We were traveling with 5 children ages 9 years to 3 years old; too young for a second room which most hotels require. The 2 bedroom suite and kitchen was perfect!
Although the river walk is right there, it would have been nice if there was a restaurant on property.
We loved the 1 BR unit! It was very spacious with a great kitchen and bathroom set up. It was very close and easy access to the River Walk. Beautiful facility!
We didn't like that we had to do the "educational" seminar, which of course was a sales job. The promotion of the shuttle that stops at the hotel does not play out very well. It takes way too long to get places and wait for another shuttle. Just walk!! That is very enjoyable and convenient!
Everything was excellent from parking, front desk, vistors information,to room comfort
The staff was extremely friendly, and welcomed our group back to the hotel every time we walked through the door. The valet were also extremely courteous and convenient (more on this in the negative section.) The room was very spacious with nice facilities.
I did not pay attention to the fact that it would be 45 dollars for the valet parking for the weekend, which really isn't a bad rate, but we had a caravan of vehicles so we decided to find alternative parking for some of the cars. Also, there was an open window (with a curtain) to the street in the bathroom which I found odd and a little uncomfortable for late night bathroom trips. The toilet was especially loud as well, which didn't help.
All of the staff was absolutely exceptional. Extremely friendly and helpful, the very picture of professionalism. The suite was great, had a huge bathtub (which we weren't expecting!), comfortable beds, good kitchen, etc.
The only thing I can grumble about is that it's a little farther away from the convention center than some other hotels, but only 10 minutes on the street, or 16 minutes on the riverwalk (Much nicer!), so it's not bad at all.
Spacious place with good service, would recommend for groups or families!
Slooowww wifi, place needs updating
This is a luxury 1 bedroom condo in a hotel. King size bed, large living room with a balcony, full kitchen (of average size), L-shaped bathroom including two sinks and a jacuzzi. A jacuzzi! Hotel is located on the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. They sell timeshares, I heard a pitch at the desk for about two minutes. This place was great. Luxury living.
WiFi connection kept dropping out. Coffee and juice downstairs but no breakfast buffet or restaurant.
All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. David , the valet that happened to be on shift every time that we left or returned was excellent. Location was right on the River Walk and a short safe walk to great shopping, dining and sight seeing.
We enjoyed everything. No complaints.
The apartment was well equipped and perfect for us. The location was excellent and the staff was extremely accommodating. Especially loved the never ending supply of some of the finest coffee I have ever tasted. Can't wait to go back.
We liked the location, the room it's self was very nice and comfortable. Love the bath and spa tub. The balcony with partial view of the river walk. They had a little store on they grounds which was nice to have. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We loved the staff.
We didn't like the bed too-hard, and the couch too-hard to sleep on. We really didn't like the valet parking in which was $15.00 per day. The resort is downtown so parking is not always available so it worked for us because my mother is 85.
Lots of space. Liked that there were separate bedrooms for privacy and full size kitchen for eating in.
I did not know this was a time share property and was caught off guard when asked if I was an owner or who I was a guest of. Also there was a property tour that I was not prepared for.
Bed was uncomfortable. bit too hard. Needed a kettle in the kitchen.
Nice quiet hotel.
Refrigerator made very loud noise
Great place where 2 couples could enjoy a vacation together. San Antonio only takes 3 days to see - we booked 6 and ran out of things to do.
Timeshare sales pitch. Pressed into the meetings and wasted 3.5 hours of my vacation to get a few attraction tickets.
Pillows were too firm
No hotel bar
Loved the valet parking at one of the lowest prices in the downtown area. Staff were amazing. They run a shuttle they the area all day. I will use this place every time from now on.
Check in area where you park is way too small. But the area is land locked and there is no way to fix that. It's nothing compared to all the good!
Walking distance to downtown and river walk, far enough from excitement and noise of bars and restaurants. Very spacious, clean, comfortable unit. It was almost like home away from home.
No daily room service which wouldn't be a problem for a short stay.
Great place! Everything you need for a comfortable family vacation. We loved all the space for the family to relax. The Kitchen was very well equipped and it was also great to have laundry facilities right in our room. It was the whirlpool tub was what really sealed the deal, though. We were also very pleased with the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely try to get in this hotel again if we ever return to San Antonio.
We had very little to say on the downside. sometimes the valet service was a little slow and there is no daily housekeeping . However I would rather do my own daily clean up and get an affordable price on the room. We would have stayed an extra day if it weren't all booked up.
The resort was close to everything. It was comfortable, clean and had a great pool area. My husband had business meetings so this was a great place to feel at home while away. I would definitely stay here again!
Very roomy. Everything was close by. Very relaxing.
Noting to complain.
The staff was very nice! The unit was comfortable and very clean.
Having to pay for valet parking.
We have 4 kids. This was the best option for us to have a large space to sleep everyone and be close to Riverwalk activities. I was pleasantly surprised that we were not "stalked" by sales staff as this is a timeshare property. No one tried to sell us.
The room could use some repair - a window latch was broken, and a few other minor details. Valet parking was expensive and a pain.
Everything was great.
Can't think of anything.
