Close to light rail, Pike Place Market Free parking; first come, first served AC also does heat
Very slow WiFi, a 4-min. song from iTunes took 7 mins. to download No overhead light, lamps only
The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was the primary reason for my stay there - within walking distance of Seattle attractions. Free parking is awesome.
It has that old shabby hotel feel, but it was clean and functional. The location is also in a not so great part of downtown Seattle, but then, nowhere in Seattle is particularly safe at night. I felt safe once i was in my room.
Great location. Easy walk south to Pike's Market or north to Seattle Center. Many good restaurants and bars of course. Significantly less expensive than any other option in the area (not counting hostels with shared rooms). The rooms are clean if dated.
It didn't bother me much, but some would be bothered by the noise. Both street noise and the relatively loud sound of other guests opening/closing doors or watching TV next door. And if you're averse to older facilities this place isn't for your. Think 1950s/60s motel that was never really renovated
Location and price Free parking
Sporadic wifi Old TV
very small room. Staff at reception not friendly/helpful
This location was great for being able to walk everywhere in Seattle. If you're on a budget and just want someplace to sleep while you're in town playing this serves the purpose. Towels & linens were clean.
Off street parking is for very small cars- SUVs beware! Door in the bathroom was hung crooked & made horrible noise when you had to yank it open. The curtain was white & unlined so the light from the stairwell lit up the room like daytime. No outlets in bathroom so curl your hair by the bed.
Only the location and desk clkerk
Old building needs renovations, transparent draped, threadbare bath linens, worn carpet, etc.
Price and location are good
This is a rundown motel I would not stay in with family
Location is handy to Pike St Market
No kettle or other facility to boil water. No tea/coffee making facility. No tea/coffee provided except at reception and when the coffee pot is empty, it is not refilled. No fridge to stop medication. Extremely small room.
Close to all the popular sights all within walking distance and also food outlets. Very good value for money.
Noise, you hear all traffic and constant sirens all through the night. If you are a light sleeper , not the place to stay.
Excellent location close to Space Needle tower and downtown and other facilities
Room was small and out dated..elevator was next to our room and kept getting stuck making a terrible noise at all hours of the night/morning
I like the location and car parking which is free.
The bathroom is a bit small and that's it honestly.
Close to a good restaurant/bar, we dined at the restaurant/bar on the corner, food and service was great. Staff at Kings Inn were polite.
Didn't like the curtains I could see people walking past my room, so obviously they could see me in bed. Curtains were not lined, they were more like shower curtains. Also there were comings and goings from the apartment behind all night. A positive was the unit was reasonably clean.
Great location walking distance from downtown!
Bedbugs. I got twelve bites in the course of three nights. I got more each night. At first I was in denial but then I was no longer in denial. Also the fridge in the room made a loud noise every ten minutes or so.
very bad hotel. Very weak WIFI. No hot water heater. Staff is not friendly.
Within walking distance of most attractions in DT Seattle Free wifi Free parking Working AC in the room
Rooms are similar to a rundown Motel 6 Wifi is extremely slow and service is intermittent No available linens or towels on hand, if you need anything you have to wait till house cleaning arrives the next day after checkout time Priced similar to much better hotels in the area Tv didn't work Coffee pot was broke
My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Kings Inn. Great location!!! Outdated but clean room. Helpful personnel.
The room was clean and the linen was clean.
The Seattle area is extremely expensive. This motel was the least expensive we could find. Most others wanted well over $220. We felt we got a bargain at $126. Our room was very small but adequate for 2 people.
For an aging facility, it was clean and the bedding was comfortable. It was the only lower priced and decently rated hotel close to Pier 49 and our early morning Clipper departure. For a last minute booking, few other accomodations had rooms available in the area.
The building is early 1960s era construction and the infrastructure, though clean, is not updated, but looking tired and patched up. There is a lot of noise from plumbing and other rooms.
Location to downtown Seattle
No plug in in the bathroom; electrical cord under carpet and hole bored through wall; mold starting in bathroom; very small room; no microwave or frig; no toilet paper holder in bathroom;
Close to everywhere and good for my pocket :)
have bad smells from carpet
The beds were really comfy, the air conditioner made it nice and cool. (It was actually pretty hot when we visited.) I say the painted rooster in the closet was a plus. Why was it there? I don't know, but it was awesome!
The carpet was really dirty looking, the hot water tap screamed and squealed when turned on, and the placement of electrical plugs was interesting....
They advertised wi-fi but once in your room there was no wi-fi at all. We were in a 2 room suite that had only 2 plugs per room and absolutely no plugs in the bathroom for grooming. The beds were like sleeping on a bed of nails. I wouldnt recomend this hotel to anyone.
