Clean contemporary hotel
My stay was pleasant, the staff was pleasant and professional. The over all set-up of the hotel was my type of place. Totally reminded me of a place in The real Little Italy.
I did not like the lipstick stain on my bed near my pillow, and yellow stains on some of the washing cloths.
I liked that the room was small, cozy, and updated. I liked the location of the hotel and the staff was very friendly and polite. Very good customer service.
I didn't like that the sink was not in the bathroom and the bed was a little to hard for me.
Great location and clean!.. Room was right like pictures.
Don't have enough parking, we had to find a space on the street to left our car.
The unavailable parking should be disclosed sooner. I was told after As I was checking in and when I asked. I was then informed of the parking situation and informed it was 15.00 I agreed to pay so I was charged but as walking away to park they informed me the garage was full. I did get parking the 2nd night
No amenities for food or coffee. I was able to walk out the door to eat and get coffee which was wonderful however just let me know when checking in.
The cutest boutiques, one or two blocks away, very very good food and drink right in the neighbourhood, and around a 25 minute walk to downtown. A perfect place to stay in San Diego.
I hadn't realized that there isn't a coffee maker in the room. It's no problem because there's excellent Italian coffee to be had in the cafe on the hotel's main floor.
clean, great location,
room was very small
The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is very central and Little Italy is a vibrant area full of cafés, restaurants, and shops. The staff gave us lots of tips in where to go and what to see and even stored our rented bikes overnight. Would definitely stay here again!
Easy walking to shopping, restaurants and bars. Fun places with lots of activity.
Small room this time request a larger one next time
Friendly staff and convenient location.
Tiny room that had a few cleanliness issues.
Location, shower, bed
NO parking, I had to drive around searching for a place to park for over an hour, finally finding an open lot a block away and paying $20 for the privilege of overnight parking!. Parking provided free or for a small cost on location would make this hotel fabulous.Rooms very small like a closet
Location: awesome. Clean. Good bed. AC. A window that shuts off outside noise....almost completely.
It didn't really matter, but the room was a bit small. The refrigerator was noisy so I unplugged it. The morning traffic woke me up at first then I got used to it.
Excellent position in Little Italy with parking.
The staff were all wonderful and very kind
There was an unexpected heat wave that the air conditioning wasn't able to accommodate
The location is great, the service is great, actually almost everything was great. (what is not, is marked on the unliked area).
two things. one, doesnt really bothered us, but the rooms were pretty small. the most annoying thing is the coffee shop downstair.. they make very taste coffee, but they make lots of noise, so if for some reason you plan to go nap, or sleep early, ask for a room that is far from that coffee shop.
I liked how different the hotel was. I loved the view from our balcony. I loved the attention to decorative detail.
We checked in really late and the girl at the desk had her head down sleeping. Probably not the most professional. Everything else was exceptional
Very kind staff, clean room, fast network connection, Italian restaurant around.
The location is great. Just around the hotel a very good genuine italian restaurant, excellent café and a relaxed very good pizza place. Public transport is nearby and you can get around San Diego with ease. The staff was helpful and kind. I hope we will visit San Diego again and if we do we will stay in the La Pensione.
Location Cleanliness Boutique feel
The hotel was very easy to find, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by wonderful service from the staff at the front desk for checking in. The area is just superb, right in the middle of little Italy where we had many choices of authentic and delicious Italian food. The hotel itself, while te room was a little small, was very clean, modern and quiet. We couldn't have been happier with our stay here and would absolutely stay here again.
There was actually nothing I didn't like!
Cute hotel, great location, great price
Small rooms, no iron in our room, but great for a short stay!
Great location in the middle of small italia district. Clean room and bathroom, nice building with interesting design.
Parking not big enough for all clients. Had to find the public parking nearby, but the lady in the frontdesk let me keep the car in front of the entrance till 6pm (after the public parking was for free) and did not have any problem to find the place few steps away, so it wasnt a big issue. No breakfast included, but a nice coffee place nearby
La Pensione is in a great location in Little Italy. The rooms are small but comfortable.
rooms small but not claustrophobic. Very nicely furnished, fantastic Little Italy location, fast wifi, nice friendly front desk. I highly recommned.
