This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.

Loved the vintage feel of the place and how big the room/bathroom was. Also loved the fact that you could hear the street cars rumbling by on St. Charles if you're on the St. Charles side of the building that is...
Paid wifi. Not cool for such an expensive place trying to be a 4 star hotel or whatever. Also really hard to get a hold of somebody if you need to modify a reservation. The phone system is ridiculous.
Staff was very friendly and nice. Stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. Small but cozy and clean.
Close to the quarter but wish it was closer.
The location is not bad at all, - short walk to French Quarter, Garden District etc. Was given a room in the New part, and the room was big and With a Nice view.
The staff (at the reception) was not very unprofessional. Especially the man on nightshift who was talking bad about "those People" (obviously meaning People of color!)and reception was not helpful at all when I discovered I had a room With no internet possibilities (although written online that room had access). Security personnel was way more Nice and friendly. No breakfast possibilities. Seemed like a badly run hotel, has no charm or atmosphere, although apparently was fully booked. My room on 6th floor, had to take 2 lifts to reach it!)
Everything was perfect! Would stay there again.
Hotel is beautiful excellent location, service was superb, i will go back next year and stay
The restaraunt across the street
No cable u have to pay for wifi tv goes out constantly no microwave no lobby lounge no robes in the suite as advertised no xtra bedding in room for sofa bed
Not very happy although the service is ok. The door was bad. We were keep out of the door for 4hours.
Old world charm. Close enough to the action, but not too close.
We got lost and the desk clerk gave us turn by turn directions
The room was noisy
Beautiful room, beautiful location.
We did not have our room made up the second day
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was like new
They dropped the ball on my reservation and I spent between 2;30 & 3;30 am at the front desk trying to get a room. Was told several times that they didn't have a room but after many calls they decided they had one.
Very good location Nice bedrooms
The personnel was professional but not very friendly. 5$ for a wifi connection is too expensive. In an hotel of this category, we expected a free wifi.
Came in late Thursday before Fat Tuesday. Very pleasant front desk Frank. Quiet night's sleep. The restaurants were booked but great food across the Square. Most parades were just outside the front door. Made it really convenient, Away from Bourbon Street.
Great location Friendly staff When we arrived they did not have our reservation but I showed them our booking info and they found us a room
no lobby to hang around in. Room did not have mirror only bathroom
THE STAFF WAS LOVELY AND HELPFUL AND THE BED WAS FABULOUS.
WASN'T TOO PLEASED THAT CONSTRUCTION ON THE PENTHOUSE( ONE FLOOR UP) COMMENCED AT 8 AM EACH MORNING INCLUDING SUNDAY.
location was walking distance to Canal street and French Quarter great restaurant next block
restaurant was not open Sunday
Perfect yet quiet location to everything we wanted from great restaurants to the French Quarter and the Superdome. All within a roughly 15 walk in various directions. Friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Price for peak event was obviously fair as we booked the last available room they had but felt rich as it was more than 3 times their normal rates. Smaller room
Lovely place with friendly and helpful staff I would recommend this hotel...
My husband and I have stayed here twice. The location for us is ideal for walking to the superfine or smoothie king center and a short walk to the river center too. We stay at many locations depending on what brought us to the big easy. The staff is very friendly and quick to fill your needs
The bathrooms were very nice, as was the bed that we slept in. Kind of pricy, but
While researching which hotel to stay in, I found nothing about this hotel that referenced paying for WiFi or paying to park your car ($30/night).
The windows do not open. There is no restaurant so you can't get breakfats in the hotel
Having to pay to park as a guest. It should have been free
Antique luxury and feel.Street cars rumbling by out front.Good value.
Rooms could have used more or brighter lights.
Walking distance to Amtrac station.
Having to pay for WiFi. (Which I refused to do).
the suite was charming and well appointed - very clean and loved the layout. There were tons of workmen updating other rooms - thank heaven! The bed and pillows were unexpectedly comfy and we appreciated the fresh linens on both sides.
the bathtub was a 70's Kohler jet tub with old appointments - the shower didn't work, the outlet covers were hanging off the wall and the curtains were old and dusty. There was only one thin blanket on the bed - needed more.
