The Bed too little
Staff was amazing and friendly!
I wasn't pleased that the elevators were nasty and unclean.
I liked the fact that it was close to home , very quiet and it was attached to one of my favorite restaurants.
The cleaning lady forgot to put big towels in the bathroom, which was not very clean (hairs from previous customers on floor and on hairdryer)
Convenient location with plenty of parking spaces, close to seaside and yet a short ride to downtown. Decent breakfast included.
Ask for a non smoking room.. Was given a non smoking room on a smoking floor which didn't make any sense. Besides that great place. The restaurant next door had great food and the staff was friendly.
Great location over looking the water
T.V. wasn't working. They cut off all water supply for 'emergency service' from 11:30PM until 5AM. Supposed to have 'free shuttle' but the driver was no-where to be found.
Bed was uncomfortable but ok for one nights sleep
Friendly staff, great location in proximity to Yale University and food options
Slightly outdated bathroom, but not bad.
Easy to get to, restaurant on site and near by, clean.
Great staff, nice breakfast. Tony's restaurant next door is great!
Cleanliness in the rooms
Breakfast & free wifi
Lackadaisical housekeeping. One day they cleaned the room but didn't make our beds? The next they made beds and cleaned the rooms but didn't empty ice bucket or leave new liner or cups. The biggest issue is with the key cards each night we would return to our rooms and our key cards to find our key cards had been reset. They tried to tell us it was because they were super sensitive to electronics and we had placed them too close to our phones or Ipads - I didn't buy it. I didn't happen in the morning when we went down for breakfast.
Spacious room at reasonable rate. Easy access to 91/95. By all means avail yourself of the free continental breakfast. There is an attached restaurant but the service is slow and spotty at best. The food is fine
The room wasn't made up by 4:30 on the second day. The hair dryer didn't work. The staff were relatively uninterested in supplying a remote for the gym. The main areas were freezing.
The location and a restaurant attached to the hotel was a very good Greek Diner. The beds were comfortable.
It wasn't "bad" it was sub par and there were so many cracks in the walls I had a dream that the building fell apart and crashed to the ground. The iron did not work and the ironing board was bent and warped The bathroom had mold on the floor near the toilet it was obvious it the walls had been painted over wallpaper no fridge or safe available
Room smelled like cigarette smoke.
Everything was fair.
it smelled in the corridor. The bedding was not warm and the mattress was very flimsy. The sink in the bathroom was dirty and the water seemed to be rusty.
Feb. 15 was record freezing. We did not know to arrive after 3 and spent over an hour shivering in the lobby. Why didn't he send us to the warm restaurant. He didn't answer the phone when we called, tho said he did (matter unimpt.) and he gave us crazy instructions on how to find a location. He--or someone--failed to wake us as we requested for a medical appt. Everyone else was wonderful. BAD: No rubber mat in tube!
your plywood sinks and your uncleaned room with ripped sheets. This location was horrible. I have seen better La Quinta locations and this did not meet the standards!
I just love all the excessive and repeated emails asking for my opinion on your hotel
Room size a cleanness was great
The elevator was small, the halls on the room floor was dirty, our room was freezing when we got there...it was like 50° we had to crank the heat up before taking off our coats in the room! The floor was not vacuumed and had toe nail clippings at the bathroom doorway floor...the bed to say the least was terrible!!! My husband and I were not able to sleep at all, the bed was sunken and rolled inward! We were staying over for a work awards event and were exhausted when we returned at midnight but we got no sleep!!! This was NOT good as we had a two hour drive home. We had always liked LaQuintas...but not the condition of this one. Please...keep other guests comfortable and make sure some heat is on...
The staff and community areas of the hotel were nice and appealing.
Breakfast, staff, reception desk frequently unattended, appearance of lobby, view of parking garage, too expensive for what it is
Close to Yale University. Good size room, clean bed
Located in a rough area. More like a well worn college dorm than a hotel. Guests were mostly younger and there was open partying going on in the hallways.
Room key problem
Van shuttle service
The elevator kind of shaky
Chris the desk clerk very helpful. And the shuttle drivers especially Ben
Had to give them a deposit with my credit card and no one told me before they would not take cash.
Nice and easy on and off I95
Good location with a good price.
