Staff were helpful.
Location poor. Facilities very dated.
Size of suite Breakfast included, although it was not great Free parking Restaurants and shopping nearby
Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable Given a room next to the elevator when I expressly asked for one far away Airport shuttle had broken down, luckily it was fixed by the day we went to the airport Room and whole hotel seemed a bit shabby
I enjoyed the staff and the location's convenience to restaurants, shops, and the transit system. The shuttle was prompt and the driver was extremely pleasant. The breakfast was acceptable. The room was alright for the price...when I finally got in a room that was liveable.
The initial room was a DISASTER! The staff sent me to a room that had been destroyed. They swore it was ready, but apparently had a miscommunication with housekeeping. There are homeless people in the Boston area that would not have stayed in that room. The were able to promptly move me to another room that met my needs, but it was shocking.
Clean bed. Comfortable
We were given a smoking room even though we booked a non smoking room.
We've stayed at this hotel several times now, and it is always the lowest priced/best value in the Cambridge area. Free parking is a wonderful thing too!!
This trip, the free continental breakfast was a little lacking. The bread/bagel area was almost empty, and it was only 9am-ish. Also, the orange "juice" seemed watered down, more like orange "drink". Not a deal breaker, but just something I noted.
Most everything. Close to a local chain restaurant. Did not eat the so cannot comment on the food. Also close to some shopping, TJ Max, K-Mart, and an outlet mall.
Location was a challenge due to the local streets. Somewhat of a challenge getting to the hotel initially but not bad after getting use to it.
Shuttle to the airport goes every hour and worked perfect.
The pick-up at theairport didn't work out. I had to call the hotel 3 times to firstly agree on timing, and later to asl for they shuttle that didn't show up. I was just told the car is on the way, will be there in some minutes.... We waited almost 40 minutes and took a taxi. Arriving the hotel I complained and they still tolf me the shuttle were on the way, we must have missed by seconds! The positive reaction: they asked how much I paid for the taxi and directly refunded the amount cash. I will never wait again such long time.
We were given a room that had obviously not been cleaned (open bottles in shower, used soap on sink, food containers in fridge) Staff was accommodating and offered another room. That room also had cleanliness issues (floor was sticky) and had an odor.
the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the staff was friendly. Like the drop off and pick up to the trains station provided by the hotel.
The bed pillows were small and not enough were provided. The room was a little cramped.
Make sure the room is not right next to the breakfast room.
The proximity to the Go Train at Sullivan Square Station was ideal for getting to downtown Biston. The Hotel shuttle drove us there and back! This fall Assembly Station is opening which will be about a 5 min walk to hotel(can see it from our room). The hotel was directly across the road from a mall and outlet shopping and also beside a "99" restaurant!
Our room was a suite so we had a separate bedroom from the main living space. However out bedroom wall was directly adjacent to the elevator shaft. We Heard the elevator going up and down. Do not get room 719(our room). The breakfast Buffett served its purpose but was cramped and at times I had to wait for people to move.
Shuttle service was very helpful and convenient Staff was extremely helpful
Friendly staff Shuttle bus from Airport Restaurant and shopping within walking distance
Shuttle breakfast desk in room free parking morning paper
After being transferred to another hotel (at 2am in the morning), the entire situation was handled professionally and without any issues. They did the best they could and then some and I appreciated that.
First night had to be transferred to different hotel due to water damage in hotel.
Every thing was fine
the sink was only a trickle of water coming out and it took awhile for the hot water but once there watch yourself
Location and good breakfeast
suttle service ends at 10:00pm
The price is right for Boston.
We booked the deluxe king suite for 5 persons. Fine for 2, not okay for 5. Careful - it does NOT sleep 5, to start with, unless you get a roll away (for which you pay extra!!!). We had to make up the sofa bed ourselves, there was hardly any room for the roll away and we had to work hard (ourselves) to make this space work at all. Had to ask for extra sheets and towels to make it 5 of everything (which we had booked...). The quality of the sofabed and roll away is very poor. The breakfast space is very small. Accessibility is complicated, especially by public transport. The price was right, but we did not leave with a good feeling. Won't be back - life's too short for this kind of nonsense.
Access to subway system, responsiveness of staff
Smoking in hotel allowed. Breakfast times too short. Shuttle access somewhat limited as to time and location.
Reasonably located for visit to Tufts. Easy to use wifi. Requested and received a late checkout. Housekeeping made up the sofa bed before converting the bed back to a sofa, which I thought went a little above and beyond (regret that I only had $3 in my wallet for a tip when I checked out). Good value for the money this time of year in Boston. Thought I'd left a book in my hotel and the front desk was very attentive in searching for it when I called. Staff was courteous and attentive.
Location a bit 'industrial' ... couldn't really walk anywhere. Online I requested two queen beds in a quiet room not on the first floor; received a quiet room, but it had one queen and a sofa bed ... on the first floor. No-slip shower stickers were half-on/half-off and needed replacing (even if only aesthetically). Cable weight equipment in fitness room needed repair.
Pleasant atmosphere and comfortable stay.
Everything but the lame breakfast fruit. We enjoyed the stay and we'll return to La Quinta when visiting family in the area.
Lame breakfast fruit.
Price, room and breakfast were ok.
The location is not really good, and if you have to walk to subway station it's dangerous.
