We liked the location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The shower and toilet were covered with hair and the towels were dirty.

The location is really good - 5-10 minute walk to 6th street and 5 minute walk to the Capitol Building. The staff were friendly and let us check-in early which was good. If you want somewhere in a good location and don't mind paying a bit extra for an average standard of hotel - go for it!

It's quite expensive considering the condition of the hotel. It was clean enough but it is in need of some renovation.

Used condom in the trash can of a supposedly "clean" room. Makes you wonder what other corners are cut?

Location and staff were both great.

Halls seemed dirty, elevators were hot and smelly. Cleanliness was subpar in the lobby and rooms.

Location a walk away from the capitol and a walk away from 6th street. Clean rooms.

The hotel didn't look all that nice on the outside, but it was wonderful on the inside.

Close to the capitol and accessible to the down town on foot. The room was clean and quiet. Enough to stay on business.

I needed to try several times to open the door every time when I get into the room. The nob need to be turned at a specific speed with a specific force. It was hard .

    Location. Friendly staff

Valet parking. Having to pay $13 a night for valet parking and then they expected a tip. Even if we wanted to just stop in for a few minutes we had to valet. The ice machine was broken. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was horrible. Boiled eggs and a waffle machine. The orange juice machine was also broken. Me and my daughter can't have gluten so there was nothing for us to eat.

Location Room excellently cleaned each day

Noisy air conditioning which was difficult to get exactly right. Breakfast ... Plastic cutlery, bowls, plates and cups! Felt that for only a little more expense could have had the comfort of a hotel ... Would pay that bit extra the next time.

Staff was friendly. Room itself pretty clean. Like their breakfast. Valets were cute.

Dirty carpets. SCARRY ELEVATOR that rocks and twists, grinds and scrapes. EIGHT LOCKOUTS. Keycard for multiple rooms had to be repeatedly re-magnetized. Neighbors reported same thing.

The location is excellent - just a short two blocks from the capital.

The facility is very old and worn. The front desk staff was not well trained - our key did not work for the locked hallway entrance door. And the door to our room was very difficult to open - required many tries before it would open. Also, the hallways were dirty and the pool was filthy. Brown scum buildup along the tile sides of the pool.

It was located just down the street from where we needed to visit.

We switched rooms after smelling something burning in the first room The second room smelled like mold. The vanity light didn't work. The room was way overpriced ($159). There was no refrigerator or microwave. My spouse was NOT HAPPY. We were forced to pay for parking.

Close to Capitol and 6th Street area. All of downtown Austin is withing walking distance.

Its an old motel. I don't like that they charge you12.99 per night for parking and it's valet only. The complimentary breakfast is sub-par.

Convenience to the UT campus which was our destination.

We were there the same time as the ROT Rally and there were a lot of motorcycles coming and going. There were also people being loud most of the night. It wasn't the fault of the staff. Grown people should know how to act when they know there are other people in the hotel.
