Holiday Inn Express Kitty Hawk Beach    

It was good location. The woman who worked the breakfast named Barbara was an outstanding host and we did enjoy spending our morning breakfast with her.

The clerk who checked us in wouldnt accept our aaa card for a discount and along with that we are two senior citizens both handicapped. We paid for a room with two double beds and she said well you are getting a bed plus a couch. Which she said was the same thing. After we went into our room and that was a hastle with the doors and the step, she called and asked if we wanted to move to another room. My husband asked for that as we were checking in and she refused us. We couldnt move as we were already unpacked and one of us is paralyzed from the waist down and the other using a cane and tired from the 6 hr drive up there so we just made the best of it with what we had. We will never stay a another Holiday Inn traveling because of this and think it was unfair for her to do that to us.

Everything!! The staff were corteous, the beach was just a little stride away, and the service and facilities ok!

Our room had a little smell of humidity, but being that close to the beach and with the constant strong winds that blown over there, I think it is a issue to the hotel that is really hard to fix. Didn´t bother us after being in the room for a while.

Good location

The carpet in the room was extremely dirty. You could not see the dirt, but once you looked at your feet, it looked like you had been walking outside in the dirt.

The staff was very friendly and professional, breakfast was simple and well managed. Very pleasant and clean.

The bath stool is to low for older persons.

There were plenty of pillows!

Breakfast, newspaper, express check out.

Heater fan was noisy. Could hear noise in adjoining rooms - normal talking etc.

our room was great--just what we expected--very clean,comfortable beds. we were there looking for a summer vacation home and it was centrally located to where we wanted to look.te staff was great very friendly.and the breakfast was very good.
