La Playa Beach and Golf Resort  

The location of the hotel is very nice and the pool area is confortable. Also the access to beach is very conveniente.

The staff in general, we had a situation where it started raining on Saturday afternoon 8/20/2011 and we moved to the Tiki bar, we asked for tea and to guest made fun of the fact that we wanted to drink tea, this is not the issue, the issue was/is that the bar tender there also made fun of us by complementing the joke and making some more. This single situation change the mood for the rest of the stay at your hotel and unfortunately we will not be returning, we just had discover this place is Naples, and now we wont be visiting anymore. I will not be referring your establishment to any of my friends and family members. Hope you can rectify this situation for the sake of other guests. Kind Regards

The staff and service at La Playa were excellent. Our initial room on the third floor of the tower was awful but we were relocated to the 13th floor and It was excellent! The facilities are a bit dated but still very comfortable and wavelike definitely stay there again!

The third floor rooms in the tower should be deeply discounted. They are directly above the restaurant and have no view of the ocean due to a 4' wall on the balcony.

Old world charm and right on the beach.

For the price and service level did not match up. Service much better at the Naples Grande. Friendlier staff, easier to get around and use the facilities. Your entrance is really a problem of congestion which I am sure you know and cannot easily change. Your check in staff was average nothing special to note. Valet service was the best part, very nice folks.

Beach and location

The hotel and staff were excellent. Great view from our room. I will definately stay here again.

The only restaurant at the hotel is very pricey for the small portions of food that you get. If we do go back we will not be eating at the hotel.

Loved having a complimentary bottle champagne and card in room for our anniversary, gorgeous room with beach/sea view, bed so comfortable! Staff all very helpful and polite, enjoyed a fantastic meal at Baleen enjoyed talking to a lovely host 'Lucas'. Have stayed at hotel a few times and always love our experience, would recommend and will come back!

proximity to the beach,pools and decor in rooms

the carpet in the bedroom seemed to be damp.This could have been from air-conditioning?

Location, premises were pristine, beautiful beach, room was large, bed was comfortable.

Food was expensive. There should be more opportunities to get snack food. We have a 13 yo son who is hungry all of the time!

We visited La Playa for an extended weekend and wished it could of lasted longer. The resort staff were very courteous and friendly from the valet/front desk at check-in, throughout the entire property. The Beach service was top notch and very attentive to our requests. The food and beverage service at poolside and within Baleen's (on site restaurant) was excellant. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from downtown Naples which can provide you with alternate choices if you choose. All in all a terrific weekend for us and we will surely return in the future.

This is a full-service resort. We were able to relax with no worries. We loved the beach, the pools, the Tiki Bar, and the on-site restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely visit again!!

The valet service is extremely slow during dinner time. I would definitely call down early for your car. Also, for some reason it took forever for the water to get hot.
