Extremely dog friendly - numerous large grassy areas where my dog could enjoy some real exercise, but there are lot's of bunnies, so hold on to the leash! I stayed for 4 nights, and all was quiet the entire stay. And the hot tub is real hot and fabulous.
My room did not have a microwave or fridge, but as I was staying at the hotel while visiting family, it did not pose a problem.
Liked the front desk people, very nice and accommodating
Strange smells in the room, broken hardware in the room, breakfast sub par.
Their breakfast was inadequate. They ran out of oj. The microwave was broken. And nobody has decent size coffee cups. Really who only drinks a shot of coffee in the morning
As I wrote to the manager, we received 2 wake-up calls at 06:00 though none eas requested and was definitely a disturbance to our holiday.
Hotel was very modestly priced for the area. Good views and convenient to Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park and Denver.
Breakfast could have better variety and beds were overly soft.
Bed too hard, no vending machines and price was double for what we normally pay for this type of hotel chain.
This hotel wasn't very memorable... My stay went by without a hitch, but nothing wowed me either. There are several handy restaurants and places to buy anything you might have forgotten at home...
It was a tiny bit hard to spot this hotel from the direction we came in.
Nice spacy room Fridge, microwave Non-smoking hotel
Big comfortable rooms - quiet neighbourhood - easy access to a variety of food joints.
Poor variety of breakfast.
Beds were good Location was good
Noisy...we could hear everything happening in the room next door including toilet flushing and even brushing of teeth! Breakfast was a first come first served effort and there was little space to sit.
convenient location, big clean room, responsive staff, and reasonably priced.
very little that was significant, furnishings a bit sparse, and breakfast could be changed a bit every couple of days.
Rooms were large and clean. The pool was fun for the kids. Free breakfast and fairly close to Boulder.
The staff was nice and courteous. Checkin was a breeze.
The interior of the hotel was severely outdated and in need of an overhaul. Had that not so fresh smell, almost sour. The room was ok but not what I would expect from La Quinta. Everything was in pretty bad shape, the AC never really worked, toiled handle disconnected from its mechanism every time I tried to flush. The door to the room was almost impossible to close due to settling of the building or just age. All outside areas were wonderfull, the pool was really nice.
-beds were a good size and comfortable -breakfast had a decent variety -liked the cleanliness of the pool and spa -good location from downtown Boulder -prices of the "store" located within
-fitness room was torn apart and dirty -staff often walked in room without knocking - no transportation -no food vending machines
I have used different La Quinta Inns in my travels and I was surprised that the trash in front of the entry to the rooms was overflowing and it made it feel trashy not the usual experiences I have had in the past. Also the halls were not vaccumed and the carpets looked really stained and dirty.
Clean, spacious room with excellent wifi.
Exterior doors did not lock and this was not fixed immediately
The hotel staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast area. Nice surroundings.
No mini fridge nor microwave in the room. No AC in the second floor hallway.
The location was outstanding since we were in town for CU Boulder move-in. Very accessible to stores and the school. I'd recommend La Quinta strictly for accessibility but will look around for another hotel for future.
Maintenance was minimal -- the front door knob was broken and the bathroom sink needed to be snaked -- didn't housekeeping notice that? Odd. No in-room refrigerator. Staff - meh. The hallway outside our room wasn't air-conditioned which meant you'd die coming and going! Breakfast was anemic as was the coffee -- a "free" breakfast? Thank goodness McDonald's is across the street!
Room was okay. As for answering yes to recommending the room it would be with the caveat that you can expect to get your breakfast somewhere else.
Breakfast. No fruit. Just a couple of cereal choices and one of them was fruit loops. No eggs. Nothing fresh. Only had coffee. Annoyed with the save the planet and don't use towels signs. It's very hypocritical given the shower valve that only has the volume control of full blast or off. They would just like to not have to pay for laundry if they can talk you out of it somehow. Not that they are the only hotel that does this.
I liked the mediterrenean atmosphere and hte pool as well as the breakfast.
Pretty much the whole stay
Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was tasty & convenient. Convenient location. Lots word restaurants nearby.
Sink didn't drain properly. Took awhile to get someone to unplug the toilet
Comfy bed but comforter was too warm for this time of year. No lightweight blankets were available.
