It was very loud during night and day. The breakfast was very poor.

Very old hotel which needs updating, room facing courtyard had little natural light. Felt a little like a prison cell, especially the bathroom. Would not recommend if you're going to be spending a lot of time in your room.

The room (321, double bed) was very big and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped me even with "tourist questions". The location was great, since it's close to the seaside, which allows a quick view of the Golden Gate and Alcatraz, and at a walkable distance from most of the city points of interest. The wifi connection worked without issues, although the reception was not always great.

The hotel is located close to a very busy street, and I believe that light sleepers might have trouble sleeping due to the noise. I believe that the price is a bit high for a simple hotel, but a later search showed that it's a standard price for double rooms in San Francisco (except those in the airport area)

Close to everything we needed and by far the cleanliest and most updated hotel in the marina district. I love that it's walking distance from chestnut st where there is a plethora of shopping, dining and drinking. Oh and the parking is free!

Although it's the most updated hotel and possibly the most recently remodeled hotel, it still could use some more updates or continued maintenance.

Good location, free parking and free internet.

Room rates have gome up recently, so right know there are better alternatives nearby. Poor breakfast.

The lack of kindness and smile of the staff. No professionalism from all of them except the girl.The noise no matter where your room is and the serious lack of privacy. You have none. All the rooms are right on the path that makes every client walk right in front of your windows. You must to keep the curtains close. Plus not enough light in the room so you're almost in a night atmosphere constantly. You hear the people above and next to you plus the flash of the bathrooms. There is a gap between the door and the wall, meaning that the cold air comes in. You need to switch on the heat often. The breakfast is from 7:30am till 9:30am. At 8:30am they don't refill meaning that you find yourself with no muffins but only toast and one toaster !!! This hotel has no good qualification to work with customer services.

Convenient location to people with car (it is near the Golden Gate Bridge, and close enough to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf), with free parking. Since it is close to a very busy street, there are a lot of noise every night and day; but we asked a room with little noise, and get one of the few rooms without street front, which was a good choice (with a caveat: since there was no windows, coming inside we could feel a uncomfortable smell).

Like most of the San Francisco hotels, it is too expensive. It serves a "light complementary breakfast", and it is light indeed (too much light, and most probably will be eaten standing, since there are just a couple of seats).
