Newly renovated in 2007, AKA Central Park offers four-star studios and one bedroom apartments in a prime midtown location just steps off Fifth Avenue and a block away from New York’s famed Central Park. Great restaurants, shopping and museums are right outside your door. AKA balances the space of a doorman apartment building with the conveniences of deluxe hotel services.

AKA is the first hotelier specializing in deluxe apartment accommodations for five days or more.

Nightly stays include daily housekeeping. For stays of a week, 7 nights or more, AKA provides great value by extending more preferential rates. Housekeeping service is once per week. Additional housekeeping may be arranged for a nominal charge. Parking is available next door.

Area information

Located off 5th Avenue and Central Park at 58th Street, AKA is in the heart of the midtown business district. The shops of 5th and Madison Avenues are within walking distance, as is Lincoln Center, the Time Warner Center, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and the theater district. The Wall Street Financial District, downtown restaurants and clubs are easily accessible by subway, a block away from the AKA lobby.

Location, good service from staff,modern and clean,very quiet in spite of heavy traffic in 58th street,facilities like microwave,refrigerator,good bed,good bath.

No exactly "I didn't like" but as a sugestion ,the hotel could improve the continental breakfast adding cereals, fruit,ocassional cheese an cold cuts.

Suite size, location

Rather noisy room, due to the air conditioning equipments of the nearby building. The schedule for cleaning the room - one day per week.

They allow me to go one day before my reservation and find a new Hotel

It's a contruction site, they don't know what confort mean, rooms are dark and noisy, they sell suite but it's not a suite.

perfect position, just between centra l park and times square. hotel design is great.

the "light" breackfast was really too light and the quality was cheap. more fruits, cakes and juices would be better.

The noice of opposite Plaza construction will be over soon - the honking of cars due to those works on 58th St is not from civilized world.

Perfect location, room was good and clean. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpfull.

Rooms were a little noisy; you could easily hear people in the hall or in the other rooms on the same floor....But other than that, it's a perfect place!
