The location is pretty good, and cheap but you get what you pay for
Parking accomodations Sink didn't drain Beds were small TV remote didn't work
The location and the price is unbeatable. The cleaning staff is very nice.
I would have like to have a kettle in the room. for tea or hot chocolate. The wifi is weak to non-existent and the desk is situated in a corner where there is no outlet to plug a laptop.
location, proximity to restaurants and grocery store.
bare bones and needs a lot of updating. Checked for bugs but didn't see any. Old televisions, Gate closes too early, no night person on duty, very dark outside (they don't have the outdoor room lights working) NOT recommended for single women or older people.
Definitely not one of the nicer places I've stayed. My non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke, although it got better during my stay.
Great Location! It was a quick walk to stores, sights, and public transportation.
The motel is a little dated and worn but was clean. It was a little noisy as it was just next to the monorail track.
Good value for money with free parking.
Too few plugs in room and none in bathroom. Very small room. Good for sleeping only.
location, price, free wifi, clean room, friendly staff
limited parking, no tissue box, no fridge or microwave
Position: edge of shopping area, monorail past the door, transit tunnel 3 blocks away, great adjacent restaurants and cafes. Wi fi was good. Rooms are a true 1960`s experience, but you get what you pay for. Staff great at ensuring you get calls/messages
Rooms look tired, but decore matches historical sites of monorail and space needleall built at the same time, but motel has aged a bit... It`s safe, convenient and clean and a bargain for downtown.
Easy to get to
First attendant was a little dismissive
The overall experience was fine.
However, most of the towels we were given were dirty (some of them even had hair and dirt in them) and there was very limited parking.
Great for price. Exactly what I expected, but I had low expectations.
Wifi connection bad
Heart of Seattle--walking distance to both Pikes Place area and Space Needle. No need to move your car. Staff was super friendly and even let us less leave the car for the day on the morning we checked out. Way cheaper than the rest in the area.
Parking very tight. Older/ worn establishment with minimal amenities. Thin walls and doors. Could hear street and hotel activity. Check the heat/air--it helps to run it as white noise especially on New Year's.
the wifi wouldnt work well in the room
Great price for location alone
No safe available in room or reception.
Very comfortable beds. We requested a higher floor and were put on the top (3rd) floor. The heater was a little loud but worked well. Parking was free and we were able to leave the car there after we checked out; that's $30 in value right there! And the location can't be beat for $100 booked 2 days before arriving! Meant we had a bit of extra cash for shopping!
Just the proximity to some tourist destination.
The list is huge. 1) I was itching very badly when I was siting in the bed 2) the room was not very clean and the carpet and the bed sheets had stains and holes on them. 3) when i asked for a good place to eat in the restaurant at the reception I was directed to a very seedy place where the cab driver actually had to lock all the doors and drive away. PLEASE DONT EVER BOOK HERE. NOT WORTH IT...
Felt great every time I entered and left the room. Outdoor corridors double as balcony, had a cigarette with a stranger/motel room neighbor upon arrival, and stared out onto the street and monorail. Very unique feel, yet holds a familiarity.
location and price
As I wrote location is great, there are many bus routes around and it's close to restaurants and city center. The bed was ok, it didn't smell at least.
Bathroom was old and dirty and elevator smelled like someone died there and wasn't removed from there for a long time. I didn't hear noise from monorail, but if you are concerned about noise you'd better think twice.
Great location. Good value. Rooms were decent.
Wi-Fi seemed very slow. Staff lacked any personality or warmth.
The guy at the front desk was very rude
Location is great and easy walking distance to downtown and Pike Street Market. Rooms are clean but not fancy. Staff was helpful in making sure we had the two beds we asked for. Free parking is a big benefit!
Room was really cold and heater didn't work overly well. A spare heater in the room worked but was slow to warm the place. Shortage of electrical outlets.
Great location. Free parking. Free wi-fi. Room was clean.
Staff was rude. Room stunk of cigarette smoke. Water never got hot - even with the cold turned completely off. We had to ask for hangers for the closet area. No dresser.
