Our door didn't close all the way if we didn't give it a little pull or push. Not a huge deal, just used to the door closing and self sealing without much effort.
Staff was friendly and informative. Room was clean and comfortable. Small but well kept pool.

Our room door was open when we arrived and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The TV was on and things were missing like the remote and the shampoos (as if they were not done prepping the room even though it was almost 5pm). I asked for a remote, we were given a broken one. When the manager and a staff member came in the manager noticed the smell and asked us if we wanted to move into another room. I told her we had plans and were leaving but once we came back we would like to move. When I left the room they were replacing the remote and adding the missing items. We got back later that night around 8pm and the room door had been left open again, this time with all of our stuff in the room. When my husband told the young kid at the front desk he said sorry and nothing else. Around 1am to roughly 3pm we were constantly woken up by the people above us and the room next to us. Slamming doors, running stomping etc. My husband again confronted the people in the halls after my 20 month old son was woken up and after I called the desk to complain. The next morning at check out I asked to speak with a manger, who basically said sorry and nothing more, didn't even seem concerned that our stay was so bad. We will not be staying at LaQuinta again.
The location was close to family.

The fact that no one will take responsibility that the concert I was to attend was cancelled the friday I checked in. I went because I did in fact receive an email from booking.com that the show was on. I was told about the cancellation on saturday went I went to go to the show. I am trying to get reimbursed for my hotel stay, $377.+ - but like previously stated no one will take responsibilty. If I had know that the show was cancelled then I would have cancelled my 2 night stay. Foxwoods tells me booking.com is reposinble, hotel tells me foxwoods is responsible???? Lookin for reimbursement because I would not have gone if I had known. I couldn't cancel the reservation because I was in face notified by you that the show "was on"!!!!! any rememdies you recommend? I will think twice the next time I book a trip through any booking site
THE hotel was beatiful, clean friendly staff etc. a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning but that is to be expected.

There was a lot of noise in the early morning hours, but to be expected with many coming in from the casino's events
March 22, 2015
Close to the casino without paying ridiculous casino prices

Breakfast did not have enough protein. It was mostly carbohydrates. Some sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs would have been nice. Separate switch for fan and light in bathrooms.
room, bathroom, pool

The pool was over chlorinated. I asked for the information about the levels and specific chemicals but was not given the information. The pool turned my hair green. It burned my daughter's eyes so badly that neither of us wanted to swim. When I spoke to the assistant manager, she offered a 15% discount for the one night [so about 22 dollars]. When I said it would cost me more than that to have my hair corrected, she told me she wasn't even suppose to give me a discount because I booked with a third party vendor [booking.com]. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel. They are, in my opinion, expensive and you do not get your money's worth. The pool is unusable. The breakfast that they provide is not at all hot. There is a single waffle maker and all else is oatmeal, bagels, toast, etc… Suffice to say, I will stay with another hotel next time I travel. Wish I had heeded the other poor reviews.
The young woman who checked us in was wonderful. Emily was professional and courteous.

Could of improved on the complimentary breakfast. Only had waffles, muffins, cereal, bagels or yogurt. Would of been nice to see fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.
Staff was very professional and accomodating. Clean facility within 9 minutes of Misquamicut State Beach & Waverley. Nice pool indoors and ample parking. Very clean rooms.

The only thing that I did not like was no replacement of soap and shampoo. We had one bar soap we were using between the shower and the sink

Beds were too hard, more fruit with breakfast, like some bananas. Tiny pool
Staff there were great, nice breakfast
July 16, 2014
The hotel was thinly staffed when we arrived - sat down to watch TV for 10 mins before anyone appeared to check us in (good move having a TV in the lobby to help w/the wait). There was a pubic or man's leg hair in the bathroom sink, the toiletries had been origami'ed into the towels so we couldn't find them and the room ran out of Kleenex during the night. The breakfast buffet bowls and cups were styrofoam (not only felt cheap but very environmentally unfriendly - paper or plain plastic at least would be a little greener if the hotel can't afford real dishes & cups) and the plastic lids were too small for the coffee cups. The only fruits/veggies in sight were mini apples & oranges and the only protein were some hard boiled eggs and full-fat yogurt (the breakfast featured loads of carbs, a waffle & sugar syrup machine, and sugar cereals - it would have been nice to have a little more fruit and some lowfat yogurt, i.e. a few more healthy options alongside the empty calorie ones). It would also be great to warn guests at check-in that nighttime dining options are limited & not available after 9pm. We had come down for an evening cocktail party, returned to the hotel at 9 and found ourselves out of luck (as did some other guests queuing at the desk in front of us). We'd have picked up something from a local store if we'd known in advance.
Like an airport hotel - a good refuge in a time of need but never a destination on its own. Beds were perfectly clean, staff was able to find us extra non-feather pillows, and they kindly called around to try to help us find a place to eat after 9pm (and when that failed, gave us a bunch of the welcome apples and scrounged up a couple of yogurts and oranges from the breakfast supplies).

Hotel ONLY supplies shampoo in rooms and offers nothing else. Breakfast consisted of only a few items. When TV lost connection front desk person seemed totally frazzled and was not helpful. Cleaning services were sub par. Very noisy house cleaners in the hallway screaming at each other in a foreign language VERY early in the morning.
Newer facility, close to connector to Rhode Island beaches, comfortable bed

The WiFi did not work well and the breakfast area is too small and selection needs improvement considering limited food options in the vicinity. Also, dog owners are not cleaning up after their pets when walked on property.
I was clean

The hotel is like in the middle of nowhere. No restaurant in walking distance. Which would be acceptable if there was a restaurant at the hotel. There is not even a bar. Just couple of vending machines. We got huge room but nothing in it. Same equipment as much smaller room. It would be nice to have a dining table when there was so much unused space. Also I could have imagined a bit better breakfast. Something hot to eat. No eggs, no bacon, not even any cheese or ham. Hotel looks reeally nice but without any of above the stay there can easily turn into unpleasant one. It is shame as it has got potential to be nice hotel.
We got really huge room. Friendly staff. Quite place.

Our first room the heat was not working but once I called the front desk they immediately changed the room. However we wanted to use the pool the next miring and the water was too cold. Unsure if there was a heating issue on that side of the building but it was an inconvenience to me.
It was visually appealing(decor) the staff was professional and helpful.
