La Avenida Inn  

It was quaint, clean, quiet and located well within walking distance of the lovely sites of Coronado.

A quiet and very clean motel, just across Orange Ave from the Hotel del Coronado. Large bedroom, big closet, and nice bathroom. Easy parking, and a nice pool. Pleasant landscaping, and a very neat and well maintained property. A short walk to a great beach, or to local restaurants and stores. A very safe area, both day and night. Very reasonable room rate for such a famous area. Enjoy your stay there-We certainly did.

I had a meeting in San Diego and La Avenida Inn was a convenient, not too expensive alternative for a hotel downtown. With a car it is just a 10 min drive to downtown San Diego. Coronado itself is a relaxed, beach-resort type of town. Great for running on the beach to relax from your meeting. When I arrived my booking had not come trhough but the staff solved this quickly and gave me a good alternative

Shower didn't work - but they fixed it for me

Pleasantly surprised by the clean and spacious room. Location was excellent for beach, shopping and dining.

Location was perfect. Pool was nice for a cool down. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking, which is hard to come by on Coronado, is included in the rate which was fantastic. If we weren't leaving on a road trip from La Avenida, we wouldn't have even rented a car. Rooms were very clean, with nice updated bedding. A/c, though not central, was definitely adequate for the room. We stayed in late September...a perfect time to visit Coronado. Not busy but still beautiful beach weather.

The bathrooms have no vent/exhaust to get rid of humidity and you can tell that this it is a consistent struggle to keep the mildew at bay. The Shower/Bath fixture was wobbly and could definitely use a fix-up.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our purpose (a wedding). The rooms were clean and nice size. The unit we stayed in was off the street. Parking was free.

This hotel is a bit pricey for rooms that did not contain a coffee maker; and you had to request a blow dryer, iron and ironing board from the front desk. The continental breakfast was skimpy and the parking spaces are tight. This is an older hotel (with old pipes) and the staff person at the front desk recommended that we do not drink the water; if that is the case you would think the hotel would provide bottled water to their quests.

Staff dell'Hotel competente e sempre disponibile, da 5 stelle. Educati, disponibili e premurosi. Pulizia delle camere eccellente. Posizione ottimale per raggiungere eventuale conferenza all'Hotel Coronado a piedi in due minuti. Nei pressi dell'Hotel c'è fermata bus per recarsi al centro con soli due dollari e mezzo.Molti locali per mangiare nelle vicinanze e con 10 minuti a piedi si arriva in un supermercato. La spiaggia a due passi a piedi.

Non aspettatevi un Hotel come lo intendiamo noi. Non esiste una lobby e gli accessori sono inesistenti. La colazione compresa nel prezzo consiste in una tazza di caffè e un dolce. Non esiste ristorante o sala per colazione. Non esiste un ambiente comune nell'hotel. Somiglia di più a un residence. Nelle camere non c'è fon o cassaforte. Sulla strada, ma la sera da queste parti non c'è mai rumore.
