Continental breakfast did not include scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, if you like that kind of breakfast item(s).
While driving to Las Cruces, I tried 3 times to call the hotel and my calls were never picked up, although I let the phone ring no less than 6 times each call.
I couldn't get an AARP discount because I booked the reservation online. Somehow I missed that warning.
If location and comfort matter when staying in a hotel, this place is for you. The La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Cruces Organ Mountain is in close proximity to I-10 corridor made this hotel a great choice. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Very little noise pollution occurred, even when a group of young people were congregated in the lobby, which was close to our room. While we only occupied the room during early morning and late evening hours, we did watch a little TV. Cable stations that are not normally available, were on last weekend, which is a plus. (It could have been a free week of cable offerings to recruit subscribers). It was nice to watch something other than the sitcoms typically offered.)
Lastly, this hotel is in walking distance of a WalMart that is fairly clean and friendly, a convenience store, and a Cracker Barrel restaurant.
FYI...There is a La Quinta Inn across the road. It has an Avenida de Mesilla address, while this hotel has a HIckory Street address.
