridge Marriott and visiting DC and Georgetown. Thanks!
We were happy with everything!
Because of my husband's gold elite status our full breakfast each day was included & our parking was free. Walkway to Key Bridge to Georgetown was great.
