Room was clean and spacious
Hot breakfast consisted only of scrambled eggs and hash browns and was supposed to be available until 9am. yet if you weren't there by 8 am you were out of luck. Very disappointing all round
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including the cleaning staff. The breakfast was much better than the usual continental breakfast provided by hotels. We only paid $43.00 US a night. Fabulous value.
Everything was just fine.
Clean room at a great price. People complained about trains but we never heard them once from our room.
Train across the street
location, staff... value for money
Noise of trains and heater, but I had the same problem in all the motels of 66!
couldn't get / stay online to update travel plans and check accounts. Could not close out properly when leaving because of no internet. Internet is one of the most important amenities for a cross country traveler like me. I will not recommend a stay here.
Staff; Dirk spoke German and even a bit of Dutch; very impressive. Hotel was decent, clean and the beds were comfy. Grand Canyon is only one hour and a bit to drive so the location was great as well.
Noise from the trains which were even driving after midnighy.
friendly staff, good rate for room, nice location
Leak : water on the floor Dirty things on the wall and bad smell Wifi connection very bad
The only real complaint is that it's right across the street from a train track & very loud trains went by every 20 minutes all night long.
The property was centrally located, close to shopping, downtown and not far off the freeway. Be sure to book in advance though, as they get busy over the weekend. Also double-check your room request, as my reservation changed from a King to a Queen (this is on Booking.com's end; has happened 5 times already).
Very curt front desk staff for evening check-in. He was taking a long call and discussing financials before I was greeted. 3 minutes of this before check-in. Also, very thin walls. We heard entire conversations (and other, less discreet "sounds"...ahem) from all connecting walls. Be sure to put on a radio, TV or leave a fan running if you want privacy. Still, for the price, it suited our needs and then some.
Great price Convenient location Ample parking
The rooms and beds were clean. The lobby was remodeled in classic route 66 decor which made for a fun atmosphere. The staff were very friendly.
The trains were a little bothersome.
The free continental breakfast.
Location right by the train tracks and the uncomfortable bed. There was no iron or ironing board.
Staff were really great. Bed was great. Train noise but I like it so no problem for me. They've stopped sounding their horns in town now-unfortunately.
Microwave didn't work. Breakfast was unimaginative and eggs a bit hard and dry.
Staff very helpful
Noisy bus load of tour group up yelling at each other in the corridor and running up and down stairwell for an hour from 11 pm till 12 asked them to keep quiet and they did - for 5 mins then called and complained to staff and little difference hardly any sleep cheap and nasty...
This hotel has a lot o value compared to the price you pay. everything is clean and in good conditions. Close to main attractions in town, Good breakfast
the bed is not comfortable.
spacious room, coffy bed, clean
a little noise from train, but not conscious when asleep.
Rooms are okay, clean with double quine beds. Close to city center.
Poor continental breakfast, have to come early to get some food. Very small breakfast room.
heater took forever to warm up
good facilities and very friendly guy at the reception
Staff, location to our Physician, clean. I love trains so the noise was pleasant for me. Price, and the breakfast
Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
Entire place needed an overhaul. Very dated and tired. Location not great for flagstaff but ok for an overnight stop
very close to Flagstaff historical downtown, friendly staff, great breakfast, I was not even disturbed by the proximity of the Road (route 66) and the train
Noisy Air conditionner
