I thought the location of this hotel in reference to Disneyland, which was our family vacation, was fairly decent. I appreciated that my room also had a sitting area with a couch and separate tv. All other aspects of the hotel drastically needs improvement. The continental breakfast was pleasing and offered a variety of choices.
The front desk staff (Stephanie aside) was not knowledgeable or helpful at all and rude. I had to call the front desk 6 separate times to verify that my sister would be able to check-in to one of my room reservations - no one was on the same page as far as researching that information and what the process is for that to happen. Upon check-in the guy working at the front desk did not know what was going on, did not offer me a map, inform me of the continental breakfast or the hours of such amenities. I called down to the front desk 2 nights in a row for an extra blanket, once fairly late and the other fairly early and both times the same guy working the front desk replied flatly "no we don't have any more, you have to call back tomorrow" and then hung up on me. Upon check-in, my bathroom was still slightly dirty, hair in the shower. Upon check-out, I wanted clarification on what charges had been processed and what my remaining balance was, the woman working did not what I had been charged for and handed me print-outs and said all the info is there. I've worked in the hospitality industry for several years and have never experienced such rude and distasteful service from a front desk team. They must be really unhappy about something.
I was encouraged when I saw the located of the hotel and it seemed to be pretty clean. The staff seemed to be handling everything pretty well. The suite seemed basic but well set up so we were pleased.
That night we went out and brought home some food, when we tried to eat it the next day it was frozen. The hot water was out Saturday and Sunday mornings well until 10:30 am. We discovered the issue early around 8:00 am. We had events to attend both days so we had to take cold showers and barely made it to each event. We were told the boilers went out on two of the three they kept on the roof both days. The second day there was a big wind event and I would have thought that the facilities manager would automatically check on them but they didn't until I called. The garbage can in the room had not been emptied from the previous person using the room and when I tried to use the stairs the exit door to the hallway had a handle that would just come off. I had to keep putting the handle on and try to slowly pull the door enough to grab it with my foot. On the second day every time we went to the second floor or into the elevator it was filled with the smell of weed. It was so unpleasant and they are strict about the smoking policy for cigarettes but apparently pot is not being monitored the same way.
The price and rooms were nicely updated and roomy. Loved the TV sitting area was separated from bedroom
Lobby was super small
We stayed in the middle of the renovations, but the room we had was nice and roomy. very clean and location was close to Toy Story lot for park and ride.
Walls very thin, heard lots of outside noise which made a peaceful nights sleep difficult. Next time will request a top floor and away from elevators.
I liked the continental breakfast. Pretty decent choices for what it is. Didn't like how yogurt was in a huge bowel. A lot of kids were helping themselves sneezing coughing all over it. The seperate room for sitting is good with a hideaway bed in couch.
Bathroom floor not clean. Tub drain stopped up. Bed linens and towels had hair on them. Both nights the people above us were letting kids run and stomp on floors. The last night there I finally complained bc my babies kept waking up it was so loud. I called desk at 2am problem solved. Wished I had complained the first night but I was hoping the consideration of others was important to them. Obviously not. Point is don't let no one keep you & your family and children up to listen to what sounded like a stampede above your room. The lady at front desk did give a small discount basically taxes off bill. I felt with all problems either a complimentary stay for one night or bigger discount with all the issues we had from cleanliness of room to being disturbed while sleeping.
The sofa bed had hair on it and what looked like dead bugs. There was NO hot water in the morning only at night. The bedroom itself was small
The roach that climbed on the wall and the bed. Was not pleasing to me.
Very nicely done recent refurbishment.
Would like a meat option (bacon/sausage) included in breakfast.
I had an emergency that I had to handle before going on vacation. I missed the first nights stay. Later in the week I went to the front desk to pay for another night. I didn't have to because, they already extended my stay by one day. I didn't have to ask. I thought that was awesome because most places you still have to pay for that one day missed. I will definitely be back to stay in December for Disneyland.
Unfortunately, there isn't enough parking. I had to use another hotels parking spot. Thankfully he gave me a discount for 3 days.
We loved our room and location of hotel. I wish they would have had scrambled eggs at breakfast instead of hard boiled but other than that breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The little store instead was very convenient.
Pool area Hard boiled eggs
location to parks and swimming pool
they are remodling so our room was one of the ones that had been remodled and the whole toilet wobbled when you set on it.
The rooms are very nice with the ability to close off one room from the other and having two separate televisions.
The noise level. You can hear everyone and everything that goes on in the hall ways outside your room. Very noisy. No one told us that the hotel was under construction, very inconvenient, especially not having a media area for printing out boarding passes. The lobby area so small and having to deal with all of the workers and dust and mess.
Great hotel to stay for the price.
Very clean nice location since we took a day at Disneyland. I will book my next stay here
The sitting room was a great idea. We loved having two rooms so the kids could sleep and we could stay up. They had tons of plugs for charging devices. We liked having 2 TVs although we didn't use them much. They accommodated a large party and put our two rooms right next to each other.
The breakfast could have been better. Our toilet didn't flush so we had to use the guest restroom on the 2nd floor which was dirty and had no soap or paper towels. The elevator broke so we had to haul luggage up to the 4th floor via the stairs with kids. The pool wasn't clean. We didn't have a shower curtain when we arrived, but they brought us one after we mentioned it. These are probably not ordinary problems. Like I said, I think we just lucked out. There were also dogs everywhere and we had one neighbor who smoked.
I liked that it had two rooms and they were good sized and that the sink was separate from the shower and toilet. It was close to Disney and the breakfast had a great variety, the mini waffles were yummy. I liked that there was the option of a shuttle to Disney... Though we had too many people in our party to make it cost affective it was a nice option should someone get tired and want to leave early. The property was extremely close to one of the offsite Disney parking lots and it was so much easier to park there and take the frequent shuttle to the park than to park close to Disney and have to wait in line for the tram.
I didn't Ike that the beds were in the first room... It would have been quieter from hall noise had the been reversed. I didn't' like lugging my suitcases up a short flight of stairs to access the elevator from the parking garage.
The Breakfast Buffet. Very little choose from. Waffles and Yogurt.
Disneyland only 10-15min walk, Close to shops, nice restaurants, entertainment, and pretty much everything you need. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Would defiantly stay here again the next time I come back.
Nothing to complain about.
It was super close to everything such as Disneyland and across the street from the garden walk
There wasn't anything wrong at all
Beds were comfortable. Room was nicely furnished. Air conditioning worked very well. Nice big counter in the bathroom.
Elevator was very, VERY, VERY slow & card access was broken. Hallways & elevator had no air conditioning. No full breakfast. No ice on 2nd floor & ice machine broken on 3rd floor.
We totally enjoyed our stay
What I like are the location. it's near of everything. Especially going to disney. So convenient. I had a chance to do laundry. I cant wait to go back there. And from now on I could say I have a called home to stay.
The separate room was great for privacy loved the set up
The breakfast had no meat . The room was small
