Cheap with good ratio quality/price

Breakfast was really poor (quality and quantity)

The place is very nice, with a clean and spacious room. Breakfast is good.

A bit far for the downtown, but in fact this is not a problem as you have a car.

1. Bed is not even. 2. Suffocating smell of Clorox/cleaning materials. 3.So called Continental breakfast is terrible, bananas bad (not even a monkey would eat it).Danish bread are old Yacky. 4. No Decaf only regular, powdered cream??? Give me a break spend some money on half & half please!!!! 5. Front office suffocating smell of incense. 6. Will definitely not comeback to this place... awful experience...

We had a nice room, it was quiet and very spacious. For a one night stay it was just perfect, we had nothing to comlpain about.

Breakfast is nothing special, available in tiny part of the office. We weren't planning on this breakfast so it didn't bothered us that much.

We had a double room on the second level and it was really spacious. Everything what was needed was there, nothing fancy but totally okay.

The breakfast is not really a breakfast, but a nice snack to start the day with.

Price and cleanness.

Nothing much to note here. Only stayed one night.

Rooms were clean, hotel was very good and location was good. Staff was friendly. Was initially supposed to stay for a day, but extended my stay for another 2 days because of the calm and peaceful location.

Free wi-fi, value of money, quiet non-smoking room. Close to center of the city.

Pool was under reconstruction. Too close to road.

Very comfortable good size rooms/apartments

Close to a shopping area. Only few miles to Point Lobos.

Staff was very nice.We came in early and the front desk was able to give us our room before Three.

a little disappointed about this lodge for it 's 3 stars and not bad score on booking, maybe my expectation was a little high,I think its worth 2 stars only.

there's problem with wifi of my room ,and it's worked after 1 hour through my several calls.

The lady at the front desk was nice. It was clean and quiet in the room. My wife did slip in the tub ... you may want to add some tub mats. Thank You

The name is confusing. I booked "Carmel Hill Lodge" but in reality the hotel is called "Knight's Inn". Though both names are on the street sign outside. I thought it was 2 different hotels, but apparently it was one and the same. I think it should be changed to have only one name.

The room was fine and actually the cleaning staff added some nice touches with folded towel designs and the tissue paper. I booked last minute during the weekend of the Big Sur marathon so the price was quite high. One of the managers took the time to help us purchase Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets on-line so that we didn't have to deal with the lines in the morning.

The continental breakfast needed some additional variety such as yogurt and/or fresh fruit. It was served in a very small room and if more than one family happened to be in there it would have been quite squeezed.

Comfortable for sleeping. Beautiful view from the front of the ocean. Only stayed one night, but was plenty for what I planned to see. Had booked for 2 nights and was refunded the second night. No questions asked! Very accommodating for my needs. Quiet at night due to the no noise tolerance rule. Restaurant on site, very good. Gas close by (3 miles). On way to next stop. All and all, very pleasant stay!

The service was great and the manager was extremely helpful. Nice breakfast. Very close to the shopping center, making it convenient to dine or buy grocery. Not too far away from the beach.

I liked the location. Easy access on and off the freeway, not very far from Fisherman's Wharf and beaches, close to Carmel, and right across the street from a shopping center.

It was a bit noisy from street traffic up until the wee hours of the morning. Had some difficulty using my laptop via hotel WIFI but I didn't REALLY need to use it all that much. And finally, I would have liked a bit more variety in the complimentary breakfast.

For the money, it was an okay value.

Maid service was adequate at best. Not performed the same on any day. Was a little worried when we checked in as the front office did not have a pleasant odor. The room was clean but the beds are old. Need replacing.

It was a nice little room. I would plan on staying here .

Cleaning solution was on the overbearing side. The room had quite a few internal damage issue's plus window screens were missing.

I liked how cheap it was. I just wanted a place to sleep. It was a nice set up for the price.

The sheets had stains on it and there were black hairs everywhere - including my bed. I was a little grossed out which never happens. Everything seemed clean otherwise. The "breakfast" wasn't really breakfast. I was still happy for it but think it should be stated as light breakfast since there were only pastries and cereal. There was free internet but it was very spotty.

Close to the wharf and shopping and freeway access

The people upstairs were to noise be it travelers or cleaning crew...too loud

Nice scenery all around the 17 mile drive.
