People Room Cleanliness Location
Everyone very helpful Great place and location
Rooms are small. Ours had a view of the parking lot
Like everything going back back next month. Been going there for the last 6 years. Magnifique
The staff was extremely courteous and very accommodating. Free parking is definitely a plus. Location is great.
Can't think of a thing!
Great location. Everything was clean and well looked after. Good parking too.
Location, room and especially the bed and bathroom. Very luxurious feel.
nothing not to like!
The room was very attractive, quiet, and clean. All of downtown / the historic district is within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful; parking is free. There is a restaurant and bar, and free coffee in the morning (as well as in your room).
The elevators are oddly located and it takes a bit of figuring out to discover which one to use based on your room location. The split-level lobby is odd, but the upper portion is very much like a living room: very welcoming.
Friendliness & professionalism of staff; location.
Great happy hours Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledge Loved fireplace area for drinks
Sad to say the construction people swept debris on our car. But the manager handled things well
If you want to experience Southern charm and hospitality, this is the place to stay. The staff could not be more helpful and are happy to recommend places of interest and good dining experiences, as well as booking tours for you. The happy hour is a great idea, which gives you the opportunity to meet the Manager, Maureen, who is very welcoming and interested in your daily experiences in Charleston.
Expensive for what you get. Lots of towels at the start of stay, but they disappeared steadily until we finally put all of them on the floor at once. Then we got restocked completely and they started to disappear again.
Staff were outstanding!
Great location in Charleston with free parking
In fact its a *** Hotel with old rooms incl. a noisy AC but the price and everybodys attitude is like a ***** Hotel. Room wasn't clean - dust. Except the location we can't recommend this hotel.
Very convenient, walking distance to the best part of town
The rooms were very tiny for the price.
Great location to tour historic Charleston....beautiful accommodations.
The young woman at the front desk was incredibly pretentious...nothing of the warm, genuine Southern hospitality that that this lovely, historical inn deserves.
Hotel staff very friendly and eager to provide information about the many great restaurants and attractions. Rooms were very clean and free parking and pool were very nice addition.
Very clean, nice and accommodating staff, comfortable beds, free wifi, free "welcome reception".
Rooms were quite small for the "boutique" pricetag. Within walking distance of many attractions, but not in the "heart" of the action like expected. Also, construction going on right next door that took away from the beauty of the property. Would stay here again, but not at such a hefty price tag.
Staff was so helpful.
Hallway was so cold (air conditioning).
Very friendly people. Free parking
The location The room Free parking Good wi fi
Breakfast not included in the ro price
Staff, room, location, breakfast.
That I had to pay for it, but free would be too much.
Great location and worth the price. Staff was awesome and very friendly. Parking was easy and free. Parked our car and walked everywhere. Very close to the market, dining, shopping etc...
Staff responded to the concerns and offered a full refund.
The pictures do not represent the rooms. We expected this to be a quaint hotel in the heart of the city. The hotel was a bit run down, the room was small and smelled. We asked them to clean the room. Room service showed up, stayed 5 minutes, did nothing and didn't even talk with us. We were completely dissapointed, told the front desk and they offered a full refund without question. While I would not recommend this hotel, the staff resolved the problem to my satisfaction.
