friendly and helpful staff, close to downtown
smokers outside, smoke still came into room
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee and muffins provide in the lobby the next morning, while not homemade, were fresh and good.
The chairs in the room while comfortable (for hotel chairs) were grubby looking, but the bathroom and bedding was very clean.
Beds were not Queen, spiders and spider webs in several places, bad smell, front desk was great when we checked in but not so much when we checked out. It was like she didn't care anymore.
what I like the most was the convience of it being off the main drag and close to shopping
The room was actually pretty decent, even though the pictures make it look dingy. It had a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The staff was friendly in person. Everything was clean. The windows were nice and big and let in a lot of light, although there were no screens to keep bugs out. (Although they may not need them on the second floor, especially when it's usually so windy.) I rated the value of the room low for the money, but that was because it was jacked up high for the SF&W Festival. You shouldn't pay a lot for this place when you can stay at somewhere much more comfortable for a decent price, like the Comfort Inn. I prefer the Elizabeth Inn or Shilo Inn if I can afford it.
There were only two electrical outlets that we could use. The TV was old. The bedding was comfortable but aged. The staff doesn't have much patience for people on the phone, but to their credit it was the SF&W Festival.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. WiFi was free with a password upon checking in
Checking in was a nightmare. The staff was very flustered and seemed to be very confused. Our key to our room didn't work after the hassle and we had to get another. For the money I spent on the room I was very frustrated with the interaction,
Their was a couple things that come to mind, first off I had a lot of fish I needed to freeze and after filling the freezer in my room, the hotel let me keep some in their freezer. And it started to rain so I couldn't go fishing so I left early and they gave me a refund no questions asked for my last day.
The WI FI was very slow.
Bed was terrible hard and sagged in middle my wife and I tossed and turned all night we both hurt bad for a few days after . Room smelled like smoke.
The mattress felt amazing. It's the only morning's that my husband has felt good in the mornings.
The view out poor window was into a neighbor's backyard, which had an old rusted broken down truck sitting there.
Price was fair, clean rooms
WiFi didn't work, no coffee until 7:30 am
Friendly staff, low traffic noise, clean room, nice room arrangement
No peephole on the door, you could hear the people above walking around, bathroom shower needs updated, outlets had covers missing, window view was of broken down vehicles
Friendly lady, very clean room. I will stay again
Wished there was better choice for breakfast
We checked in late but the manager was still friendly and helpful. The bed was big and comfortable. Clean room and bathroom. The room was quiet and we slept well.
was pretty inexpensive but the room was wonderful. Very clean, had a mini fridge and microwave which was nice. Close to everything since it's right in the middle of town.
nothing that I can think of
Location to the beaches.
Had a problem with room service.
close to shopping, apts.nice areaof town.clean, nice room.
put me in a bad room at first. had to move to another room. door was not working right.
I left my coats, called and they offered to mail if I was not able to return. I caught them at the postoffice when they were getting ready to mail them to my house, they took back to the office and I picked up later that night. Very nice to know the staff was so honest and willing to right my mistake.
The price was very competitive. The lady at the front desk was helpful. Even though it was cheap, I've had better experiences with budget motels.
The room was very outdated. The view out the window was to a wall. There was quite a bit of noise from the highway. Didn't sleep very well, people were being moved at 2 AM due to some stag party in another room. Breakfast was quite disappointing if you don't like mega-sweet muffins.
Room is dated
Uncomfy beds & broken light
Sheets were extremely thin & scratchy. No AC & windows without screens, adjacent to door, opened onto walkway; not safe. Room & facility in general was very worn & in disrepair.
nothing. The sink was clean.
the carpet was disgusting. The sheets were very old and thin. The room smelled of urine. It was difficult to even sleep which I didn't all night. It costs me 93$ and it was so filthy. Never again.
Dirty, filthy, smelly room.
It was pretty clean overall. Maintenance needs to address some things like the mold that was growing in the corner by the tub on the floor. It was literally about a 3x4 inch section around a cracked tile. I've seen a lot worse. Otherwise, you get a decent sized mini-fridge and the usual coffee pot with fixings, and microwave. All in all, the room was was very clean. The owners are very friendly. Although we didn't particularly care for the fact that they were both outside smoking by the office door as we walked up.
Room: This place has no heater or ac unit in the room we were in. The bathroom had mold growing around a few cracked tiles. My husband took a shower at 8:00am and the window (which opened right into the walk way outside so anyone could climb through into your room or see you) had a lot of condensation on it as did the walls. We thought "Hmmm... Well, we can't leave the window open because someone can literally walk right into our room. Maybe it will dissipate throughout the day." we got back at 11:00pm that night and our room was still wet. The window still had lots of condensation build up. The walls were still wet. It felt like we're in a hot, wet green house. Bed: Forget sleeping well here. Our bed was as hard as a rock. You could feel the springs. We slept horribly. We both woke up in pain. To top it off, we only got two very flat pillows to sleep on. I could have folded up a blanket and used it as a pillow and been more comfortable. Result: We were very unhappy overall. So we went down by Nye Beach at booked an Admiral Sweet at the Marriott for the rest of our stay. The Knights Inn is so bad, that we literally packed up our room at midnight and moved everything to the Marriott. We talked to the office person the next morning and told them that we moved, explained our reasons and they said they understood and would refund us for the remainder of our booking. We never got our refund.
