It was close to subway. The hotel is OK in terms of comfort and service. Parking was available at the hotel.
The area around did not look safe, but this is not about the hotel, it is about Brooklyn. :(
Cleanliness, friendly, and comfortable beds, please don't change the mattresses were very comfortable.
They should have there breakfast hours longer than 9:00am.
worst mattress ever. no refrigerator in the room. the key to the room usually didn't work to unlock the door the first 2 or 3 times, i had to keep trying and trying to unlock my door to get back in. the continental breakfast was not very appealing.
the hotel has a good location
but needs to be redecorated.
The room was clean smelled good
I was not given secured parking had to park a couple blocks away and there was alot of arguing yelling going on while we were trying to sleep
Elevator only access
Parking at hotel Close to subway
The hotel is only a block and a half from a subway stop, which allows you to see everything there is to see in NYC. Very convenient for late nights when you just want to get back to your room and sleep. No need for taxis at all.
The room was not equipped with an ironing board and iron. I would put those in the rooms.
The room was cleaned well every day. The staff is nice, and the hotel is right across from a subway station!
People not from New York (us) should be comfortable with the subway system if staying here (which we were not) because this place is so far from NYC. Most late-night cabs in Manhattan wouldn't drive out this far, so we either took an expensive Uber home, or the subway.
The hotel is close to major transport lines the bus runs right in the front of the hotel and the subway (D Trains) actually are less than five mins walk away. The staff is professional and courteous. I must commend the housekeeping staff they were on point every day the room was always fresh and clean just like I met it on first entering. The breakfast is continental style so if you are staying more than couple days it can get a bit blah. You can either mix it up a bit (bagels one day cereal the next) or you can easily get something outside as there is a deli and a couple restaurants located on the corner. On the 5th fl there is an ice machine and a hot water dispenser which was really handy for me as I needed hot water to make formula for my baby and sanitize his bottles. I was a bit skeptical to stay there with a baby and my teenage daughter having read that the area was a bit lonely but it fit my budget and I researched the reviews. We returned from sightseeing and roaming NY pretty late sometimes around 10pm and there were always lots of people exiting the train walking along the street. There are a few apartment buildings nearby so the street is never lonely. I felt quite safe! What you can do if you are considering this hotel is to go to google maps and check the street view. I do that for all places I venture to. This hotel is a great choice especially on a vacation as most ppl are out exploring and you only return to the hotel to rest. I will definitely return.
The lobby is on the first floor which is located in like a basement area, the only way to get there initially is by walking down a flight of stairs. It ws a task to get up and down the stairs with a stroller so I started to exit from the car park area. That was my only issue.
I was insulted from the receptionist called wendy at my arrival to the the hotel . She is completely impolite and I wanted to go out but as they took all the money at the time of reservation I was obliged to stay, otherwise the hotel is excellent in everything.
1 subway stop to hospital. Very close to subway station . Also nice morning walk to hospital.
Just a bit odd but nothing serious. Needed to be near hospital for daughters surgery. If this were a pleasure trip we would have probs stayed elsewhere but we were here to sleep only. Served its purpose.
The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was remarkably nice. The staff was friendly. Would stay there again.
Wifi speed was not consistently fast which was annoying when I needed to do some work.
Nice photos on the net
Terrible location, greedy management.
Staff helpful, near the subway, White Castle Restaurant and other 24 hour stores nearby, clean and spacious room, free parking available, easy in and out of the hotel, and free adequate breakfast.
Musty smell from the floor drain in the bathroom, so covered it with the paper mat provided which greatly lessened the smell. Only 6-7 indoor parking spaces and garage is locked by 11pm.
Hotel was very clean and staff was helpful and courteous.
I would suggest a small refrigerator in the room.
That it had parking and that they were very nice about switching us to a smoklng room. And it was quiet and the air condition worked great.
The bagels were a little hard.
I really like this hotel, the room was always clean. It is a suitable place to rest. The neighborhood where it is located is safe and you can get there the 24 hours. The subway is very near and the train takes you to Manhattan in 35 minutes. Another advantage is that there are many grocery stores near and the hotel includes breakfast. In general it is a good place to stay if you wanna rest and save money in your trip to NYC.
Free wifi Free breakfast
only one device allowed on the wifi Limited selection at breakfast
The location - with subway 2 blocks away is perfect both for easy access to Manhattan and Coney Island, using the D line, no need to change lines. Friendly and helpful staff, nice to be able to have breakfast early morning, super clean( daily room service no matter what time you leave the hotel.I would totally stay there again and I recommend it to anyone (family or couples) that want to have the best there is at a very fair price. I had a beautiful room with a fantastic view to Skyline.
The INCREDIBLY naughty and rude staff, tiny rooms to walk from far side of the bed to bathroom need to walk sideways to fit through, at 11am check out time a staff member had came to the room telling us to leave now it's check out time I asked for 2 minutes to just over look that we didn't forget anything to what he said no get out now your time is done leave now and he stood there to watch us leave, NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Close o subway station. Good quality for the price.
Not interesting neighbourhood.
It is very close to the Subway.
The club downstairs is a bit noisy at night.
Location is convenient for New York tour.
very close to metro station and a deli shop, clean
