Located across the street from Harrah's Casino, this New Orleans hotel was created from three 19th-century warehouses. All rooms feature unique decor and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
Score from 336 reviews Good
Situated in the French Quarter, this New Orleans hotel was built in the 1800s and provides simple rooms with coffee facilities. Guests are a 5 minute walk from Jackson Square.
Score from 605 reviews Excellent
Harrah’s Casino and the French Quarter district are within a 5 minute walk of this New Orleans hotel. It offers on-site dining and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1142 reviews Very good
This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.
Score from 155 reviews Very good
Perfect yet quiet location to everything we wanted from great restaurants to the French Quarter and the Superdome. All within a roughly 15 walk in various directions. Friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Price for peak event was obviously fair as we booked the last available room they had but felt rich as it was more than 3 times their normal rates. Smaller room
Lovely place with friendly and helpful staff I would recommend this hotel...
My husband and I have stayed here twice. The location for us is ideal for walking to the superfine or smoothie king center and a short walk to the river center too. We stay at many locations depending on what brought us to the big easy. The staff is very friendly and quick to fill your needs
The bathrooms were very nice, as was the bed that we slept in. Kind of pricy, but
While researching which hotel to stay in, I found nothing about this hotel that referenced paying for WiFi or paying to park your car ($30/night).
The windows do not open. There is no restaurant so you can't get breakfats in the hotel
Having to pay to park as a guest. It should have been free
Antique luxury and feel.Street cars rumbling by out front.Good value.
Rooms could have used more or brighter lights.
Walking distance to Amtrac station.
Having to pay for WiFi. (Which I refused to do).
the suite was charming and well appointed - very clean and loved the layout. There were tons of workmen updating other rooms - thank heaven! The bed and pillows were unexpectedly comfy and we appreciated the fresh linens on both sides.
the bathtub was a 70's Kohler jet tub with old appointments - the shower didn't work, the outlet covers were hanging off the wall and the curtains were old and dusty. There was only one thin blanket on the bed - needed more.
No onsite restaurant or breakfast
- Nice room clean - Space - comfortable bed
- Close to the tram so can have some noise even late at night - not well insulated - Problem with the heater in one of the room we booked - Mentioned the problem but not being taking care of that by the staff but it was ok while we staid only 2 nights
Hotel was in a great location, walking distance from the Superdome, French Quarter and many excellent restaurants. We were upgraded to a suite, probably because of the hotel renovation in progress. It was a wonderful stay!
The rooms were very dark, even with the curtains open.
staff, and cleanliness, iformation they gave perfect locatiom
too far to go for ice
Location very near Canal st and French Q; street car across the street. !st stop of shuttle bus from airport and last pick-up to airport ($38 round-trip). Huge, clean, wonderful room -- with a separate living room and bedroom, toilet and bath, and kitchen! TerRon at the front desk is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable with everything N'Awlins!
Weak wifi in bedroom, but just go to the living room. No breakfast option.
Right on tram line, close to everything, great bed and bath!
Internet weak, tv fuzzy. But we didn't come to sit in our room!
The room was really big and nice.
It was impossible to open the windows. This means no fresh air and it is all air conditioning 24 hours. And this makes the room unnecessarily cool. They should just make a re-arrangement so that the residents can open and close the windows on their own initiative.
After the first room I was sent to was not cleaned, I was upgraded to a suite. While it was spacious and bright, it showed age. The bed was very comfortable and linens were nice. Housekeeping did its best to keep the aging place clean. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating.
The sofa needs a cleaning, the sinks & counters were stained & in need of fresh caulk, the shower head only "watered around the edges" and the tv reception was not the best. Better lighting is needed in the bedroom. Too dim to read a book at night.
Great bed, good location, huge bedroom, very clean bathroom
Parking expensive, no breakfast, lack of light into the room, wifi too slow
Location, staff and restaurant
The hotel needs an upgrade with the basic amenities of the bathroom sorely in need of repairs. The hair dryer is not even mounted, there is chalky mildew around the sink. The room facing the street is extremely noisy and shakes when passing traffic goes by.
It was a beautiful old hotel, very nice for what we paid. Had a queen bed and a sofa bed, I slept like a log in the sofa bed :) we walked to the French Quarter and took a "taxi" bike ride to get back.
Wish the parking was included in the price. It was $36 just to park with them :( we actually ended up parking in front of the government building right beside the hotel. You just have to feed the meter or pay by phone.
Price, comfort, staff great.
Location not perfect, but for the price, not bad.
Great place central to most things. Staff gave us Information and booked tours for us. Highly recommended especially for the price
Little far from French quarter. Area gets quiet after about 10pm. We got a cab home after each night out which was about $6+tip
I liked the location of the hotel for the price. I understand the hotel is one hundred years old and I appreciate that history.
I thought some improvement to the bathroom was necessary. The towel rack was missing, The toilet lid had a film of something on it, yuck.
Could not even get a cup of water to the room .... mean housekeepers.. not good customer service...
simple, friendly staff, the hotel had an old New Orleans charm.
in retrofitting the bathroom for the disabled, the workmanship was not the best. That detracted from the appearance.
