Location Free Parking Internet and TV did not Work. Advertised as "boutique" it is most certainly NOT a Boutique hotel in any way. Noisy. La Luna Would have been great value at 100 a night, but considering Internet/TV/Noise issues I feel that what we paid was just average, not a good deal.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The a/c unit worked very well and hotel was close to marina and cow hollow area, which is where my boyfriend and I like to stay. I did not like the bathroom window being wide open and having no lock on it. The toilet seat needs to be replaced, it was extremely rough and old. The toilet also ran most of the night, which kept me awake.

Spacious rooms, frige, cleanliness The room was noisy, as well as vent in the bathroom. Breakfast was poor, in addition they don't have enough place in the lobby for all their guests to sit. While we were there, wi-fi was working awful - sometimes speed was high, but sometimes less than 0,5 Mbits.

I like the location, cleanliness (housekeepers were helpful and polite) and the price. Regarding the staff--most were very nice and helpful. But someone who worked on the graveyard shift on Saturday night who gave his name as Denise was basically a thug. As I was trying to get help from him with transportation to the airport, he hang up on me, lied to me about unavailability of Shuttle and arranged an expensive taxi ride. I called the Super Shuttle myself and had no problem getting them to come and pick me up. When I mentioned that I was able to arrange a ride with Super Shuttle, his response was that "we choose not to use them because we find them unreliable." I had no problem with Super Shuttle, found them helpful and efficient. The only wrinkle I found about La Luna was the bad apple Denise. I'm not even sure that it was his real name because he was reluctant to give it. An otherwise pleasant experience was made difficult because of a rude and a misrepresentation and unhelpful behavior by Denise.

Lovely bedding and comfortable bed. Nice decor. Location great and public transport easy to get to. Free parking. Road noise (the bedroom doors don't fit the frame properly). Small bathroom. WIFI didn't work very well. Breakfast bit basic.

Hotel is just that: a hotel, nothing special about it. It is well placed if you prefer not to be in downtown; not far from marina green and presidio. The staff is very nice. A little bit expensive for the hotel quality. Take care with your belongings, I left one of my bags unlocked and what a surprise: there was a shirt missing inside next day

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The area maps are nice and helpful. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired as it was oatmeal and toast. Some fresh fruit, bagels, and pastries would be a nice upgrade. A clearer bus schedule would be nice.

I have stayed at many places on Lombard as I travel frequently there for business. This is by far the best place to stay in the Marina District for me when I compare the quality of the Inn and Personal. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable in style and furnishings. La Luna compares with much higher star rating hotels and should rated higher. The staff exemplified not only professionalism in their job but went out of the way for me. I know the rates vary here and I was fortunate enough to get the smart deal so I feel I got so much in quality for the buck and I was given a room in the back at my request where I didn't any noise. Wonderful experience I liked everything

It was around the corner from Chestnut Street - a trendy little place to eat and do laundry. It was also close to hop on hop off stops and within walking distance to the Golden Gate Bridge. The room was small & didn't have a fridge but otherwise it had every thing you need - a bed, tv, shower & friendly, helpful staff.

Location and cost, friendly staff My only two complaints: the room smelled badly when I arrived, not sure what it was, but something like body odor. It was VERY loud. Location was great for my purposes but if I came again I'd need earplugs : ) Thank you!

Location - close to the sightseeing bus-stop. Comfortable bed, quite clean and large bathroom. Well, the only one window was with a view of stair-way. But what do you expect from the budget-hotel in city?

location and parking Reported very bad TV reception and interference, Reported it to staff daily and it was never corrected. Also room was not cleaned first night and when we returned to the room (we left at 9:30 AM) at 7 PM we were able to get clean towels but no maid service was available. Also breakfast selection just fair. No cold cereal, yofurt or pastries and cleanliness of eating area just fair. Feel there should have been a cost adjustment

Well we got to the hotel and we could not check in until 3pm. We asked if they had a restroom in the lobby and they didn't. 2 hrs we had to wait. The room's wall were dirty and they did not even have a chair to sit in. There was only a desk chair.
