The location is good, you can see the beatiful view of hebgen lake when you open your door each morning, and drive about 20 mins from here to the west enterence of Yellow Stone Park. Very quiet in the evening to get a good sleep.
If the bed could be more clean it will be make here better.
The room per se and its facility are good.
However its location ...a little bit far from West Yellowstone. If you plan to drive there at night, please drive slowly, the road is dark.
beautiful view of the lake & mountains; very friendly staff
cabin in which we stayed was just off a fairly busy road
It was the best place we stayed in a week of traveling the Yellowstone area. We look forward to going back to just Hebgen Lake and staying at Kirkwood Resort and Marina.
we loved the house so much and stayed there for two nights, the room is equipped with big and cozy beds and sheets, and decorated in a vintage style. We arrived late the first night and didn't really have the chance to see around, but the next morning when we got up, the lake view in front of the house really took our breath away.......truely it's not as convenient as hotels in west yellowstone town, but it's worthwhile to drive for additional 20 minutes to come and stay here
Location!! Kirkwood resort is just cross the street from the lake. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset each evening and a misty mountain sunrise each morning. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and everything that we needed.
The walls were a little thin and I overheard a conversation between the couple in the neighboring room at 4:30 am.
Comfortable bed Beautiful setting Friendly staff
No real "table," just a bench that had to make do. Not enough comfortable seating to make it a place that we wanted to come home to
Right by the lake and still quiet and private.
Not enough options for food
The accommodation was small but clean. The kitchen was basic but had enough utensils/equipment etc if you wanted to cook for the evening - which we did one night due to the lateness of arriving there. It is about a 20 minute driving to West Yellowstone town (and near the entrance to the national park) but is an easy drive and doesn't seem long.
The cottage was a cottage divided in two - so two separate sets of accommodation. We stayed at a number of places during our trip to America and this place had, without doubt, the thinnest walls (more like partition) between the neighbouring accommodation.
We liked the room - we stayed in the grizzly cabin. We asked to have a barbecue and they provided us a nice grill. Sometimes bears hang out in the resort as it's in the woods.
We thought there will be a stove in the room, but there wasn't...However they provided us with a grill, so we were ok. A bit far from Yellowstone west entrance.(about 40 mins)
Beautiful spot;convenient to the park entrance [20mi] for half the price; a great breakfast spot 2 mi away
Trailers and rvs on part of the property weak wifi
had a problem with the power for the left side of the cabin,it fused with the cooker and microwave on
Staff was friendly. Called later and the staff was very nice.
Electricity went out. While it was later fixed, the Internet never worked. The people in the cabin on the other side of our room were a bit loud, but they did quiet down later.
Great location if you visiting Yellowstone. Nice place.
Need to do something with the odor and bugs! Lots of bugs! All my things smelled bad after two nights at this hotel.
Little Kitchen. Useful if you want a little apartment at decent price near Yellowstone
Bathroom small and with problems.
This cabin charges the same price for different room size with different number of bedrooms. No discount were given to early booking. We have four people and ordered the cabin three months in advance. But when we arrived, we found we were arranged to the smallest cabin, while the bigger cabins with more beds were given to groups with fewer people at the same price. This is entirely unfair and unreasonable.
Good lake view, close enough to west yellowstone.
The cabin is not good on noise reduction, we can hear neighbor voice. The kitchen has no oven, and very hard for real cooking work.
beautiful location large space friendly staff
very loud neighbors with thin walls beds very soft, uneven and uncomfortable shower was extremely small overall impression a little dingy
Interconnecting rooms, if your neighbours are noisy, like ours were for one of the nights, you get very little sleep.
seamed peaceful , frendly, adaquite
Friendly manager, Wide range of facilities (camping, RV, cabins, marina, gas station, convenience store, breakfast available (not included)). Location (rural with good views, 20 mi from W.Yellowstone), Very clean cabins with all systems functioning. Cabins are duplex, but we didn't notice the children next door.
Unwarranted negative comments from other reviewers. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Wanted to stay longer.
Everything!!! So beautiful up there!!
The location is good, quiet and beautiful lake. Staff is friendly and kitchen facilities is very convenient.
We suffered from bug bite at nigh. I got up at midnight twice and got at least four bugs. It is a terrible night. I told the manager but he insisted that the bugs comes from my luggage.....
I liked the coziness of the cabin, as well as the nature theme. We arrived late, and an envelope was on the door to both the office and the cabin welcoming us and giving us information relative to the cabin.
The environment is beautiful.
Lobby and room is little far, so when we came there, it's not easy to find our room.
