The owners are fantastic, really helpful and friendly.

Nothing, the accomodation and the city were both incredible.

The room was comfy and quaint. Its' whimsical appeal that made it quite romantic. The art work in the halls and waiting area was abundant and eclectic. Sophie, the hotel manager was friendly and accommodating. We loved the whirlpool bathtub. We also loved the short walk to shopping and nightlife. Finally, cabs were plentiful in the area.

The room was very cold. It took a long time for the wall mounted heater to warm up the room. There was no heat in the bathroom.

The 2 women running La Maison d'Art provided the most welcoming, comfortable stay during our trip. They make themselves available to every guest to ensure that their stay is exceptional in a setting that is friendly and filled with the products of local artists! My new 'Go To' place in NYC.

We, a family of five, hired the Artists Loft. It was a very pleasant place to stay: a large separate bedroom for the parents, a very large living room including three beds for the kids and a very convenient kitchen block (including free coffee). So enough space to move around and the appartment was very nicely decorated. Also it had WiFi (very important for teenage kids to stay in touch with their friends at home)! Sophie and Stephanie were very guest-friendly. Harlem is a safe place to stay and by using the subway it is very simple to go further downtown. Supermarkets for buying drinks and breakfast are nearby. Next time we surely will stay again in Maison d'Art!

The hotel is absolutely adorable. We had Bird Room, decorated with fantastic paintings. The bad is big and comfortable, we felt like home. The bathroom with shower and hair dryer, and shampoo I was in love with. It was quite and warm in the room, one of the important things is that we had our own key, so we could be absolutely free to go and come back anytime we want. If you need room cleaning – you just need to ask, nobody bothers you. In our room we had tv, telephone (it was important cause we called in several places to get some info), hair dryer, microwave and even little owen in case we would like to cook something. Also we had our coffee machine in the room and coffee itself (tea also), we didn’t need to buy it. The best place to eat is a Chinese restaurant ‘Crispy Bamboo’ - cheap, tasty, takeaway. Hotel is situated near two subway stations (5-10 min), it takes you 10 minutes to go downtown. Harlem is a very safe place, authentic; here we felt really like in New York, all those pictures we saw in movies are here. Sophie, our guest manager, was very helpful – she gave us different maps, which helped us to move around nearby area (food, shops, subway stations) and in New York downtown. We could ask her any question, even stupid ones :) She was patient, friendly and beautiful, like everything in La Maison d'Art. There a lot of events taking part here in the hotel, it is a place not only to live, but to spend time. We’ve been to different places in that trip, but our advice is to take private, small hotels like La Maison d'Art, cause here you really feel like home and can be absolutely sure, that you’ll be treated like special guests. We will come back here for sure.

Stephanie and Sophie were so helpful and kind. Our room the master suite was beautiful and so clean would definitely stay again.

Interior was really good. Every furniture is elegance and great quality.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Maison D'Art. The staff made us feel like we were visiting old friends. Our room, the Bird Suite, was delightful! It was roomy and nicely appointed. We especially liked the hardwood floors and the glass tiled bath. It was very quiet since we were on the back side of the brownstone. Everything was perfect. We hope to stay again in the future.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed, the place far surpassed my expectaions and I would recomend La Maison d'Art to anyone wanting a special place to stay, in paticular those with an interest in Art.

La zona no me gustó mucho. Sin embargo, tiene un metro muy cerca y eso hace que estés muy bien conectado con Manhattan

La Maison d'Art wird von zwei Französinnen gehalten, die das Haus mit sehr viel Geschmack und noch mehr Liebe zum Detail und zur Kunst eingerichtet haben. Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit sind nur zwei von vielen Aspekten, die uns dort besonders gut gefallen haben. Dieses Haus kann nur weiterempfohlen werden, und zwar wärmstens!!! La Maison d'Art macht New York und Harlem erst recht sehens- und liebenswert!!! Vielen herzlichen Dank an Sophie und Stephanie!

De TV deed het niet; je kunt in het keukentje wel opwarmen maar niet koken.

Месторасположение на любителя. Район грязный, поесть нормально проблема.

Excellent acceuil. Trés chaleureux. Renseignements fournis sur les différents points d'intérêts. Disponibilité du personnel.Chambre douillette. Petit plus:soirées organisées réguliérement, pour nous, Afro- jazz avec brunch.

l'appartamento era fantastico e i proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili, forse unica pecca erano i 15 minuti di distanza dalla fermata della metropolitana

Super nette Gastgeber mit Tips und Empfehlungen für die Umgebung. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man etwa mehr Zeit hat um in die City zu kommen (mit dem Bus ca. 35min bis downtown Manhattan)
