Very friendly staff. Upgraded without a request by me. Rooms were neat and clean. They have a very nice area next to a small, quiet bay and some docks for morning coffee. Although situated on the main road through Marathon, there was no road/traffic noise. In fact, by going out the back to the small bay, it felt quiet and isolated from the main traffic areas. There was also a laundry room open for guests, and a nice pool.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We were arriving very late, and the desk person was very helpful in letting us know how to access our rooms. The morning desk person was also very friendly when we checked out. The pool was clean and nice. The adjoining rooms were good for our purpose, with a fully applianced kitchen.

Musty smell in the bathrooms, and cigarette smell in the rooms.

Nice location for touring the Keys, good sized room and clean, no breakfast but morning coffee by the bay was very welcome, staff helpful and cheerful

Volume of traffic on the through road made any journey to a location on the other side was safest done by car - yes; we went to breakfast, directly across from motel, by car! :)

Great location by the water. Rooms were very spacious,well equipped and clean. Nice pool area.

Pool was clean and convenient. Rooms were older but clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room was right next to the dock with an awesome view of the cove. A Manatee came by and we got to pet it.

Very good apartment in an ideal situation for all manner of activities. Sitting on the dock in the evening perfect. Spacious lounge and bedroom with good kitchen. Lots of parking.

Bathroom on the small side

The motel, or rather resort as they call themselves now, could use an upgrade (it is pretty dated) but the suite is pretty complete, with a fully equipped kitchen.

The a/c is very noisy and does not really cool the bedroom, it does not have any effect on the sitting area.

Clean place. The fact that they were always trying to keep the place up. I would chose a room with a screen room every time. We were so much happier once we moved to one.

The linen. I think it is time to invest in new linen/towels. The bedspreads are quite dated and the towels were dingy and well used. I have to say that everything was clean though.

We enjoyed our quiet screened in porch by the harbor. The rooms were clean and the kitchenette was adequately supplied to even enjoy a cooked meal in our travels. The pool was refreshing. This hotel was near The Crane Point Historical Museum and Nature Trails which was excellent and had a bird rescue hospital on the grounds where saw many waterfowl up close. We loved our time in Marathon. A good value!

The room we had included a living room/ kitchette with sink, refrigerator, oven and stove. When you hear "motel" I think of a single room and tight quarters. Not here

Real small bathroom. Asked if I could print out boarding passes and was told " No."

Wifi did not work from inside my room. Ok near swimming pool and even outside at the front door. No breakfast (just - bad - coffee and a industrial muffin). No place to sit down (the few tables/chairs were wet from rain of the night)

Location. Cleanliness. Safety. Price. Friendly and helpful front desk personnel. When I inquired about hair-drier, the front desk person provided me by one.

Minor drawbacks: No hair-dryer in the room. No shampoo.

Paper-thin walls, you can hear the other guests in the neighbouring room and outside noises too

Location was good, especially for the seafood fest. Marathon was great, but Motel was not.

Ice machine was broken entire 4 days..TVs did not work well...Rooms were not clean, dirty feet and socks when we walked on tiled floors....Ran out of toilet paper and had to go get some, even tho housekeeping had been there that same morning. Stains on bottom sheet we were told they were from bleach. Never changed sheets. Could not open windows for fresh air.

The room we had was perfectly located in front of the small harbour, very quit and well equiped. room142!

Nothing

They did not have our reservation, even though they had already charged our credit card. They said we were a No Show on the day we booked the room. They would not admit that it was their error, even though I had my reservation and my credit card statement. They blamed booking.com and me. We would never stay here again, and question whether we would reserve through booking.com again. Really unfortunate, since ease of booking was awesome!

Location was excellent and close to the center of Marathon and restaurants. Waterfront location was also a plus The room was clean and the water was hot

Facility was tired, in need of much repair and painting. Several of the windows in Rm111 were inoperable. HVAC would not work the first 2 nights, but we managed by using the ceiling fan until evening temps dropped The price did reflect the above. I would recommend with reservations

Poor security! We felt rather unsafe, do to the fact that we had a room with glass-door. And a bad lock on ground floor. The motel is right op to highway 1. We moved the next night to a nearby hotel.

Really appreciated your letting us check in at 10 pm and had the door unlocked and the fan on. The room was very clean, inviting, and comfortable

Needed more space in the bath room- small shelf, maybe

The location was great. The apartment was very spacious and clean. Wished we could stay longer.Great value.
