Score from 75 reviews Very good
Large and comfortably appointed rooms, complete with refrigerators and microwaves. Windows that open (slightly). Free parking. Excellent Wifi. Curteous staff. Nice continental breakfast. A twenty minute walk down Congress street to the City Center.
There wasn't much to dislike, really, except that when I extended my stay for an additional night, I found myself locked out of my room because the staff believed they didn't have my registration on file. It was a nuisance, but it was quickly remedied.
Location close to PWM.
Noise across hall in morning.
Very reasonably priced, comfortable bed.
The lady at the desk when we checked in was extremely rude. Made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. There was a dirty face cloth left in our shower. The wifi was absolutely horrible.
We liked the location. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of selections. We were there for an overnight and will return when the occasion arises again.
Wifi was awesome
Satellite tv was out due to a storm maybe swith to cable good thing the wifi was up could stream netflix on laptops
Toilet seat wouldn't stay up.
Room Layout and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Bathroom had an awkward layout, room was noisy and not as clean as I prefer.
The breakfast was good.the staff was friendly.
The room was dirty. The sheets were not clean! They had a flood and I'm not sure why our ceiling was affected because we were on an upper floor but it was damaged. Paper cups not glass etc etc. We won't stay at another La Quinta.
night staff could have been more attentive
Simple open wifi was nice. Everything else was fine, no complaints.
Easy access to everything in town.
Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Heating and ac worked well with wall thermostat. Quiet location.
staff, noise level, cleanliness, bathroom smelled like urine upon arrival, overall awful experience
I was very happy with our stay. My friends stayed in the Wessin and they had to pay for their morning coffee.
The coffee could have been better but it was free.
The hotel was located central enough for a small fee cab ride to town and the staff was friendly and great. Great value for a fun night in Portland.
The first floor was under construction due to flooding but they can't help this and it does not impact my rating.
Loud from remodel at the hotel. Staff seemed less than happy to be there.
Not flashy, but there was plenty of parking, and it was clean and comfortable. A well-priced option not too far from downtown.
very helpful and pleasant staff
The staff was adequate. The room was adequate. The location adequate. I was a last minute drop in due to change in my schedules and needed a place for the night.
it was like living in a remodeling zone with walls stripped of wallpaper and being prepared for new paper. Obviously something that needed to be done. I saw the price at a hundred and thirty five dollars should have been it's counted considering the inconvenience and ambience I'll staying in a skid row Hotel.
Useful transit provided to the station. Large comfortable bed. Plenty of pillows. Provision if iron and ironing board useful.
Close to major highways. Decent sized room. Good internet and car parking facilities.
Breakfast selection limited. Front desk staff a bit surly and not over friendly or helpful. Room would have benefited from a thicker duvet.
Staff very helpful.
Breakfast could have had more choice
The hotel was undergoing repair work but that was unavoidable. The location was very industrial and not close to the centre of town.
