The Morgan State House is an elegantly restored 19th-century building. It is in the Washington Park Historic District and is close to many of Albany’s downtown attractions.

requested non-smoking room three weeks before arrival and got a room that smelled like a casino.
It was pretty clean, hot water, heating, clean bed. Also cheap 50$. It feel pretty safe and you have parking in front of the door. U also have a microwave and a fridge in the room
Fine to rest your head for a night, but not a place to stay long
A little dingy and outdated interiors.
It was very quiet there and everyone was very nice.
That the door trim and lock was ready to fall off the wall. Needs some fixing up.
location in relation to destination
Trash and filth. Obvious lack of housecleaning regimen. Throw rug curled up behind the entry door. Like so many Patel Motels, no ice machine. Owner provided a pittance. Coke machine out of order. Door ajar to room full of trash. Black hair on pillows. Room smelled like cigarettes. This motel was half the price of nearby motels. Thus the attraction. Hopefully Ptels family will find a way to i mprove the situation, but I don;t think they care.
Room had awful odor, opened windows but there were no screens so bugs flew in; bathroom had no working light to see at night; carpet was ripped, wallpaper peeling off walls, furniture was damaged. Desk attendant did nothing when lighting was reported.
This is a motel that provides excellent value for money. It provides a quiet clean and basic room at a very reasonable price.
you want a picture couldn't even take a shower
WIFI was way to weak
Price was reasonable
We stayed in room 1 which had a stained blanket on bed. Room had a musty smell as did room 3 which I had booked for my Mother.
The rooms smelled very badly, their "free" wifi, was a joke couldnt get online for more than 3-5 min at a time, . says no pets, but several rooms had dogs. We had 3 rooms and wanted no smoking, my room was only non smoking room and it smelled like cat, the other 2 rooms smelt like stale ashtrays, thank god I had a bottle of fabreeze. these rooms were NOT a value, it was like maybe taking health risk
