Simon and his wife are great innkeepers and fellow motorcycle enthusiast ! Stopping in West Dover in scenic route 100 has become part of our moto riding ritual -- a perfect place to start a long weekend in Vermont!

Cozy with great ambiance; a real mom and pop feel; charming husband and wife team who ride Triumphs; I'm sick of chain hotels and this place is a steal!

    I didn't meet any licentious vixens :(

Just like everyone's else's review, the breakfast is the only thing to talk about. Otherwise, everything is marginal and the staff has a chip on their Brit shoulders. If you are looking for comfort and joy and a warm & fuzzy, friendly and lively atmosphere, move right along!

Extraordinarily dreary overall feel. Dark and dank. Freezing overnight although they claim each room is temperature controlled. NO Wi-Fi and they DO NOT tend to "any issues" when asked, as they claim in online forum rebuttals. They are about saving their own money and certainly not about the comfort and happiness of the guests. You almost feel like you are intruding in their space.... VERY odd atmosphere

Its location is easy to find, not in the town centre but not far away. Staffs (owners) are very friendly and helpful. They provide delicious breakfast in a beautiful dining room. They try to find Vermont Road Map as I request for free instead of buying it outside in the city. It's was the best for value of money in my 2 weeks trip.

There is no elevator. Don't bring large luggage to the room for your short stay.

The inn is an outstanding value for the money. The innkeepers and their staff clearly work very hard to keep the place clean and cater to the needs of their guests. I also like the fact that the rooms are cozy and the atmosphere inviting and relaxing as well. If you are tired of sterile, McMansion hotels staffed by underpaid folks who don't make eye contact with guests, you will love this place - it is truly an original.

It was not an issue for our active family, but some guests might not like the small size of the shower stalls.
