There was copious amounts of dog hair all over the floors
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, shuttle service to downtown was great and drivers were very pleasant.
Dogs are allowed in all rooms. And house keeping person was rude and inconsiderate. Room appeared to have "old" dust & spills, carpet was dirty, and mold was on window blind & curtain and wall mirror. We stayed only after wiping down everything with clorox wipes that one of my roommates provided.
Beds were fairly comfortable
The carpets were dirty & bathroom needs updating. There were dust & dirt built up on the corners and bottom of baseboards. The price was high for the condition of the hotel.

Continental breakfast was adequate. Pool was very nice. Night time was quiet. Great big-screen tv.
Bathroom could have been cleaner. The rubber mat in tub needs to be replaced. Underneath the mat was grossly overlooked in cleaning. We stayed 4 nights & did not receive daily soaps/shampoo & had to make due with just original one.
Nice location at the marina. Nice view on the river. Easy access. Friendly staff.
Weak Service in breakfast room. Dirty tables. Cleaning in the entire hotel was not perfect.
Location was alright
Place needed tlc: elevator malfunctioned while on it, small things around the hotel an eyesore or in disrepair, stain (blood?) on sheets, staff was...there. The hallways have never met a vacuum. Expect a rude awakening in your cup in the form of "coffee".

The staff was polite and very professional. Right next to the marina. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was on time and the area was clean.
Property is showing age. Its a pet owner's heaven. When we checked in there was dry dog food still on the carpet. Could hear dogs barking at night. Not a bad place to stay if you're truly a dog lover and have tons of patience. Wasn't for us.
Location All of the staff were friendly.
Room air conditioner was VERY loud and disruptive. It awakened us several times during the night with sputtering and hacking sounds. The wifi NEVER worked even after a "reboot" from front desk staff.

First impressions are everything. The carpet in the lobby is very soiled , the decor old & dreary and my bed was lumpy.

BUGS! Being from the Chas. I am aware that bugs can be a problem, however there is no excuse. The furniture was old and appeared dirty and musky. I wouldn't use the drawers or closet area. Over all experience HORRIBLE! Never again
Nice location. Price. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful in directing us to downtown and things to do. Toilet was unclogged quickly.
Room not ready after check in time. One bed smelled of vinegar. Too cramped; furniture did not fit in room. We had to move the chair, which rolled and had arms, whenever we wanted to walk across room. Toilet was clogged. Phone did not work. Pool closed; staff told us to go to another hotel which was allowing La Quinta guests to use their pool, but we never found the other hotel. No shampoo; they said they were out of stock, and we had not brought shampoo.

We loved the location, very pretty setting on inlet near Charleston and beaches. Nice continental breakfast area, plenty to choose from and updated dinning area. Front desk was friendly.
First night there, we saw a cockroach the size of one of those gigantic South American ones on the wall across from the elevators next to the ice machines. I couldn't believe my eyes! We all wanted to leave that night but everyone else was booked nearby, but we did not stay for the second night we were intending to. Everything was picked up, clutter free, but just dirty overall. New carpeting is a must, and our room smelled like mildew when we used the air conditioner.
Near Charleston Historic Center
Very isolated , in front of the river. The aisle floor needed vaccum cleaning although in my room it was ok. Coffee was like tea and they offered few options for breakfast. I had just left Holliday Inn at Wilmington and the difference was huge.

Overall it was pretty good. The rooms are comfy and clean. The continental breakfast was fantastic! Quite surprised by it.
I stayed there on July 20th also. It was horrible the wifi didn't work. You can't call the front desk on the room phone but they didn't mention this at check in the rooms were filty. No one cleaned my room but the first day. I got I insurances this time would be better as it is located near where I want to be. Everything is still broken and filthy. I have pictures samples and videos of the filth to send to cooperate. I also left a bag with some item there in July and card the next day. They said they had them but could not produce them during this stay as they said they wound. They are still trying to "contact the woman that has them locked away". The room was fithy especially the bathroom. I only got towels the last day I was there I had to go and get them myself just like I did on the last visit. The phone is still broken and no one mentioned it. The wifi is still going down continuously. Both stays I used most if my data on my phone for the month to be able to work. I had to call down every night for people partying in the hallway or one woman filling up four coolers at 4 am. I am suppose to return again next month but it won't be with you hotel again. Plus on the booking site. It said the rate was eight five a night. It doesn't mention that that rate doubles on the weekend. The staff there is the laziest I've ever seen in a hotel and I travel a lot. Your hotels are usually nice but not this location which is bad since I have a four year contract and your hotel is in the perfect spot even though there isn't any food or anything anywhere near by or if there is the staff can't tell you where. I have samples of the mold growing in the bathroom to be tested as well as a bracelet that was laying in the floor the day I walked in and stayed there my entire visit.
The staff are lazy and rude. The room especially the barrooms are filty. The carpet in this room felt wet the entire stay. I ask every time for a quite room and yet I am always near the ice machine and the elevator and all the traffic to both. Everyone smokes at the pool so your unable to use it the manager I've never seen as he never comes out of his office to address anything. The booking site says the rate is 85 a night it doesn't tell you that it's going to double the on the weekend. This time they didn't even give it to me for the first night as the booming site promised. I've been ripped of. I have pictures, samples and video of the filth and conditions of both visits. I have been ripped off. Read above also for what the issues are at these horrible managed and nonfunctioning and disgusting hotels.
